I am bit more skeptical about Ludovika's totally openness with her grandchildren. since those grandchildren were writing their books to make a profit rather than historical accuracy. Those grandkids might have learned those juicy stories like her husband's indiscretions from reading her correspondences after she died or speaking with a gossipy lady-in-waiting, but they'd probably sounded more interesting if those family scandals were coming directly from Ludovika's mouth?

Hi! I don't really agree with you, mainly because the only grandchild who wrote books to make profit was Marie Larisch - and she barely talks about her grandmother in them.

The grandchild who recorded most of Ludovika's anecdotes we now have was Amélie in Bavaria, Karl Theodor's eldest daughter. But these memoirs, written in 1902, were not meant for publication. The first historian to use them as a source was Richard Sexau in his biography of Karl Theodor. He made a copy of Amélie's manuscript, which was later used by Brigitte Hamann as a source in her biography of Elisabeth. Only in 2020 historian Christian Sepp found the original manuscript, and published it in 2021.

Does this mean that Amélie's memoirs are a 100% trustable source? Of course not, but making profit was not her goal when writing them. This is why historians usually trust her word in things such as the fact that Ludovika was very open with all his children and grandchildren.

Sexau also seems to have talked with Albert of Thurn und Taxis, Helene's son, and he explicitely talked about Duke Max's infidelities as I already mentioned in this post. But we don't know how he knew this - maybe from his own grandmother, maybe from reading letters. We can't know.

If any other grandchild left any record of their grandmother's words, it hasn't been used as a source yet.

Angel's other alt mode, a feathered serpent based on Quetzelcoatl!

Angel doesn't use this alt mode as much as her mailbox form, despite this one giving her greater mobility. Her serpent form stands out way too much and makes her an easier target when she would prefer to hide or flee from battle. Like in root form, Angel doesn't have many weapons at her disposal. But she can charge up and fire a blast of energy when she feels the need to. The blast itself can peirce through thin metals and adds in a shockwave to push the opponent far away. However, it takes a long time to charge up (like at least a full minute) and it uses up a ton of Angel's own energy to use. She often has to take a stasis nap immediately after just to recover.

Angel will use her serpent form around bots she feels the safest with. Even draping herself around their neck and shoulders like a big scarf. The only autobot she'll do this around is Ratchet, taking naps on his shoulders while he's typing up notes and such. The only decepticon she'd trust would likely be Soundwave. He'd probably treat her similarly to his cassette bots.
