11) I've been cozied up with a blanket anytime the house gets too cold (like 80% of the time) so I guess that? Bf bought it for me a while ago and it's light enough to carry around the house. 14) I turn 30 in a few weeks but we're not really planning anything afaik jsut another birthday to be disappointed by tbh, uhhhhhhh going to a convention soon-ish, still trying to debate whether or not to cosplay.

Yes!! I remember I got that event by accident when I played the game for the first time and I got so happy 😭 I love that the spelling implies Apollo's sneezes are on the louder side.

An unpopular opinion: The fact I liked the show at all? :B  I think Mini Galbo should have died along with all of Kirby's other friends. It was sort of a cop out when it came back and then NEVER APPEARED AGAIN.

oooo, that's a good question! It would probably be an ice cream parlor. Plenty of good flavors, and just as many bad lol. The employees are burnt out, but still love their job to much to quit.

8 Answered! What are you proudest of? I still got a few weeks to go for this but almost making it to 30, considering I've been convinced I should've died at 17. Pretty neat. Are you a kind person? I want to believe that I am, though my perception of myself is 99% negative so I cannot say for myself. So I guess my best answer is "I try to be".

What song makes you feel better? Lately it's been All the Time in the World [x] just cause it's something to vibe out to. What’s your favorite candle scent? Candles specifically I'm not sure, usually it's something citrus-y or beach-y. Default scents is linen/clean smells. Whats a fabric/texture that’s nostalgic for you? Grass, for obvious reasons. My house back in CO hasn't been able to grow grass and I hardly venture outside so it made me really like/miss the feel of fresh grass a lot more. Fabric probably silk, tho idm that being rare cause I know how it's made lol. Tea, Coffee, or hot cocoa? It's a coin flip between tea and hot chocolate, hot chocolate whenever its cold, tea any other time. Name of your favorite playlist? I mean I just use mine which I just call 'An Ivy Playlist' I've had since spotify's creation but my bf sometimes pulls up the 'A Playlist for Divorced Dads' which had the songs you *know* is on there and I think it's just funny.

how do you take notes? like flashcards for example. I definitely need help with this kind of stuff! btw, my studyblr url is cucumber-studies

Hi! I make flashcards differently depending on how much time I have to memorize them and the type of information I’m memorizing. Sometimes my cards are just terms/definitions, if they’re for vocabulary or math formulas, but sometimes I make summary cards for classes like biology or history. (You can find some lovely examples of summary cards here, here, and here!) They have more information and, like my Latin flashcards, are studied more like traditional notes than like typical flashcards, which are usually ‘drilled’ really quickly over and over again. 

My general notes for class are mostly outlines and flashcards! Sometimes I make summary pages to condense information or I take more visual notes on my iPad to help reinforce certain concepts - usually in science and math. I’m always trying to adjust my system to make it work better for me!

(Later this week I’ll be making a note-taking masterpost as well as one about making flashcards, so watch for that!)

What is your method of highlighting? Like, what do the different colors mean?

Hi! Depends on what I’m highlighting, actually… for flashcards, for example, I don’t usually have a ‘key’ - the colors are there to help me pick out important information, since I tend to lose focus when reading large blocks of text. (Also, I like to use color as a way to motivate myself to look at my notes!! Sounds silly, but it works for me :) )

How long does it take you to make flash cards? It takes me AGES, tips?

Hi! Depending on how many I have to make, it usually takes me at least an hour and a half. Bigger subjects, like science, take me longer - a good 4 or 5 hours, I think. For the Latin cards, I’m doing an extensive review, so it’s going to take me lots of hours spread out over lots of days!! Tips for making them quickly:

- Get all of your supplies in one place before you start. Make sure you have pens/highlighters that don’t smudge or take forever to dry!

- If you’re planning on punching holes in your cards or prepping them some other way, do that before you sit down to make them - this really helps me because if I have a few extra minutes, I can sit down whenever and quickly write out a card or two without worrying about prepping them first.

- Condense your information before you make flashcards so you already know what you’re going to write. (ex. Don’t make them from your textbook, make them from the study guide your teacher gave you or the revision notes you made yourself!)

- If you’re making flashcards with small amounts of information on them (vocabulary for a language class, for example), don’t worry about making them super neat, just make sure you can read them. I only make my flashcards pretty when I have lots of information I need to write down, since I’m actively trying to fit as much on the card as I can.

- Use Quizlet! I use Quizlet constantly, especially when I have large amounts of information that I need to memorize quickly. It’s a free website/app that lets you make online flashcards and then gives you multiple different ways to test yourself. It’s saved my grade more times than I can count, and I’ve used it in every subject!
