hii! i’m so sorry i’m doing this incredibly late but I hope you’re still around and that it’s okay 😅 These are some of my hcs for the members as littles, this is kinda in my own au/world for them in my head so if you wanted something else specifically or more pls lmk!

shinee agere headcanons!

Jinki:

jinki would regress around 4-7

his favorite cg would be jonghyun ^_^ they get along really well and jjong is super gentle and loving with him.

he prefers when its quiet, he has his moments when he can be bouncing off the walls but he’s usually really calm and the loudness/chaos of the other members or things around him will sometimes overwhelm him but he still loves to be included even if its from the side :]

he loves music. like sooo much. he’ll have jonghyun play the piano for him while he sits on the floor next to it or he always has his headphones on to listen to music. He doesn’t really listen to many songs with lyrics bc he prefers listening to instrumentals instead. he tells jonghyun that they make his head feel smiley.

jinki prefers to read the books in his room (that jjong and minho got him for his birthday) but when he watches tv shows his favorites would be pororo the little penguin and max & ruby.

when he gets really anxious or overwhelmed he has a dinosaur plush he brings around with him that jjong got him one day.

very big napper. the members will wonder where he is sometimes and every time they check on him he has dozed off and is drooling a bit on whatever his head is laid on. jongtae have lots of pictures of him in their phones :3

Jonghyun:

normally is around 3-8

when he’s regressed he’s a lot more chaotic/very active

all the members kind of take care of him equally but his favorite cg is minho :3 he’s very good at helping jjong get his energy out by playing or taking him out to do fun stuff

he likes jinki a lot too because he’ll read him stories or sing songs with him. jinki also will let him eat candy sometimes and he thinks that makes him godlike

speaking of singing— that boy is a karaoke monster when they put music on the tv in the living room. its super cute but he gets super sad/will throw a tantrum if it has to get turned off… it’s usually okay tho because he gets tired fast and will calm down after a nap with jinki

he loves dogs, he’ll beg minho to take him to keys house to see commedes and garçon and is always following roo around. taemin got him a puppy keychain one year and he attaches it to every pair of pants he wears.

when he’s really upset or having a bad day he doesn’t really want to be around anyone so the members let him stay in his room with the door open and the things he usually likes and will check on him a bunch— and he’ll show up in one of the members rooms at night to sleep because he has nightmares

Kibum:

he probably is the smallest around 2-5

never really has a set cg but he’s super attached to taemin. like wont leave his side almost.

loves to color a lot :D he has like boxes filled of finished coloring books in his closet. sometimes he likes to draw too but he prefers just coloring things

his favorite thing to do is watch tv. he can sit in front of the tv for days if you let him. taemin gets stuck sitting on the couch watching everything he does and jonghyun makes fun of him for it lol

he’s very easily irritated and will throw tantrums a lot if something or someone is bothering him and it’ll take a while for him to calm down again

quite literally will only eat cereal…they can barely get him to eat anything else and even if they do he will want cereal right after anyways.

he struggles with going to the bathroom just because of how fixated he gets on stuff so he has to be reminded and needs help to go to the bathroom every other hour. he’ll wear diapers but he gets really embarrassed

Minho:

minho is probably the oldest between 6-10

plays a lot with jjong and taemin and is really competitive but jinki always takes care of him the most ^^

he likes going outside a lot and is the king of the local playground but will also enjoy playing sports videogames at home a lot (jinki shuts off the internet so he cant play online bc stranger danger)

because of how energetic he is, he doesn’t really understand when to stop or when to take a break and ends up hurting himself on accident a lot.

he’s really obsessed with spongebob and almost all his shirts have the lovely spongeguy on it. he also has a collection of spongebob toys he keeps on his nightstand and will bring one with him in his bag everywhere he goes because he says it protects him

is a juice monster— all he drinks is pineapple juice

he also gets scared to sleep at night because of nightmares but instead of going to another members room he’ll move from his bed to the floor or take his pillows and blanket to sleep in his closet bc he thinks he’s too old to sleep w/ someone else :(

