Claire x Reader
Gabey?
Just so you are aware, I’ve categorized these by who the reader’s relationship is focused on. This means that if it is a SamxReader fic, then it will be under the Sam category. There might still be other characters, but they won’t play as big of a role as the central characters- even if the other character is the other brother.
Also, those ~made fancy~ are either gif drabbles, headcannons, or were written for a challenge. Requests are not ~fancified~. Also note that I have not included all of my headcannons. There are so many that it would take way too long to collect them all on my own time, but they can be found by going to my blog’s homepage and searching Headcannon in the search bar:)
—also if ive forgotten a fic then pls let me know bc I’m terrible at these things—

My Angel
Pairing: Jared x daughter!Reader, the entire Supernatural Family
Word Count: 1.8k of pure angst
Warnings: ANGST. ALL THE FREAKING ANGST. swearing, childhood cancer, death of a major character
A/N: Holy shit am I sorry about this one. I actually cried multiple times whilst writing this. This is the fifth, and last fic for Angst Appreciation Day. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me. Also HUGE shoutout to @iputthesininbuisness. They beta’d ALL of my fics for AAD and they probably hate me.
Based off of: Angel by Sarah McLachlan
x
You were surrounded by people.
Your Uncle Jensen and Aunt Danneel and their kids. Your Uncle Misha and Aunt Vicki with their kids. Your dad. Uncle Mark and Aunt Sarah with their children.
You were surrounded by people you love.
Right now, Jensen and his friend Jason Manns were singing your favorite song from their album, Simple Man.
Tears were in everyone’s eyes including your own as you smiled softly to their melody.
Everyone knew this night wouldn’t last forever, you especially. The tumor that had originated in your brain had metastasized to virtually your entire body. It was in your lungs, and bones deeming it as irreparable.
The tumor was killing you, and you were going to die.
From the day you and your father found out that the tumor had spread, the doctors had given you three months to live.
Now, exactly three months later, you were on your last night. Everyone could feel it in the air, even the children who are usually rowdy in the presence of each other were dead silent.
The entire Supernatural family was crammed into the small hospital room. They all wanted to be with you when the time finally came, lord knows you were all there for them.
“Take your time,” Jensen breathed out. He knew this line was the worst possible thing to sing in this situation, “Don’t live too fast.”
The tears forming in Jensen‘s eyes were becoming harder and harder to conceal as the lump in his throat made it hard to sing.
He swallowed as Jason continued strumming, “Troubles will come, and they will pass.”
Misha looked from Jared, to Jensen, to you. Jared watched you intently, the love and worry clear in his eyes. He loved you more than life itself. Misha knew it would kill his best friend when your time came. Jensen sang while Jason played the guitar. It was obvious it was hard for the both of them to not break down and cry. You were laid on your back in the small hospital bed. Jared was at your right side, holding your hand. Your head was turned to the left, your eyes focused on Jensen and Jason. A small smile was playing on your lips.
It took almost all of your strength to turn your head to the side. Jared gave you a soft smile and wiped his eyes of tears.
“I love you, Daddy,” you voice cracked from your dry throat.
The tears that Jared tried to hide came flowing back tenfold, “I love you too, baby. I always will.”
“I’m sorry, Daddy,” you whispered as tears of your own came flowing down your face.
Jared scooted closer to you, a large hand falling on your bald head, “There is nothing you need to be sorry for, Y/N,” Jared said fiercely, “Nothing at all. You are everything I could’ve asked for in a daughter, you understand? I love you more than anything else,” he said.
A tear fell from the corner of your eye, and you nodded. You gave him a weak smile, “Don’t be forever alone, okay?”
Jared raised an eyebrow, “I don’t know what you mean.”
You rolled your eyes, “Find someone, dad,” you said, “You’re not getting any younger,” your voice was raspy, the strain on your vocal chords obvious. “Find yourself a hot lady friend.”
Jared huffed a laugh, “You’re insane.”
“I wonder who I got that from.”
Jared’s tears fell against your hospital gown as he leaned over and kissed your forehead.
“I don’t want to see you for years, you understand?”
The dam broke behind Jared’s eyes, “I don’t think I can wait that long.”
