Happy birthday to Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and happy Ghost Swap week!

This first prompt is "Jeego/Rindge and Tengo/Memry roleswap. Nationalityswap optional" for anonymous!

I decided to do a little comic for Jeego and Tengo,

and did matching character sheets for Rindge and Memry!

tbh im not fully happy with the comic. im just not built for multiple character illustrations. i really enjoyed the first jeego, hes so chill and normal. after that my brain just like checked out or something lol.

rindge was the first one i drew, mostly because i knew hed be easy lol. i havent actually drawn him before, but i knew from experience that his face and outfit would be a fun breeze. i decided to give him jeego's ominous eye shadows, otherwise he just looks too regular.

memry was second. im not stoked about her face, but those freckles are so cute i agh i love drawign freckles theyre so. the hair on the portrait looks a bit mid, but on the full body i got it down pat. id also like to draw attention to the portait's tie and collar. thats peak cinema there.

anyways thaks for reading allat. heres a bonus jeego for you are patience. i didnt want to include it in the main post bc theres no full body, and no tengo to accompany, but jeego looks great in rindge's fit.

just got hit with a vision of a ghost trick-ace attorney timeline convergence crossover opening scene. thing.

we open on 9-year-old miles edgeworth inside an elevator. he's just woken up. he's disoriented. the whole lift is eclipsed by darkness; he can only silhouettes and vague shapes. there's a body slumped on the ground next to him. doesn't look familiar. must be the bailiff. where's his father? he looks up and sees someone propped on the other side of the lift. he can't make his face out, but there's the shape of a broad-brimmed hat around the figure's head. relief floods him. miles stands to go to the figure, but just as he's about take the first step forwards, the lights come on. miles stops in his tracks. that isn't his father.

the camera pans to the other side of the lift, and the audience sees...

The bartender places a glass in front of me.

"Your Salty Dog."

The world... is an ugly mess. It's full of things best ignored or overlooked. That's why I engage in this small act of resistance:

I will never get a pair of glasses. And I will certainly never wear one.

The world... is an ugly mess. And if you're not wearing a glasses, there's a lot you don't have to see. My colleagues call me "Nearsighted Jeego." Not that I mind. I have no problem with it.

But also...

That's why the world... is an ugly, blurry mess.

The bartender places a glass in front of me.

"Your dry martini."

I look over at the musical instrument case on the stool next to me. Inside it, my little golden friend is fast asleep. The job tonight... is at a junkyard on the outskirts of town. Pros go where the work is, no matter how smelly.

My heart rate increases steadily.

It's just about time.

I lift one hand ever so slightly and signal to the bartender. He nods, just as slightly. No words wasted.

I like this place. Think I'll drop in on my way home.

The bartender places a slip of paper in front of me.

"Your check."

I look at the bill.

.........

It's so blurry I can't read it.

"How much is it?"

...Seems I've run up quite the tab. That's what I get for ordering without being able to see the prices.

Life can be a real pain when the world is an ugly, blurry mess.

...Alright.

I'll get some glasses.

As soon as I finish this job... I'm going to get myself a pair.

The thought flashes through my mind.

I grab the case beside me and leave the establishment.

Time for work, and for the curtain to rise.
