Ghosts and medium - Ghost Types Guide

hello!! I figured i should make a list of which type of ghosts/spirits there are! It seems fitting as i never explained and i doubt i will give a clear list in the drabbles themseves!

(Also i havent given content on this in ages and it was about time haha)

Warning!! These are about people who died very bad deads. There will be mention of murder and trauma and abuse and rape.

It doesnt go beyond mentioning but people be aware.

Ghosts

This one isnt actually like other undeads at all and actually very misleading. This is the only spirit type that still has their complete soul, and so are actually considered a monster type. And not an undead. And once a monster ghost finds the right vessel and has a high emotional state, they can fuse with the vessel and become corporeal. Making them effectively a monster of another subtype. (They will always be ghost type first, but they will get a second monster type based on the vessel. Be it like Doll or Robot or even an skeleton (yes they can possess dead matter and a human skeleton could work as vessel))

So. Ghosts! How they are formed is a bit of the mystery as the only people who know are ghosts and it is a mystery they hide fiercely. (Ghosts can both form from dead humans. And from ghosts themselves procreating)

It is rather ironic that most people still call spirits ghosts when ghosts actually refer to the living monsters. (Yes that makes the name of the drabble serie also very ironic because none of them are technically ghosts but that is beside the point.)

Next up the undead spirits. First rule with a spirit forming, almost always a traumatic or painful death of some kind is needed for them to form. A spirit is made of the left over magic and lifeforce/energy of a living person and these can be evoked and passed on through very strong emotions. Starting with the weakest.

Shades

Shades are the weakest type of spirit. They are hardly more than an echo. Their powers are limited to being shortly visible and very minimal interacting with things. They are also never fully there anymore personality wise. They are just a weak echo of the person they used to be. Often only remaining because of unfinished business that they may not even remember. It depends on how they feel in life. Often having very hopeless deads can cause shades to form. Most spirits in the world are shades and they just watch unable to interact or reach out for help.

Ask was VERY close to becoming a shade after his own dead. The only reason he didn't is because Dust managed to bring take revenge FOR him on Ash's rapist and murderer. (Sidenote. If you were to check in the cell the coach is stuck in. You would just see an empty and emotionless husk. Withering away slowly as Ash got all the lifeforce and soulenergy the coach had left BECAUSE Dust took revenge for him. Spirit and medium rules get weird like that. Neither Dust or Ash are aware of this.)

Phantoms

Phantoms are the next weakest but are the first type of spirits to keep their personality and all their memories when they die. They have a limited form and abilities as all their energy went into perserving their sense of self and identity. Phantoms are often the spirits who interact with ouiji boards. They are still invisible and rarely visible to the normal people. They could expand a lot of energy to be seen but that would be too tiring for them to maintain for long.

They often just want to be heard and tell their stories. They often want things to have mattered. Their existence to have mattered.

Ash only ended up in this section thanks to Dust as mentioned in the before section.

Horror is also in this sectionbut much stronger than Ash. Horror's dead made him realise how many things had been messed up and how he never truly had any influence in his life. He wanted deeply to have anythign he did matter. To be able to still do things and change things. Which is why he can still interact with the world and things around him. All things considered with how traumatic and depressing his death had been it is honestly a miracle he had still been as strong of hope and determined to make a difference.

Wraiths

Wraiths are the first spirits to be completely visible to people, monsters and humans alike. They appear completely normal and alive. But that is a trap, as these spirits only want one thing.

Revenge.

Once they get revenge against the person who hurt them while alive this feeling does not disappear. These spirits are consumed and motivated by rage and hatred alone. They want to hurt others the way they have been hurt. They want those they find guilty yo be punished.

But the longer a wraith exists to more removed they become from their original target. The longer they exist the less they will care about details. Maybe they originally wanted revenge against their abusive partner. Once that person is taken care off they will start looking for other abuse partners to kill. Once they can't find any more they will get into relationships and kill their partner for even the smallest argument. Until eventually they just target everyone in a relationship.

It is a slippery slope and the older a Wraith gets the more dangerous they become.

Dying with a lot of hatred and rage in your heart/soul leaves you as a Wraith.