Your eyelids became heavy. You knew the end was drawing near. “Daddy, I‘m scared.”
“I know, honey. I know.”
“Does it hurt?”
Jared shook his head, “Quicker and easier than falling asleep.”
“You’re not Sirius Black; how do you know?”
“Because all the pain that you’re feeling now will be gone. You’ll be in your happy place. You’ll be happy.”
“But I’m happy here. I want to stay here with you guys.”
“I know, baby. But sometimes you need to let go,“ The words Jared was saying almost killed him, but his baby girl was in pain, and she needed relief.
“I love you, Daddy,” you could feel your heart rate slowing, “I love all of you guys,” you tried to say slightly louder so everyone could hear you.
Almost everyone nodded or hummed, they heard you. They know you love them, and you know they love you.
That was all you ever wanted, so you did as your father said.
You let go.
Your body shuddered as you drew in your last breath and released it.
Jared watched as your chest fell. He was waiting for it to rise again, but it never did; it never would. The long drawn out beep from your heart monitor only confirmed his worst fears.
His baby girl was dead.
He took your small, pale hand in his much larger ones, and pressed his forehead to his knuckles as sobs wracked his body.
Danneel pressed her hand to her mouth, trying to contain her own tears. She looked over to her husband to see tears flowing down his face.
Misha’s crestfallen face soon had his own tears sliding down to his chin, not stopping until they got to the collar of his shirt.
The entire room was in tears.
But no one more than Jared.
His entire body shook with the force of his cries.
The only thought running through his head was enough to send him through a downward spiral lasting for years:
My daughter is dead.
Jared sat at the first pew, just staring.
The service had been done with for over an hour, and everyone had left him alone.
He looked at the small casket, the memories flying around in his brain, burning him with nostalgia.
The first time Jared saw you, you were in a baby carrier on his front steps.
There was a piece of paper pinned to your shirt with a name and date scrawled across it.
‘Y/N Padalecki’ it said. ‘07/23/02′
Next to your carrier was a diaper bag filled with clothes, diapers, bottles, formula, and large manila envelope.
Jared took you inside his house and set the carrier down on the kitchen island.
He opened the manila envelope, pulling out its contents.
Inside there were six things.
One, your birth certificate. Two, a paternity test proving that the child in the car seat was his. Three, a picture of the baby next to a woman that Jared vaguely remembered. Four, a letter addressed to Jared. Five, a letter addressed to Y/N Padalecki. Six, signed custody papers from a courthouse in Texas.
Jared opened the letter first. The letter described the night two people met. The two people being Jared and this mystery woman. The letter told Jared that this mystery woman stole a toothpick from Jared’s trailer trashcan and used it later to prove Jared’s paternity. The letter then described the predicament the baby’s mother was in. She is a drug addict and can’t take care of a baby. She grew up in an orphanage, and didn’t want to put her child through the same things, so she dropped the baby off on Jared’s front step. The letter said that there was another letter with Y/N’s name on it, and she wanted Y/N to open it when she turned 18. It was signed by a person named Becca Wilson.
Jared looked from the white college ruled paper filled with black ink, to the sleeping baby in the car seat.
Jared could see the resemblances. You had his nose and hair. Your eyes were not yet open so he couldn’t see the color of your eyes.
Seconds later, your eyes fluttered open, and in an instant, Jared knew that he couldn’t let you go. You had his eyes.
Jared ran a hand down his face. He never regretted his decision to take you in. You were his daughter. No matter what.
Even when you were ten, and the doctor spoke those horrible words, Jared never wanted to let you go.
The doctor knocked on the door. Jared voiced a quiet “Come in.”
Your migraines were getting worse as the days wore on, so Jared finally took you to your pediatrician.
The doctor took off his glasses and rubbed his aged face with his right hand.
“Mr. Padalecki,” he said as he replaced his glasses. “Y/N has a tumor in her brain.”
Jared felt the air being punched out of his gut at those words.
His baby girl had cancer.
He held you close to his chest that night as you slept. After the doctor’s appointment, and scheduling a consultation with a pediatric oncologist, you and Jared went home to watch a marathon of cheesy movies and pig out on ice cream.
That night, as he held your small frame, he cried.
