Spr to me feels like a bunch of super cool ideas for characters, backstory, lore, and just a cool idea in general
But trips and splats on the ground when it comes to the execution
To me thats what it all boils down too--
-1xs death was shown off screen, characters got little to no reprimands for their actions, things go blatantly unexplained or mentioned once then never show up again, and the plot holes
Something that always throws me off is the place where everything is
Its all so... squished into one area which, fair; i dont wanna walk for 10 minutes to get to the next chapter-
- but aristris's mansion is super close to the forest; which has a completely different style and not to mention the mesa (spharas location) and harmony haven
Harmony haven is supposed to be a sister city but it feels more like an isolated part of cutout town.
I wish they made it so that the deeper you went into the city the more... old?/steampunk it gets or like they are more guards n stuff
Dont get me wrong i love these places they have SUCH COOL designs, they just feel a bit,,, squished? If you get what im saying
Af1 sorta had this problem (not to the extent spr has it because they feel more... isolated) but af2 kinda solves this by having different worlds, and the explaination for such a diverse amount of them is that their suited to their spesific points wants.