Spectre

A spectre is not as much stronger than a Wraith as they have more control. They can chose if they want to be visible or not and are not consumed by their rage. They feel all the emotions as they did when alive but their emotions shift quickly. The smallest things can bring both joy but also sorrow and rage to a spectre.

And depending on their mood they will react.

They do not lose their rational thoughts but that makes them more dangerous as they learn and adapt to challenges.

While an old Wraith is dangerous as it targets everyone. An old Spectra is dangerous as they learn all they can about their target and they are patient enough to make your life a living hell to get their revenge. As a spectre is aware that death is just a possible end and escape for their target, and if they don't wish you to die you won't.

Spectres are often the cause of old hauntings in houses. The ones where you see something move or fly by but nothing attacks you. If you did not directly harm a spectre they will not care about you. They will ignore you and you can safely ignore them.

A cold need for revenge and an unfavouring focus on this gives you the ability to return as a Spectre after death.

Poltergeist

The poltergeist is stronger than the before mentioned spirits because they have all the same abilities as the other two but are truly free with their emotions. Tehy don't feel just rage or hatred or feel superchargest emotions like the spectres.

Poltergeists truly feel what they felt when they were alive and they are rare to form.

Rare enough that it is not common knowledge of how one comes to be. Very few in the story know how one can form (what makes them form is finding a freedom and relieve in death. If a person dies believing that death will just be the next adventure and freeing there is a posibility to return as a Poltergeist. This is not a matter of that someone wishing to die and for death returns as a Poltergeist, it is about wanting to life and wanting to continue but seeing death as a means to it. It is a chaotic way of thinking. To look at what everyone thinks is the end and see a new beginning. Killer, the glorious bastard, died a horrible death. But as he was laying there dying, being bitten by rats and mice as he could not even move and felt the hunger eat at him. He realised that death would be freeing. He would be free of the pain and the chains. It isn't that Killer wanted to die, he never did, but he did see it as a freedom to break free of all the chains holding him. And it did.)

Becuase Poltergeists don't feel the need for revenge they rarely focus on that. Instead they move on and start to explore their abilities and their options. It is why they will often make mischief happen. As they grow bored and want to play in a way they can. They want interaction as there are hardly any spirits that are on their level.

As they are powerful the weaker spirits will try to stay away from poltergeists. Afraid they will play and hurt them for their amusement. Some may, some may not. It depends on who the person was.

The Poltergeist is dangerous as they are rare and people just don't know what they can expect of know their limits. Many believe these may have been the most powerful if it weren't for their seemingly mischivious and carefree nature. Ironic, for a spirit.

And last, the strongest spirit.

Banshee

Banshees are by far the strongest spirit as they gain magical powers on their death. They can sing a soft song which is enchanting and able to hypnothesize you and encourage you to remain near them. Which is dangerous as they will hold you close before stealing your lifeforce and life-energy to empower themselves.

They also have a cry/scream which can split walls and crush bones. Which is from a weak Banshee.

Banshees do not feel empathy anymore. They know they used to be alive but the power and magic available to them makes them feel mor eimportant and above mortals. They feel like they have risen above and deserve to be served.

They do not take kindly to you refusing to listen to their orders or if you do not serve them. They will take it as a personal insult and they will try their hardest to make you reject this decision.

Banshees are formed from other spirits. Who manage to collect enough life force and life energy of other spirits to grow stronger.

If you find a banshee you quickly need to find help against it, as if you don't have the right tools you will not win. And the banshee will figure out you are against them, and they will make sure you never do that again.

As mentioned above, A banshee is formed through taking Life force or Life energy from other creatures, specifically other spirits.

All spirits have a very limited amount of this energy. Living people generate it for as long as they are alive and use it to make it into mana or just energy.

Spirits can steal this force from living people. Which is why they will often haunt people to begin with. To gain a little bit of this unlimitted source. But it is hard to take this energy from people as the physical body protects this.

It is easier to take from their fellow spirits as they do not have a physical form to protect this energy. Which is why spirits are almost always alone, as the only thing they truly and naturally have to fear are their fellow spirits.

(Ash is safe as he is anchored to Dust. Dust is sharing his own energy with his brother without much of a thought. And because Dust is one, physical, and two, a very powerful medium who has many charms to protect both himself and Ash (and later the other spirits stalking him))

There is one more type of undead to talk about.

