Started playing around with Ivygen, with some fun results so far!

Spent way too long on this scene because of lag and slow render times, a streak of mild afternoon fevers that I've been feeling until now, an inefficient workflow and trying to learn Quixel Mixer for texturing the objects. Though I cant say I'm disappointed with the result. This acted like a return to 3d media since me trying to learn to digitally draw and paint has caused me to do 3d modelling significantly less with most of my 3d creations only being quickly made scenes or single objects, It has been a few months since I have made a scene I would classify as "large". When I tried to render the scene, it got estimated at 25+ hours and I rendered for 6 hours only reaching about 17% completion. Decided to use a renderfarm, expected to pay $10+ like with my large scenes though surprisingly they charged only 2$ and rendered it in less than an hour. I guess there was just something with the scene that does not work well with my system along with my laptop being very low spec. I used a large amount of assets here, mostly as textures. Decided to list them all as a sort of credits. I was 14 years old and my mother left us to work as an OFW. Financially,we're okay. But every time I see a complete family, I miss my mother who scolds us. yes,I have a grandmother and relatives, but it's different when your mother is on your side to listen to your problem. The mother is different than the father. To be honest, I did not feel the love of our mother.Many problems have come since he went abroad, problems that will not be forgotten until now. I became independent at the age of 14, I lacked guidance because my mother was not there. It's not good that my mom went abroad for several years. There are many reasons. One of my dad is involved in illegal drinking, gambling. Since my mom went abroad, many problems have come in our life, many of our problems have been solved.If there is enough salary in our country, there is no need to go out. Why go so far that you can't see your family every day? How can you have money if you don't have money and you can't feel the love of your family?I felt there that you are not far away from your family. That time I realized that this is how my mother felt that she was in another country just for her family and that she suffered just for her family.As of now i know why you are in abroad ma even though our past is like that we still love you ma but even though she's far away she makes us feel happy.

Ivygen?

Came from a top secret biotech facility somewhere in outer space on a mission to explore the outer reaches of the universe! (I didn’t come up with this one, this is just canon Protogen lore)

Found Earth, fell in love with its technology, music, nature and people, and decided to stay there!

Fell in love with making/mixing music with use of Humanity’s tech and some of the electronic parts that make up their own body.

Made it into the musical industry as a professional musician and DJ! Hosts their own live sets at events.

Ivygen can make and replicate all sorts of sounds with its vocal modules! It’s best at replicating more digital sounds.

Ivygen’s visor almost never displays eyes (a bit of a reference to how I don’t have the best vision IRL), but it can still see. Eyes are only displayed on his visor when surprised, but only for a split second.

Ivygen is short compared to most other Protogens, but quite huge compared to most humans!

Loves to give hugs. He knows how fluffy and soft and huggable he is <3

Mostly communicates in electronic, animalistic beeps and chirps, but can easily create a voice for themself to speak in English. It usually varies slightly in how it sounds, though.

The panels Ivygen has on their cheeks, shoulders and hips display audio waves that move in sync with any sounds they make and any music they produce/listen to!

LAM Announces New Data Demonstrating High Diagnostic Potential Of Cell-Free DNA Methylation Assay For Early, Non-Invasive Detection Of Liver, Breast And Colorectal Cancers At AACR 2019

IRVINE, Calif., March 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Laboratory for Advanced Medicine (LAM), a commercial-stage medical technology company focused on developing innovative technologies for the early diagnosis of cancers, today announced new data at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The data demonstrate LAM’s proprietary IvyGene Tests possess the ability to detect liver cancer with 95% sensitivity and 97.5% specificity, breast cancer with 89% sensitivity and 96% specificity and colorectal cancer with 93% sensitivity and 100% specificity.

“Early cancer detection is a key advantage for successful treatment,” said Dr. Shu Li, LAM’s Chairman. “Classic screening methods are invasive, costly and time-consuming whereas our tests only require a simple blood sample. Behind this simplicity is a complex technology, developed during years of research at LAM. The early detection of cancer is an unmet medical need, and we believe the potential benefits for society can be enormous.”

Three blinded validation studies were performed to evaluate individual panels of DNA methylation markers developed for the detection of liver, breast or colorectal cancers. By quantifying DNA methylation at the target sites, the cancer-specific markers were able to differentiate with high sensitivity and specificity subjects diagnosed with cancer from both healthy donors and subjects with benign diseases.

The results demonstrate the high diagnostic potential of cfDNA methylation markers isolated from blood for the detection of multiple cancers at various stages. In addition, a quantitative analysis of cfDNA methylation signature provides an opportunity for monitoring the disease. The benefits of a sensitive and specific assay to identify and monitor cancer is anticipated to aid disease management and ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