He cried and prayed to a God he’s not sure he believes in to spare your life.
You were the greatest kid Jared knew, and he wasn’t just saying that because you were his daughter.
You were kind and caring and compassionate. You were understanding of Jared’s depression and helped him get through it.
He wanted to walk you down the aisle, and threaten the boys that you brought home. He wanted to protect you for the rest of his life.
Jared buried his face in his hands. “God, Y/N,” he choked out. “I’m so sorry sweetheart. I wish I could have done more to protect you.” His voice broke and he was yet again reduced to tears.
He jumped as he felt a hand land on his back. Through tear filled eyes, he could see his best friend.
Jensen sat down next to Jared. Jared’s body shook as a sob was ripped from his body. Without a second thought, Jensen wrapped his arms around his best friend’s neck, bringing his head to his chest, “It's going to get better,” Jensen found it hard to speak around the lump in his throat. “I promise.”
Years after your death, Jared listened to your words, and found himself a hot lady friend.
Her name is Genevieve Cortese.
Well, Padalecki now.
Jared had three kids with her. Two boys and a little girl.
All throughout their childhood, Jared’s kids knew about their big sister, watching them from Heaven
And when the famous actor and generous man died of old age, you jumped happily into your father’s arms.
“I see you took my advice,” you said with a smile.

It’s Official.
Summary - You are Genevieve’s daughter, she had you before she met Jared but when they met he immediately took you in like a father would.
Characters - Jaredxdaughter!reader, Genxdaughter!reader, Jensenxniece!reader, Danneel x niece!reader.
Warnings - mentions of death, mentions of anxiety, mentions of nightmares, SO MUCH FLUFF, YES THAT IS A WARNING!
It was currently October, you were led in bed thinking about what Christmas gifts you could get everyone. You’ve always been a prepared person and preferred to plan in advance so you didn’t leave anything until last minute.
You sighed as you thought of what to buy your parents, Jared and Gen, Genevieve was your biological mom but Jared wasn’t your biological dad, he was your stepdad, though you only ever saw him as a father as you never knew your biological dad.
You looked over to your bedside table and smiled lightly at the photo of the three at you at Jared and Gen’s wedding, you were nine years old at the time, you were eating a slice of cake when Jared shoved your head into it so you did the same to him, you chuckled lightly at the memory and stood up and left the room.
Walking into the kitchen you smiled at the sight of your younger siblings, you walked over and kissed them on the head “morning, kiddies” you said as Odette reached her hands out towards you, you lifted her out of her seat and started bouncing her on your hip, you turned around and saw Gen making smoothies, “morning, mom” you called, she turned around and smiled she turned the blender back off and poured the smoothie into four cups, “morning, sweetheart” she replied tightening the lids, “how come you’re up so early?” She asked, you shrugged your shoulders and sat on one of the chairs, “I don’t know, I didn’t sleep much last night” you said whilst playing with Odette’s tiny hands, Gen frowned “why? are you not feeling the best?” she asked before placing the back of her hand on your forehead, you laughed, “mom, I feel fine… honestly, I don’t know… just couldn’t sleep”, smiling softly she ruffled your hair slightly and took Odette out of your grip, “okay, well now that your awake you can go get your dad, he’s still asleep and is refusing to get up” she grinned at your reaction, “wait, dad’s home?” you asked excitedly, she nodded her head and laughed as you jumped off the chair and ran up the stairs.
You snuck into your parents bedroom and stifled a laugh at the sight of your dad sprawled out on the bed, you closed the door softly behind you, walked towards the far wall, ran and dived onto him, “WAKEY WAKEY, OLD MAN!” you yelled, he jumped up causing you to roll onto the other side of the bed laughing, he looked down at you, “y/n, you almost gave me a heart attack” he said, you looked at him, “well it woke you up didn’t it?” You asked with a grin, he shook his head and let out a chuckle before lying back down, you sat up “oh come on, you can’t sleep forever, ya know” you said pulling on his arm, you sighed and decided to crawl under the covers because it was cold, “how come you’re awake so early anyway?” He asked with his eyes still closed, you let out a sigh, “I didn’t get much sleep last night” you muttered quietly, Jared lifted his one arm, you shuffled closer and rested your head on his chest. He wrapped his arm around you, “how come you couldn’t sleep, bug?” He asked quietly, you let out a sigh and picked at the cotton on his shirt, “I kept on having nightmares, I woke up from another one at around six and just gave up trying to sleep” you explained, “do you wanna talk about it?” he asked, you quickly shook your head, “okay, lets just try and get some sleep, yeah?” he suggested, you nodded your head and closed your eyes, sleep washing over you straight away.