The living undead.

Revenant

The revenant is not a zombie. A eevenant is a spirit who somehow gained a physical form again.

No one is sure what makes this possible or even how a spirit can achieve this.

This is not the same as possession. This is a way that they truly gain a body that is truly theirs. A body that is specific to their spirit and no one else.

Revenant are immune to possession and most of the other spirits's abilities.

But for now? Not even the experts on spirits know what a revenant can or could do.

After all... It isn't like this options happens...

In dusk au did either dogman or Petey Talk to anyone about what happened in their hs years while they were appart, like not full on therapy mode but like did any of them ever mention a "past friend" of something like that to anyone?(Now that I think about it does Petey even have any Friends? <Genuine question I would like to be answered)

2. In divine liberation au does Petey do anything other than annoying dogman? does he go around pranking people or smthing? Or does he dedícate 100% of his time to being with his son and comitting attempts at corruption with mutually romantic subtext?

3. And lastly, Hypotethically if Petey were to posses another person how jealous would dogman get?

(this idea keeps bothering me so I'm launching it into the void of tumblr)

Danny is the ghost king, has been for a hundred or so years, and had been working non stop to fix the mess pariah dark made. He did but he keeps working almost like an obsession (its not thankfully)

Cause working with no pause is not healthy even if one is dead, CW and other ancients decide to give their king a forced reincarnation vacation. Their king gets a rest of his duties by living a human life while they manage the zone, cause a human life is nothing to ghosts that have existed for millennia, they can wait for their king to return.

The high king of the ghost zone is born again with a new name. His name is Bruce Wayne.

Bruce is a happy child, and a very smart one. He understand machines in some strange way and is incredible good with physics (specially astrophysics). His parents are aware of how smart he is and encourage him to learn more things, Bruce learns a lot of how to manage a business from his dad and his mom teaches his about lots of things but mostly on how to think logically and deduct the truth

For some strange reason animals seem to like him, specially cats, dogs, crows and bats. When Bruce falls into the well he is scared by the bats but calms down enough to know the bats are also scared

Bruce is a happy child, until his parents are murdered in front of him.

Bruce feels like something in him breaks at that. his emotions are so painful that its almost physical. Alfred is the only one he has left and he becomes very protective of his butler

Bruce grows up with grief in his heart. He graduates high school with the biggest honors and goes to college. He tries engineering and leaves it. He tries medicine and leaves it too. He cant move past his parents murder and he cant unseen how his beloved city seems to get worse and worse.

Bruce decides to do something to fix all of that. He now has a mission. He drops out of college, makes a well thought plan and leaves to train leaving a letter behind to Alfred cause he knows if he sees the butler he wouldnt be able to leave. He needs the training.

For a year, Bruce looks for the best experts in a lot of fighting styles, offensive and defensive, things happen and he stars training with the League of Assassins. Bruce is good and learns fast but there is something in there that makes him extremely wary and make him work very hard to not get hurt

The Lazarus Pit

Those glowing green boiling waters gave him a bad feeling. Sometimes Bruce could swear the were whispering at him, calling to him to let them give him something he ought to have. Bruce was smart and knew that would be nothing good and he didnt ask the others if they too could hear the weird waters. He was sure Ra's would kill him for it. The guy was obsessed with the thing.

Unfortunately for him, in the final test to be an assassin, Bruce got hurt enough to need to be put in the waters to not die. Ra's saw potential in him and he was not going to lose someone that good in fighting.

In the waters, Bruce was being healed but something else was going on. The Lazarus Pit was made of a mix of ectoplasm, purified waters from long lost oceans and death magic. That combination made the waters heal all organic organisms in exchange for something, for sentient beings was their sanity and for non sentients was their will

Its a good thing that the ectoplasm in it recognized their king soul and the death magic was not able to take, but it could give as well.

That day Bruce Wayne remembered his last life and knew what awaited him after he died. That night, Bruce escapes from the League and returns to Gotham.