Taemin:

similar to jinki, 4-8

he is almost as attached to key as key is to him when he’s little but he pretty much just thinks of jinki and key as his dads and wont leave their side

he’s really awkward but also super confident in the sense that even if he’s rambling about something he likes to someone and it makes no sense, he’ll act like he just recited shakespeare

doesn’t like loud noises but can do anything in the world if he had headphones on or earplugs

usually fights with jonghyun for the tv bc he wants to play regular music to dance around to but jjong wants to do his karaoke so they will get upset quickly

thats why onho decided to make them have a specific turn routine so even if they get upset, they’re less upset than they used to be over it

taem doesn’t like wearing socks or shoes. he’ll throw a fit if he has to and only will wear them if they’re going out and key gives him candy. it’s mostly a sensory thing but he also just doesn’t like the idea of having something tightly wrapped around a part of his body

despite getting stuck to watch things with key when he’s big, he loves watching tv when he’s little as well but he thinks the tv is too big and prefers watching stuff on his ipad. very ipad kid

i read why you aren't writing for shinee/kibum rn, but why do you still write for jonghyun?? it feels wrong to read about him when it feels like he should be put to rest (in a literal sense) so is there a reason you still do works and requests for him?? ive noticed some other people also decide to write for him still, so this may help me understand that as well

Sorry but this will kinda long to explain 😅 just saying before I start that in no way shape or form is this meant to come off as rude btw🩷

So, to start off; blingers are still extremely active, just like the rest of shawols. Taemints, lockets, MVPs, and flamers, can read fanfics of their bias, they can easily find hc’s for Taemin, Minho, Kibum, or Jinki, but blingers can’t. It’s completely unfair to say that just because he is no longer with us, we shouldn’t still enjoy his content, his music, fanfics, and fanart. Also, I’ve been a shawol for almost two years now and as a taemint/blinger, I want to see people still loving Jonghyun and being able to think of him happily. Talking about him isn’t sad, remembering him isn’t bad, he’s a lot more than just that moment, so writing for him is normal.

Also, I did let people vote to see if anyone would be made uncomfortable by seeing smut written of him and the majority said no, not only did the majority say no but I even got messages from older shawols saying that they’d love to see it. I haven’t posted for SHINee in a while because of my writers block, but I still get asks for him. People want to see it and I like doing it.

And finally, he’s still apart of SHINee. The members themselves constantly acknowledge that SHINee is five, they constantly mention him, from tagging him in their concert posts, talking about him, making jokes about him, and he’s always included in every SHINee event. So, for me and others who also write for him and who are still active blingers it’s just including all the members because at the end of the day, SHINee will be five no matter how long it’s been. Saying that he should be put to rest kinda sounds like you mean that people should just move on and forget him, but it would be a shame to let all of his amazing music fade into nothing. Micheal Jackson still has active fans who listen to his music, draw him, write fan fictions about him, edit him, and make the most downbad tweets about him I’ve ever seen. The fans will be there no matter where the artist goes, and Jonghyun is the same way. No matter if he’s here or not, we as fans will always be here enjoying his music and loving him. Remembering him and enjoying his music isn’t disturbing the rest and the peace he’s getting, it’s just appreciating and love him.

mainly a girl group stan, but has his few boy group exceptions

not an agency stan, although he coincidentally likes a lot of SM groups

vocals are more important to him than anything else (hence him liking SM groups) and he loves watching dm killing voice because of that

SHINee Hogwarts AU

Lee Jinki (Onew) - Gryffindor

headcanon under the cut

When Jinki sat under the sorting hat he was sure that the hat was going to tell him there was some kind of mistake and send him back to the muggle world. He had spent the whole train ride with a small and talkative boy who explained each of the houses and what they stood for. By the time they made it to the front gates, Jinki knew he didn’t belong in any of them. However, if Jinki really was a wizard, he was hoping to be sorted into Hufflepuff; at least everyone in the house seemed to be kind and welcoming. Or even better the hat would sort him into the same house as his new friend, Jonghyun.

Of course neither of those things happened. The hat had decided to throw him to the wolves, or well, in this case, the lions. 

Midway through first year Jinki was ready to give up and head back to the muggle world. Not only was he struggling with his coursework but his actual practice of magic was downright embarrassing. It took him a week and hours of extra practice just to be able to lift a feather, while Jonghyun got it on the third try. And then there was potions class, which was the bane of his existence. He was always accidentally knocking things over or dropping things into his cauldron. This lead to several times where the students had to evacuate the room in fear of his mistake exploding. Jinki became very familiar with scrubbing spell residue off of the potions room’s ceiling. 