It was much later on in the day, you and Genevieve were going over to the Ackles’ house, Jared had to pick up Tom and Shep first so he said he’d meet you there.
You walked up the pathway of the Ackles’ residence and knocked twice on the door before opening it, you grinned when you saw Jensen walking towards you, he enveloped you in a hug, “hey, kiddo” he said, you wrapped your arms tightly around him, “hey, uncle J” you replied, your voice slightly muffled by his chest, he then hugged Genevieve. You all walked into the living room, hugging Danneel you sat on the sofa. “Hey, guys? I have an idea of what I wanna get dad for Christmas” you spoke with a small smile, the adults looked at you with raised brows “I just, kinda need your help preparing it… more specifically, mom’s…” you trailed off slightly, “what’s this idea then?” Jensen asked, you begin explaining what you wanted to do, by the end of it the three of them were grinning from ear to ear, with slight tears in their eyes, “so… will you help me?” you asked, they both let out a laugh and nodded their heads, “of course we will, sweetie” your mom said before pulling you into a hug, you smiled and pulled away, “good, because I have no idea where to start” you said with a laugh.
It took a while, but you had the gift ready, wrapped up in a box.
It was currently Christmas eve, you and Jared had a tradition of staying up drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies. You would always fall asleep first so he’d carry you up to your bed, tuck you in and then retreat to his room.
You were both curled up on the couch, A Muppet’s Christmas Carol was playing in the background, your head was leant against his shoulder. “Are you okay?” he asked quietly, “yeah, of course I am… why?” you asked whilst stifling a yawn, “you’ve been a quite today, is everything okay?” he asked again, you smiled lightly and nodded your head, “everything’s fine… I was just tired today, that’s all” you explained before letting out a yawn, Jared chuckled, reached for the remote and turned the television off, “come on, it’s bedtime for you” he said standing up, you huffed as you tumbled down onto the sofa, you lifted your arms up, “carry me?” you asked, he rolled his eyes as he scooped you up, you rested your head against his chest and fell asleep as he made his way up the staircase.
You woke up with a start, you opened your eyes to see your younger brothers jumping up and down, grinning from ear to ear, “Santa’s been, y/n!” Shep yelled, you gasped and sat up, wrapping an arm around each of their waists, dragging them down so they were sat on your lap, “he has? that, my friend, is great news” you said, they wiggled out of your grasp, “come on! We can open presents!” Tom yelled, you let out a chuckle and climbed out of bed, they each grabbed your hands and pulled you out of your room and down the stairs, you were laughing “okay boys, slow down will you” you laughed as they let go and ran toward the tree, you skipped over to Odette who was on the sofa with your parents, you sat next to her, “Merry Christmas, little one” you said in a weird voice making her giggle in delight, Gen wrapped her arms around you, pulling you towards her making you laugh, “what about us, aye?” she asked, Jared starting tickling your stomach, you pushed his hands away laughing, “Merry Christmas to you two as well” you laughed, you stood up and sat with your brothers, opening gifts.
It was later on in the day, the rest of your family had come over but they left, leaving you, your parents and the Ackles. The kids were all upstairs, fast asleep, you were also in your room staring at the box. You could feel the anxiety starting to bubble up, you sighed, picked it up and left your room.
You entered the living room and placed the box in front of Jared, he looked at you in confusion, “yeah, I kinda got you something else… Jensen, Danneel and mom helped with this though” you said whilst you sat next to Jared with your legs underneath you. You looked towards your mom and the Ackles’ who gave you small smiles of encouragement, they all sneaked out their phones and started filming, “go on, open it” you said softly with a small, nervous smile on your face.