Once home, Bruce pass some time with Alfred telling little things about his travels. Alfred gives him a look that told Bruce that the butler knew he was not telling him everything. It doesnt takes long for Bruce to tell Alfred everything, the hidden parts of his travels, the League and his memories from a previous life. He could never hide things from Alfred for long.

Alfred believes him and declares that Bruce is his guard no matter what he had been or done. Bruce is happy to have Alfred with him.

Bruce had not forgotten his mission to fix Gotham and after searching for a place to train and build things he finds the Cave under his house. For some reason it feels nostalgic, as if one could build a portal to the realm of the dead in there. Of course Bruce has no plan of doing that.

While building his gadgets to fight crime in Gotham, Bruce also builds something he saw the Fentons do before the portal. It was a machine to gather ectoplasm in a passive way. He had a suspicion that the city was not only contaminated by smog but there was also something supernatural in it.

When the first drops of glowing green ectoplasm filled the vial he had left under the machine Bruce knew he was right. As it only took some days to gather it, it was clear that there was an unusual high concentration of ecto in the city. It would be too easy to open a portal in here.

Bruce then used the gathered ecto to power up his supercomputer and many more tools. He was also working on making a car powered up with it. Of course he was not going to let the bright glowing green be seen in whatever he is making.

Alfred had a slight suspicion that besides being the ghost king, his guard might be also a mad scientist

Bruce might have also kinda tamed the colony of bats living in the cave. Making sure all of them were healthy and vaccinated was a nightmare he was not willing to repeat.

Because of working with ectoplasm, Batman always gives an uncanny feeling to the criminals and makes most of them give up in fear. Batman becomes a cryptid very soon, though the police still tries to arrest him, Bruce gets a odd nostalgic feeling at being chased with guns shooting at him

it only takes a year after Batman is out fighting crime for a ghost to show up. Luckily that ghost is just Cujo. Now Bruce has a very good guard dog to protect his house and Alfred

Thanks to Cujo Bruce discovers the city has an spirit and its kinda cursed. Its too bad he had no knowledge of what kind of magic is affecting the city. And because his current human body is not magical he can do little to help. Having Cujo chase away maligns shades seems to help some.

When the rogues appear they remind Bruce of the ghosts he fought when he was a half ghost. Though, he knows they are alive and can change for the better unlike the dead that are stuck and need something too drastic to change. Although Arkham is so corrupt that Bruce has to fight another type of fight to fix that, one that unfortunately he cant punch away

When Bruce sees how the child in the circus is left alone after witnessing his parents death, or course he would want to help. He didnt expect that Robin would join him in his night job

Then another child tries to steal his wheels and ends up adopting him, he also didnt expect the new Robin and by know he would seen the pattern

When Jason is killed by the Joker, Bruce is devastated and seeks vengeance. Batman cant kill, thats a rule he imposed to his vigilante persona. But he didnt need to be Batman to get revenge and the teachings of the League of Assassins come in handy. He knew that if he killed the Joker his soul would belong to him and he would get a better revenge when he becomes the ghost king once more.

An unknown assassin kills the Joker

Twice

There is something strange in Gotham. Something that makes the Joker come back to life a little bit more unhinged every time. Something that made Jason Todd crawl out of his grave some months after burying him

Time passes, Bruce gets more children and gets in more fights. Then Jason comes back to Gotham filled with the Pit madness. But when he tries to confront Batman, the Pit calms down in the presence of its king.

Jason is happy to not having to fight the Pit all the time, he still becomes the crime lord/anti-hero Red Hood, though his relationship with his dad is not bad after they had a talk, mostly of Bruce killing the Joker more than once already (they probably go to kill the Joker again as a bonding activity or something)

-There would be other shenanigans in between all this like:

+the kids discovering you can bring food back to like with ectoplasm and making a mess in the kitchen, everyone but Jason gets a life ban from Alfred domain

+the other heroes of the League thinking Batman has a meta power to make him appear intimidating, tho it wouldnt explain where he gets the strange technology or why some could swear a green see through puppy follows the dark night even in the watchtower

+Batman and Deadman make a strange friendship in the eyes of the other, Deadman knows the bat has the soul of his king but as he is not king now its fine to be casual, the ghost adores Cujo and pets it all the time

he's very unhappy to hear this

making sure you get home safely

he's keeping an eye out for slightest possibly of y'all being followed

and seunghan will physically come between you & coworker

but he's more likely to remove you from the situation then fight(?)

he's not the type for confrontation

it's not that's he's not showing up for your peace of mind

another quiet but not intimidating member

he's not noticeable doing anything though

anton's just there to support/ back you

Ok ill have to try to write out everything i've got so far!