Jinki makes it through his first year by the skin of his teeth. “Will you be back next year?” Jonghyun had asked him on the train home. Jinki didn’t have an answer for him and they parted ways for the summer, unsure if they would meet again.

Jinki does return for his second year at Hogwarts and when he opens the door to Jonghyun’s compartment on the train, he is pulled into a big hug. “You came back!” / “Well, if the first year didn’t kill me, how much worse can the second year really be?” / “You’re really brave.” Jonghyun whispers to him. Jinki hugs him a little tighter and thinks for the first time that maybe he was in the right house. 

After settling into the compartment, Jonghyun introduces him to his childhood friend Kim Kibum who is now a first year. Kibum doesn’t seem to be too thrilled with Jinki at first, only giving him short answers and passive aggressive comments. 

It takes a few weeks and a mishap in the potions room followed by a trip to the hospital wing. But Kibum is with a new scar above his eye and a new friend. 

Jinki finds solace in the Hogwarts library during second year. Each book was a new adventure that offered him different and exciting information or experiences. You definitely won’t find a book that talks to you or a book on the diet of unicorns in a muggle library. He becomes a frequent visitor to the library and during his fifth year, the librarian slips him the key to the redistricted section after having him swear not to tell anyone or leave the library with any of the books. Jinki makes good use of that key in his final years at school.

It’s also in his second year when he is strolling outside that a first year crashes into him on a broom. The crash leaves Jinki with a broken wrist and a very distort boy named Minho. Minho apologizes the whole way to the hospital wing and even sits with Jinki as they wait for the potion he drank to fix his bones. After a few hours, Jinki has a healed wrist and a new friend.

Why does he keep making friends after trips to the hospital wing? 

Third year arrives before he knows it and with it, the last addition to their little ragtag group of friends. The first time he meets Lee Taemin is when Kibum brings him to the game night they have every Thursday in the room of requirement. The baby faced first year is shy and silent for the first hour, but after learning that Jinki is also a muggle born he starts to come out of his shell. When they leave the room of requirement in the early hours of the morning, it feels like the five of them have been friends forever.

Jinki’s confidence slowly starts to build over the years at Hogwarts. Part of it has to do with his four pillars of support, but a large part of his growth was by his own hard work and determination. He may still not have the best grades, but by the time he graduates he has one of the strongest and calmest magical cores in his year.

In his fifth year, Jinki becomes a Perfect and although it’s a lot of extra responsibilities and stress, he loves it. He’s a perfect Perfect too; many students come to him for his advice and soft words of encouragement. 

Sometimes first years will stop him in the corridors just to ask him to smile for them. They tell him his smile gives them the strength to take on the day.

When things go horribly wrong in Jinki’s sixth year, everyone turns to him to lead them. Jinki nearly chokes with the pressure of holding the lives of his closest friends in his hands. There were a few close calls and not everyone walked away unaffected, but at the end of it they were alive and they were safe.

In Jinki’s last year at Hogwarts, he is awarded Head Boy and the five of them have a small celebration for him in the room of requirement. Jonghyun gets emotional and teary eyed over the fact that it’s their last year at Hogwarts. Kibum complains about how sensitive Jonghyun is, even though he, himself is trying to hide the tears in his eyes. Minho tries to cheer the two of them up by promising that they’ll still have game night every month. Taemin is giggling behind the butterbeer he shouldn’t be drinking but who is gonna tell him no?  And Jinki, he is contently watching his friends while thinking about just how happy he is that he choose not to give up on Hogwarts.

kaeya is flirty and confident. i can see him being overly suggestive at all the wrong times and with his khaenri’ah lore from the caribert quest he keeps up this elusive mysterious front that isn’t as obvious as cold/hard-fronted characters like diluc, alhaitham, etc. (maybe it’s the lack of lore making him mysterious, looking at you hoyo.) and not gonna lie, i’ve had this song on repeat since it dropped!