You took in a deep breath as he took the lid off, he picked up the small booklet, “turn to the last page” you quickly said with tears gathering in your eyes, he did that “oh my gosh” he muttered, he turned towards you with tears in his eyes, “this… this is serious?” he asked, you nodded your head allowing a few tears to fall, “you’ve always been more than just a step-dad… I’ve never seen you as that, only as my dad… I just wanted to make that official” you explained. Jared looked back down at the adoption papers before placing them down next to him, “come here” he said, opening his arms. You quickly leant forward and wrapped your arms around his neck, both of you crying, he squeezed you tight, “I love you, so much. you got that?” he said quietly, you nodded your head, “I love you too, dad” you choked out, you buried your face into his shoulder.
You pulled away, “so you’re gonna sign it?” you asked, he laughed and nodded his head, “of course I’m gonna sign it” he laughed, your face broke out into a grin as you hugged him again, this time your face being buried into his chest.

one shot request: you're Jareds young daughter and he comes home from filming:) thanks
Word Count: 600
Warnings: none (like ONE swear word)
A/N: sorry if this got up late hon:( I was working on another fic and then this just kind of got pushed aside I feel terrible im so sorry but here it is! Hope you enjoy it 😊
Jared loudly slammed the car door shut, practically running up the steps to his door. He loved acting, and he loved hanging with Jensen and Misha and the others, but he needed to be back. He missed home, missed Gen. Most of all, though, he missed his daughter.
Y/N had just turned three a couple months ago, and could hardly wait to have her back. There were the Skype calls, the texts and video, but they weren’t the same thing. He hadn’t held his little girl in far too long, and it was beginning to get to him. Jared needed to see her.
He didn’t even raise his hand to the door before it swung open, revealing a smiling Genevieve. He reached forward and pulled her close.
“Hey,” he grinned, giving her a kiss. “I missed you.”
“Missed you too,” she said. “How’s work been?”
“Hectic,” he replied honestly. “You know how it is.” He looked behind her.
“Where’s Y/N?”
“I told Y/N that you’re coming back tomorrow so she’d be surprised,” Gen explained. “She’s sitting on the couch right now.” He wrapped an arm around her waist.
“May we?” he asked.
“You do live here, moron.” She rolled her eyes at him. Jared pulled her towards where she said his daughter was, barely able to contain his excitement any longer.
Quietly, he snuck up behind where he saw her head just above the couch colouring something in a book. Kneeling behind the couch, he rested his chin right beside her head.
“Looks good, babygirl,” he commented casually. Y/N whipped her head around, startled. When her eyes landed on him, she froze for a moment.
Then she threw herself on him.
“Daddy!” she screamed, hugging him tight. He stood, holding her fast against his chest. “You’re home early!
“Yeah, Y/N/N,” he looked back at Gen, then to Y/N. “Mommy decided to surprise you.”
“Oh,” she frowned in thought, then grinned broadly. “I like it.”
“I’m glad,” he smiled down at her small figure curled against his chest. “What should we do, now that I’m home?”
“Everything,” she said in all seriousness, running her chubby fingers through his hair.
“Okay,” he laughed. “We can do everything.”
Well, Y/N wasn’t kidding when she said everything.
They spent the day colouring, going outside, playing games around the house, and had simmered down to watching Disney movies in his bed. She curled into his arms, sleepily watching the television screen. Jared glanced over at the clock. It was getting close to Y/N’s bedtime.
“Hey, babygirl,” he shifted her gently, grabbing her attention. “It’s time for bed.”
“’Kay,” she yawned, mouth forming a little ‘o.’ He made to pick her up and put her in her own bed when she whined.
“Sleep here?” she asked, shooting him an exact replica of his own puppy dog eyes. He sighed in defeat.
“Alright,” he conceded. She smiled sleepily, twisting the fabric of his shirt in one hand. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, gently brushing the hair away from her face. “I love you.”
“I love you too, Daddy,” she mumbled. After a minute, he felt her breathing becoming more regular and shallow. After a while, he followed suit, holding her fast against his chest.
Gen walked in on them like this, Jared’s body curled up protectively against Y/N’s. She smiled softly. Taking out her phone, she snapped a couple of pictures of the two.
“You two are too damn adorable,” she muttered, flicking off the lights for them. It didn’t look like either of them would be going anywhere for a while.
