Level design is hard. I haven't done a lot of it before & don't know how it feels, it requires a strategy that I keep not using for some reason, it takes quite a while before it feels like I've done something. It's basically like when I was trying to write essays for class.

And when I'd have to write essays, more often than not I'd end up distracting myself with YouTube or video games or checking social media or working on other projects. Sometimes even going outside to hang out with friends.

I don't give 110% of my focus, and my default state is to essentially do something else that doesn't require 110% focus. I always forget that I could give 110% focus because most of the time I don't need it; so when the thing comes around, I'm struggling until I remember "oh wait, we should be doing it like X".

Bleh. It's stupid.

I find it so funny, in light of TikTok’s imminent American demise, that even now they aren’t considering moving to tumblr. The last two social media refugee crises (Twitter -> X and whatever happened with Reddit) prompted a wave of wide-eyed new baffled tumblr users to flood this app and yet last I heard all of the tiktokers are flooding en-masse a Chinese social media app. That is entirely in Mandarin. Instead of moving to tumblr.

I know that realistically you can only fit so many movies into a list of approximately 100, but I cannot take that "How many of tumblr's favorite movies have you seen?" list that's been going around seriously because there are some truly egregious omissions.

Some of it is very clearly recency bias, which makes me wonder if the op truly wasn't on here in 2013 or so, but you're telling me you made a list of "tumblr's favorite movies" that doesn't include Pacific Rim or Mad Max: Fury Road? Because, like, I was there, Gandalf.
