I got the Gothic Whore slot in the Chonny Jash Fanzine, and decided to do a piece off Monster Mash(Encore) both because I wanted to draw all of them, and because it's one of my favorites from the album :>

Idk why, but as I was listening to The Mr. Hyde jive, I kept thinking of the part where Hyde is talking about kicking an old guy. And thinking more on it made funnier in my head.

So that's why this was made.

I have not drawn this man as much. Only like...three times? But yay. (Imma just refer to him as The Narrator or Chonny for the time.

And his tie colors are in order of the songs colors. Yay.)

And as that thing I said I was making, had progress to the first few sketches/lining/coloring, testing stuff. Annnnd I was enjoying it... until I wasn't. And that made me think, I should make this easier for me. (It was nice to try something unfamiliar yet hard.)

Though I feel that whether I take a few hours (like this animatic) or days (which I wrote down), that it needs to be fun. Or at least enjoyable enough. So that's going on hold for now, still have the thing planned. But wanna do it comfortably and not get frustrated.

i do not think there's a hierarchy of JaH readings and interpretations. i do not care if you think jekyll and hyde are different guys or not! i think seemingly different interpretations can even exist in the same reading.

to me, there's no wrong way of reading into it as long as ur having a joyous time

Come to think of it, why are you two together in the afterlife? Isn’t each of you one half of a soul split from the other? I knew you would be stuck together for as long as you were alive cause. Both of you were housed in the same brain. But after your death. You should not be attached to one another.

Apologies for the late response , we were out. I'm not sure how it works, to be honest. I also prayed that we would be separated, but then again as a religious man, I believed that the good side would go to heaven, and the evil to hell. However, since we ended up in purgatory, the separation must've not worked properly.