So the original premise was that ingo and emmet got mixed up and ingo got sent to hell instead of emmet as an oopsie (emmet didnt do anything overly bad in life but heaven/hell stuff is so arbitrary they probably just made a weird decision somewhere down the line lol) but i thinkkk i have switched it to Ingo gets sent to hell because Volo successfully sacrificed him in a ritual and emmet, while dying in the same place, wasnt actually part of it so normal rules still applied to him. Ingo's soul is all messed up and corrupted because of the ritual which caused his amnesia. Emmet finds out about Ingo being sent to hell after he cant find ingo anywhere in heaven and rightfully gets upset at heaven's lack of action because he see's ingo's situation as a huge injustice. So Emmet's whole thing is basically just causing problems until he finds his way to hell and reunites with ingo.

Ingo's situation is where the fun is lol. So he wakes up after spawning in hell and is just a total odd-ball. Half because he doesnt remember ANYTHING from before he died. Maybe not even his name? Which is weird. And also because he's a total sweetheart. No one can figure out why he's even there because it's not like he's a hellborn so he must have done something to end up in hell. After a brief period of wandering around aimlessly, Lady Sneasler, who is an overlord in this au, kinda adopts him and takes him places because she thinks hes so charming and adorable. Melli is just a guy that hangs around lady sneasler even though he acts like he doesnt like her? She's the poison overlord (kinda like an aqua tofana situation for sneasler) and melli is a poison guy. So they kinda just fall into the same group. So they both become friends of Ingo. After a while of character introductions and some brief fun stuff like Sneasler getting Ingo to do all kinds of fun stuff he probably wouldnt do on his own (like the clubbing thing lmao) Ingo has his first blackout, probably triggered by some sort of memory thing, and its kinda terrifying. When he has those blackouts he shifts into his full demon form and his power goes haywire causing a lot of destruction. Its a huge shock because normally regular sinner demons dont really have much in terms of inherent power and also because Ingo cant actually use his powers while conscious so there was no sign of him being capable of that level of chaos. Anyway, after he has his little blackout his body sustains damage from exerting that kind of power and is kinda down for the count for a while afterwards. His story from there on is figuring out what is going on with him and trying to stop those blackouts before it either destroys him or a good chunk of the city, whichever comes first lmao. Sneasler is kinda just there to reign in ingo and melli she just loves a good show lol Melli is kinda where i wanna connect it more to the existing hazbin characters/storyline. Because this is lowkey more of a crossover. He accidentally becomes charlie's new pet project which no one is a fan of 😂 melli did not volunteer for this at all but his character arc is learning to make friends and care about other people after pushing people away for so long because he's a huge ball of self-hatred. He's kinda perfect for the "i can fix him" thing the hotel is all about. SO he's stuck learning to become a better person and being the narrative connection back to the core of the actual show lmao. Not sure if they ever even stay at the hotel. Maybe ingo and melli could flip flop between sneasler's place and the hotel. They dont actually have places of their own so its one or the other. In terms of intra character interactions i think its like this (this is prolly set post-s1 so no sir pentious): Charlie: thinks ingo is nice, wants to fix melli and is working with ingo to do this. Her relationship w sneasler is similar to rosie in my head. Alastor: finds Ingo somewhat threatening because Ingo can read him like a book. would otherwise find him pleasant but because he has a hard time keeping up his mysterious scary image around him he avoids him if possible. Ingo really likes him because "he reminds him of someone but he cant put a finger on it", will teleport away if melli is in the vicinity, finds sneasler charming. would gossip with her 10/10. When emmet shows up they try to kill each other which is entirely unsurprising. Everyone else in the hotel is more or less "theres something not right about that ingo guy but he's nice enough i guess", "FUCK melli get him OUT OF HERE", and "lady sneasler is chill" and when emmet shows up theyre just like "oh this explains why he likes alastor so much. Now theres TWO OF THEM." I would like to develop the other character's opinions on the situation more but this is getting. so so long. misc other character stuff: 

Lady sneasler still has sneasels, usually 3 of them. they just have tiny wings and horns but otherwise look like regular sneasels. No clue what their deal is they just exist. 

