while mona was pretty sure there was some sort of general etiquette that people were meant to follow when visiting a library , the sight of jack completely ignoring them for what she assumed was comfort's sake made the sailor senshi smile . she wouldn't have expected anything different from them . that being said , the question took her off guard ; what did sailor venus think made a good superhero name ? ❛ hmm ... something simple that conveys who they without needing some big explanation . ❜ she answered while taking the empty seat by her friend , a copy of ovid's metamorphoses in her delicate hands . ❛ in that case , maybe something to do with change ? with a nice ring to it though . people wouldn't want their fate to be in the hands of , i don't know , the unstableman . ❜

jack had ostensibly come to the library for personal research purposes. considering the personal problem they were researching was their own powers, the 'research' was mostly just flipping through comics and frowning thoughtfully. and gradually shifting in their comfy chair until they were upside down, legs dangling over the back of the chair and head hanging off the seat. "what makes a good superhero name, d'you think?" they asked idly as they noticed someone approach out of the corner of their eye. they flipped to the next page. "it probably helps if you've got a really specific power set, right? i think the more you've got going on, the more abstract you need to get with it."

   Ahhh lol this throws me back to July 2015 when we got the spinny hug trailer. Damn that had us reeling for months and really reinvigorated the fandom. July should be Whouffaldi’s official month lol

God the spinny hug. I always have to tell this story, but that trailer (and SDCC) came out when I was with two of my friends visiting another friend of ours out in Pennsylvania, and we were at Hershey Park dodging a thunderstorm and I was hounding my phone for updates. Then the trailer came out, and we were in line for a ride, and I first had to watch and then put it to my ear to listen, and I was just all sorts of giggly while we were soaking wet. I was MILE HIGH at the spinny hug and one of my friends who is like, aware of my infatuation, was like “what’s that? oh that’s cute” and yeah.

I remember we got the “Deep Breath” title at the very end of June in 2014 and July was a big anticipatory month too...

Yeah okay July is Whouffaldi Month.

Have you seen Jack Jack powers?

Well yesterday I discovered this short movie Jack Jack attack that basically shows the other side that we haven't watched on The Incredibles. Remember when the Parr family and Frozone destroyed all the robots on the city? Well, if you don't remember I'll tell you: after destroy the robots they get in a car with Mr. Incredible friend (that one that is always helping him with him problems, idk if he's lawyer or something but I think you know who I'm talking about.). There Helen listen all the messages and lost calls from the babysitter and that girl says something that make us think that Jack Jack is kinda special. on the short movie we can see what happened while the Parr family was fighting crime and that jack jack's powers isn't nothing new like in the end of the first movie when the villain take him. However his parents and siblings never watched that happening.
