I may use this grid while meditating for the purpose of a variety of dreamwork methods. I may choose it due to uncertainty about what support I need or because of the overwhelming emotion involved.

Another option would be to place the grid on my nightstand and attend to it daily, particularly during periods of increased nightmares or stressful life situations. This helps to create a calming and supportive environment.

For this grid, I've chosen a red jasper point as the focal stone for its grounding properties and endurance. Bloodstone and chevron amethyst serve as way stones, enhancing energy flow with patience and clarity. Blue kyanite acts as the desire stone, reinforcing the grid's purpose to facilitate truthful communication and absorb negative energy.

finished the Henry danger movie and it had its moments mostly with Henry and jasper but the end of the movie was very unsatisfying and I know Henry has never been the most perfect friend but he just felt so ooc and assholeish in this movie and it never really gets resolved. the silliness was completely gone almost and jasper's personality was sanitized except for his obsession/loyalty to henry, which henry didnt even get to react to or acknowledge that much in a way he would have done in the OS because he was too busy mewing and standing there looking attractive. I think this ending for Henry danger as a whole is unsatisfying with Henry saying "I lost my whole childhood to being kid danger, I dont want to be captain man" and then leaving swellview to just become. captain man 2 but not. hes still a superhero he just didnt take over for swellview. I thought that the arc between jasper and Henry was going to end with Henry realizing how much he needs jasper and how theyve been friends for years and years and hes been a shitty one and that jasper deserves to be treated better by him but instead it just had Henry give jasper the torch to protect dystopia when jasper never wanted to be the big hero he just wanted to be equals with henry. and then its treated as a satisfying ending for jasper and Henry to separate for them both to be superheroes

hot take but we as a society need to be more comfortable about discussing "icky" parts of history, and even telling the side of the "bad guys"

history is written by the victors, and will be heavily biased. The defeated will be painted as evil, deviants and/or like they have always been "the bad guys".

Reducing people to "the bad guys" does a huge disservice to the opportunity of learning from the past, because it creates a distance between the modern reader and the actual events, it creates the comfortable position of "I'm not like the bad guys, so i will never make their mistakes"

I think is important we understand how and why people believed in something, and where did things turn a certain way. Yes. Even "the wrong side". Even the nazis. Even those people you are thinking about, whoever they are.

Because you are not immune to propaganda and it's so so so so important to understand what happened and how did we get to those points before we fall to the same techniques again and again.

"Learning from the past" isn't deleting the ugly parts or cringing when someone brings up war. Thinking otherwise is a huge mistake and precisely what someone who wants to make the same mistakes wants you to think.

I didn't talk about this in my big post about frank's awkward and potentially toxic relationship to his masculinity (you don't need to go read it but this post might not make as much sense without it) but I do think it's significant that leo has his comment about the prophecy 7 wanted posters where he's like "I know I'm not worth as much as a percy or a jason but am I worth at least like... two franks?" and frank is genuinely upset about it. and who wouldn't be upset about a joke like that but this line specifically evaluates frank as the most worthless man among his prophecy 7 peers (leo didn't include the women in his comment). and we know that in son frank was struggling with being a man in the way that his grandmother + his father + camp jupiter + frank himself wants him to be and he was already struggling with feeling like a useful member of the crew in moa so this joke from leo is just adding onto all of that

so for frank to then go on his lil adventure with hazel and nico in hoh and have lines like "being with hazel and pretending to be her bodyguard made him feel needed and useful" is just... like it's understandable but it's also a little yucky right? I don't think it would be reading too much into this to surmise that feeling needed by a woman and putting himself in a protective role over her is what helps frank to mend his wounded pride shortly after leo's emasculating comment. it's such a heavily gendered and heterotypical interaction. like the inverse of this would be hazel liking that frank is so much bigger than her and protecting her and how that makes her feel so small and femme or whatever lol

and this isn't frank hate or even frazel hate btw I'm crazy about them. but it just makes me sad that this is what happens to frank in hoh. he starts off the book upset that he's basically on the bottom of the male demigod totem pole or whatever and so this interaction with hazel helps him feel like more of a man. then he has his knight in shining armor hazel rescue moment. and then he gets to be even more of a manly man guy when his father "rewards" him with the blessing of mars and now he's just the most ripped masculine man guy of them all. like... okay. is that a good thing??? is that a good ending????? because it just has an unpleasant undertone to me. idk I'm not a man or whatever but that's just my two cents. again not frank hate I just can't help but side-eye rick's messaging here

I might be projecting because my love language is gift giving and I am the kind of person who needs every detail of my life planned down the second and even my routines have routines but-

I have so much pity for Jasper. Like, don't get me wrong, he's got a great family and his wife is the fucking best thing since sliced bread, but she can see the FUTURE. imagine him trying to plan something special for their anniversary, a trip abroad or something, a wonderful surprise. First of all, he can't even decide until the very last second because he wants to keep it a surprise, which is already impossible, but then, THEN. He books the tickets and before he can even tell Alice what he's planned, she's packed their bags and figured out the itinerary and has already experienced the whole trip in her head and is already telling Jasper how great it will be and how much they will love it and how much nasty back-breaking sex they will have at every opportunity. He would love it, I'm sure, and loves her power and her having total control over him but!!! This poor man can't even plan anything special for his wife because she sees it happening before he does it!! Every gift is left to the last minute, and every experience has to be spontaneous, I don't know why he even tries honestly. That's why Alice is in charge I suppose

(I say this all in jest, I love Alice and her ability and that's probably one of the things Jasper loves most about her but. Imagine the suffering)

Jasper having to go along with any and all schemes he gets roped into is such a goldmine for comedy. It’s so great. I don’t feel the least bit bad for him; it’s like a delicious extra layer of karma. Like, sure sure we can argue that his empathy superpower is karmic justice being served against him, but him being reduced to a standing lamp who sometimes gets plucked out of Alice’s accessory pile to be promoted to Bag-Holding Arm Candy is absolutely incredible.

Listing out his trauma/problems just gets funnier the longer you go on because his problems range from "horrifying appearance that terrifies other vampires no matter what" to "wife has never once taken his advice". He’s a vampire who is hardwired to kill because murder = survival but he has an honest-to-god eating disorder because he feels the suffering of all his victims. He’s a two-time veteran where he was nothing more than a body tasked with inflicting violence on opposing forces to retain power and control over others but he’s married into a family of pacifists who like to play human in a world where being found out by said humans can and will get you killed by the vampire mafia. He has dogshit willpower but he has to sit through high school English classes with depressed/horny teenagers over and over again for appearance’s sake. He's a bulletproof immortal struggling to get a good grade in Being Good because of his ingrained ruthlessness and he will never once surprise his wife with an anniversary present because she’s a bratty, meddling little psychic.

I agree with your entire assessment here but I also laugh so hard when people try to woobify Jasper or be like “poor baby” because as a Jasper stan I love seeing this bitch suffer. Jasper will never know a moments peace no matter what happens to him and I can't help but point and laugh at his misfortune ♡