Rosie and Sneasler get along great. they are kinda similar but fill different power-niches in hell. 

Rosie finds ingo SO charming. She loves his odd vintage flair despite literally dying like. in the 2020s lol. He's very popular in cannibal town because he's a train freak and edwardians love trains. He takes the cute edwardian cannibal kiddies on train rides.

im not really sure what goes on with emmet in this au i just know he's having a shit time of it and eventually finds ingo. I havent decided if he actually falls or just leaves heaven because it sucks and no one cares enough to stop him. Also only slightly related but i actually have a voice-canon for him which is will wood which works great for this au lmao. Also emmet plays killer jazz piano and alastor is so mad about it because its actually good.

emmet and alastor dont really have all that much in common besides the smile thing but its just enough for them to beef over it. really its a similar feud as alastor and lucifer, alastor sees emmet as a threat both because of his power and the smile thing and emmet doesnt like that ingo is following alastor around like a lost puppy. emmet is def way less mysterious, he's just pissed that his brother is suffering even if ingo doesnt seem to notice his own problems.

volo doesnt really come back up in this au because he's still alive. just imagine that akari is kicking his ass in the living world or something lmao. 

i cant decide if pokemon exist in this universe. It would be funny tho to have chandelure exist in a world where souls are like whole ass people who can die for a second time. worlds nicest guy's pet lamp eats people until theyre perma-dead for breakfast.

Elesa (and probably also drayden and iris depening on your headcanons) are very sad :( i like emmet/elesa so it makes it extra hard on elesa tho. there is no solution for this.

y'all remember that discord rp animatic abt ink and error. guess who worked on it some more ya so a lot's happened! the animatic actually leaves off really early in the rp- a lot of stuff has been happening, its just that a lot less of it is error and ink related lol the story goes as follows: (providing timestamps so u guys know what im talking abt) 0:00 ink and error (alongside many others) are trapped in this safehouse(the multiverse outside it is collapsing) which. as the name depicts. keeps them safe the safehouse has a dome surrounding it that's miles thick with concrete, metal, all that 0:13 error REALLY does not like being trapped here, so he tried breaking through the walls with his blasters 0:26 ink attempts to convince him not to (as it is against the rules to break the walls) but error doesn't listen. they have a big fight and error ends up breaking the dome's outer layer- which is what essentially lights up the entire place, and gives the illusion they're on earth. 0:51 he, alongside ink, are sent to a dungeon as punishment. (they end up making a friend there) and they use the owner of the dome's aunt to bribe him into letting everyone out. 1:17 error and the owner end up having a private discussion, in which error realizes the owner- the guy he DESPISED, was exactly like him. they both killed multiverses. they both killed people for fun. 1:22 he ends up having a fight with his own morals, before deciding he'd change for the better. 1:29 error frees the owner's aunt in exchange for the freedom of the people locked in the dungeon with him. 1:42 while he's walking out of the dungeon, he apologizes to ink for everything he's done 1:45 error walks back to his room and cries. 1:48 ink ends up pushing a chocolate bar with a note on it through the crook at the bottom of error's door the note says he forgives him. error cries again because of it. 1:51 ink and error end up hugging

thats where the story left off previously, buuuuuut its continued :3 1:52 eventually, ink realizes that he's run out of his lil emotion vials due to the corruption of the multiverse, which is an issue ! 1:59 due to ink's rapidly decaying health, error decides to give up half of his soul to save the guy from going kaput! this causes issuesss 2:04 nightmare- who had come to the safehouse, decides to mess with error's mind. he convinces him to get back into his old habits, under the pretense that he's weak and pathetic otherwise. error believes this. (also nightmare was redesigned by a friend of mine- her name is al! she doesnt have tumblr i dont believe though so raghh i cant ping her) 2:17 in what can only be described as a mental breakdown, error attempts to take back the half of his soul he gave to ink 2:30 error hesitates- he doesn't truly want to hurt ink, though he's not too sure why. 2:36 (its not on screen cus i couldn't fit it) error decides to capture and attempt to kill pj and gradient (who are here too!) instead, but this backfires as ink was no longer captured. ink knocks him out with his brush. could not stop thinking about a sukuna+yuuji as siblings au. hopefully the spacing helps bc i dont feel like using colored text. typing style aside this was all written in a stream-of-consciousness way so it might read like hot ass. but its okay 🫶

