#young the giant was great but oh wow the crowd sucked and it was ALL hets #also navigating is so hard and driving on the 75 lane roads is so ridiculous and everyone drives aggressively #sergle.txt #i've never been to such a straight venue before the people were HOSTILE when you try and move through the crowd #and they were hardly dancing / screaming / losing their shit AT ALL #people just standing with their arms at their sides #or even better. the groups who are actually facing AWAY from the stage the whole time to take a series of pics and tiktoks #of themselves at the show. but not actually even looking at the performance #really funny stuff #i have never gotten so many dirty looks lmao #i wish young the giant would come to okc it would've gotten so much rowdier here i promise #you really wouldn't think there'd be any difference in all between texas and OK but over time i have felt.#like ok is friendlier. okc is honestly very faggy also for being a red state #i've been to texas before and the autoheart show was good since it was a small ticketed venue and not a #Music Festival Audience (tm)#i think this being AT a music festival slanted the audience considerably but still. i thought people would be having more fun lol

You know the funny (fucked up) thing is that I think that even if Arin knew about the story of Lloyd and Pythor, he still would have gone with Ras.

It's so easy to think youd know better in those types of situations when you really would not and I think Arin would assume that the situations are so different that it isn't possible he's getting manipulated the exact same way. He doesn't actually like Ras all that much, he just Needs him. He's not some gullible and sad little kid like Lloyd was. He's trying to get back his parents, a much more nobel ambition than petty revenge. He knows better and he's got the whole thing under control.

And its so dramatically ironic because Arin really fucking doesn't have anything under his control right now and I think he knows it.
