my thoughts on david shifting for the first time in front of angel !!

i think that David isn't the type of person to allow his opinion to be swayed by someone he doesn't want it to? so when he says to angel that he's only doing it because otherwise they'll make a fuss over doing it for their next anniversary, i think he's literally just refusing to admit that he wants to take that next step with them and instead uses that as an excuse bc vulnerability for vulnerability's sake?? ew sjsj

like i honestly don't think david would let himself be pressured in that sense but he'd rather have angel think that than know that he actually wants to do this and we see that again when he enjoys being pet but doesn't want angel to feel that sort of control/power over him bc man is so emotionally unavailable !!