img 1: - heian sukuna+yuuji!!! theyre not related (yet). made heian yuuji blond bc of how gege sometimes colors his hair as blond. also its something that "others" him from the general population of the era, making him look like a foreigner (yuuji🤝sukuna; being seen as weirdos. worse in sukuna's case obviously). he's the older sibling bc its funny to me. also tbh he'd do good as an older sibling - i had vague thoughts on how they met but im kinda meh about it so i wont add it for now - they travel together for a while. at one point he learns sukuna is under 18 and it shocks him lol - they get closer over the years, but they split at some point so that yuuji can be a proper sorcerer. sukuna tells him it wont work out but yuuji tries it anyway. sukuna for sure got bitter about it. just a lil - time passes; sukuna finds uraume -> they eventually set up base somewhere -> he does his king of curses shit -> yuuji drops by at some point, finally disillusioned with jujutsu society (sukuna absolutely tells him "i told you so") - yuuji stays with sukuna and uraume. he also gets to view yorozu's yorozu-ness from time to time lol - when kenjaku tries convincing sukuna to turn into a cursed object yuuji isnt enthused about it. but he eventually pulls sukuna aside to set up a binding vow between them along the lines of yuuji being sukuna's future vessel (<- whoaaa reincarnation plot)

img 2: - post canon (or post culling game ig) sukuna+yuuji. sukuna gets his own body after all 20 fingers (+his corpse ig) are eaten but kenjaku pulls some shit. maybe activating a fail safe they set up back when they implanted sukuna's finger in yuuji? idk - so yuuji starts dying or something and sukuna sacrifices 10 fingers worth of power to stabilize him. the "ten fingers worth" turns out being literal too and his body ends up smaller and younger+he ends up with only one pair of arms (and no tats rip)

img 3: - sukuna+yorozu as first years. yorozu gets her own body too, tsumiki is fine (yay). thought it was a shame that yorozu barely ever gets to live in aus bc i think she's a funny character (tho i get why she's usually killed off) - based their uniforms off their canon outfits+some already existing student uniforms. designs subject to change -- sukuna: the pants style of his heian+megkuna fit, a sleeveless compression shirt(?) like his megkuna fit but as a croptop to not bother his stomach mouth, the same shoes as yuuji's uniform shoes. also used todo's outfit as insp. kinda wanted to take insp from noritoshi's/mechamaru's uniforms as well but decided against it. at some point i realized the vibe i wanted to draw him with was starting to turn out delinquent-like so i used misc manga delinquents as insp -- yorozu: heavy insp from her culling game fit (sleeveless top, pants style, boots, and those armband things). i took insp from mai's uniform too - i feel like in this au sukuna+yorozu have better rapport. not that he doesnt get annoyed with her sometimes but its not as bad as canon. also i kinda feel like pushing yorokuna for this au cause they are hilarious to me lmao

img 4: - okay so remember the previously mentioned reincarnation binding vow. now imagine shenanigans happen (maybe kenjaku messed something up in their own planning) and yuuji+sukuna end up body/soul swapped right when the first finger is ingested, without initially remembering they knew each other in the heian era - they both end up thinking theyre each other but yuuji (as sukuna) doesnt have hostility/disdain towards sukuna (as yuuji), and sukuna (as yuuji) has some violent leanings but like. not extremely since he believes himself to have lived as an ordinary person with a caring guardian for 15 years lol. - dunno if ill stick with the idea but i really like the set up just for the possible second hand embarrassment sukuna will experience after getting his own body lmao - like!! sukuna was mostly removed from his hangups, minus his subconscious ones+he "knew" he was loved as child and he got to freely experience making friends+having a teacher who taught him jujutsu/looked after him. sukuna def told gojo that he'd get as strong as him and fight him - also i might draw something related to it at some point but for this au i see him as someone who plays arcade rhythm games like ddr/mai mai/etc+likes eurobeat (and other music but that felt like the most amusing genre to mention). he continues liking those after getting his own body - when sukuna gets his own body+his proper memories back im sure he'd want to deny what he'd said/done while soul swapped but it'd probably feel like admitting defeat or something. so while he's not as open as he was before he doesnt pull away completely (yuuji probably helps him sort out his feelings too) - he had the mind of a teen so you know he said some stupid shit here and there. particularly i have the idea of him not being knocked out at shibuya and eating the fingers jogo had while calling himself "the throat goat" lmfao - meanwhile yuuji had his personality but was stuck with an adult's mind+sukuna's memories, being more somber and maybe a bit cold/brutal sometimes, but still caring. probably was interested in nurturing sukuna's potential/helping sukuna to familiarize himself with his cursed energy and jujutsu concepts. a weird but supportive presence in the back of sukuna's mind - it was kinda awkward when they un-swapped. bc hello?? SUKUNA was a student while the guy they thought was sukuna is actually a personable teenager. but its fine. trust - yuuji enjoys seeing sukuna at a younger age than when they first met in the heian era (even if he's lacking a set of arms). cameras/smartphones exist in the modern day so you bet he takes a lot of pictures when he can - the rest is misc doodles. uraume sticks around ^_^ uraume+yorozu likely knew something was up before the siblings did lol

1 Power Len's

Power len's is a thing that Volt gifted Michael in the first chapter, ill start from the beguining, from where they come from, whats theier use and why they dont make them anymore. Im saying all thos thing hire because i dont see my self trying to explain it by Volts perspective

They where first produced once Vault 09 was on lockdown, they couldnt be produces seperatly so special mechs where created to hold them, its said that they firstly needed a "fake soul" for them to work, then when the time came, they would force the mech to give up theier lens, which resulted in a lot of them dying because they would only give thos lenses to thos who where pure hearted. Thos mechs then proseded to ither hide theier lens for theier entire life, or just straight up break them so no one can use them. Now in the world of Silent land only inside old vaults, there is a very small chance that youll find one of tho legendary lends, even rarer if there is a operational mech inside one,

Once a human has the lens planted in them, they will notise changes right away, if we take michael as a example, half of his body is flowing with power liquid, (if that makes seanse) soo if the thing is planted on the right side of your body, that side will start to produce power liquid, if the chest is the place the lens is the whole body will be flowing with blood and power liquid. The lens acts as a new heart to the body, and when exposed to light, the power liquid production is higher, the production can be also encrised by eating food, or if your high on energy.

When someone is just injected with the lens it dosent mean that someone has the full power yet, they can only make one simple holografic "nail" that can become anything pretty much, but in small size, this hologram can interact with the real world, they can also break physics, that someone can only use that, untill the mech that gave that someone the lens, allows its owner the "admin mode", this mode can be only activated when the lens owener is asleep, allowing the mech to allow the admin mode.

But im gonna go back for a bit, the orb is pretty much the lobby for the human, and you can pretty much modify the orb to become a nail, so that you can then modyfy it to anything, ok back on track.

Once the human that has the lens becomes the admin, well basicly that human becomes a god, then the orb will allow him to do a lot of diffrent things, things like:

-Body modification to limitless extend. This allows the lens user to expand or compress theier bodies, it also alows them to create:

Wings, tails, bio mech attachments, unadaiafable attachments,

They can also add weight to theier bodies and make it lighter, this means that theier bodies can become lighter then air or just really light which allows them to glide and jump really high.

-telekinesis with anything in sight. Anything that they see and isnt attached to anything, they can pick up with just theier will power, that also break laws of physics because any object thats picked up losees its weight.

-special view. This can mean a few diffrent things, which are:

Sight thrue walls, automatic info on anything that you look at, special place locator which allows the user to see cretan points, like citys,vaults ect. And how far away you are from them (doesnt work in Abyssal trail).

Also the lens when its implantet cant be broken, ever. And the lens acts as a heart that produces power liquid