diluc has no intentions of dating, courting nor friendships so i can feel that when he does he’s in it for the long haul. it’s like a poison to him to have people so close but then he flips one day thinking he’s too dangerous and he’ll get them hurt. for this he needs an angsty song and i’m gonna give him my ult group (this definitely not bias because he’s my current main)

fear — seventeen

albedo is sort of like diluc in the way that he probably has zero intentions of dating. friendships? meh, okay so long as you don’t distract his research too much. he’s work orientated and because of that i think he’s coded to be a ballads man. he’s always up in dragonspine by himself too and i think he’s just very in need of human touch honestly. he 100% sits and hums soft, slow songs when he’s alone, working and the blizzard is harsh outside of his camp.

lonely — jonghyun, taeyeon

venti… aah, our favourite alcoholic bard archon. i genuinely don’t know if i want to base his song after his joyful - albeit sometimes annoying - persona or his trauma. i’m gonna mix it up a little. i think the bubbly front he puts up definitely masks that trauma and potentially guilty conscience but it also masks an archon who craves his followers - i’m talking yandere crave. he is the weakest archon amongst the seven and he doesn’t entirely want to rule but i guarantee he is a complete psycho behind the scenes. so venti even murmuring the line “i want you to cry, cry for me” has me sobbing and on my knees especially if he was saying it to like a devotee turned lover. (the bubbly part is that it’s twice and he is so coded to do the cheer up choreo when diluc is particularly mourning his father.)

despite being told not to bring anything, jonghyun and his brother showed up with arms full of presents anyway, matching grins on their faces as haneul squeals in delight and hoseok rubs at the back of his neck, embarrassed at being clearly one-upped; although haneul reassured him that she has it all covered, he definitely worries that their dinner and two hastily-wrapped gifts wouldn't be enough. hoseok was sort of under the impression that if he told jonghyun not to worry about gifts then they wouldn't have to worry about them either -- but of course they didn't listen anyway. judging from haneul's over-the-top reaction, he's guessing that she wasn't expecting them to go so all-out either.

but he smiles, giving both boys a one-armed hug and stepping to the side to let them in. they're only here for dinner and a brief gift exchange, because the kim brothers have other things to do ( more friends to see ) but haneul had insisted that they visit for at least an hour or two. at first, it was just 'stop by for baileys hot chocolate' but soon enough it blew up into a whole ordeal, haneul working some magic in the kitchen ( with hoseok's assistance ) and he's left wondering what the heck he should be doing to earn a dinner this good on a regular day. 

although he supposes, if he could choose anyone to treat like this it’d be the kim brothers; he doesn't know much about the two yet but he does know that haneul adores them, the older one especially. one would expect hoseok to get jealous, but he's not, really. maybe he was at first, just a little, but now he's just glad to see that haneul has someone else she wants to trust. he was glad to be introduced to him a few months ago. he he knows how hard it is for her to make friends, when she's normally the somewhat serious and introverted one at school; he likes that it makes her happy to see them all together. as he follows after the other three, he makes a note to try to get to know them more.

and then there’s jonghyun -- a kid, hoseok decided soon after meeting him. hoseok is reminded of this when he watches jonghyun react to the sight of dinner, clapping and cheering. he’s almost surprised by how he acts sometimes -- at first sight he would’ve pegged him as someone more serious. although that air of responsibility is still there, he’s definitely more childish than hoseok expected. and he lives up to that every time he sees him -- for example, today he nearly runs straight into the table before his brother steps in, holding him back. it makes haneul laugh, and even hoseok smiles a little.

this is such a hallmark moment. gross, he thinks, but even the voice in his head speaks fondly. he's not really used to this -- sure, his time with haneul has been filled with cheesy moments on their own but he isn't used to actually sharing it with anyone else. for so long, it's been just he and his girl against the world -- he wasn't really prepared to let others into his life, especially when it's at haneul's will and not his. 

but maybe it's time. if haneul can open up to them like this, if she's this eager to have them all be great friends then he should too, right? it wouldn't be fair for her to put in this effort just for him to flop on her. so he'll try his best. 

he catches her eye from where she’s sitting at the table, and he must've had a particularly pensive look on his face because he sees slightly furrowed brows, a hint of worry in her eyes. he shakes his head and gives her what he hopes is a reassuring look -- and, after a moment, he steps back and turns on his heel, pulling out his cell phone. "everyone look alive," he says, hoisting his phone right before smiling as he snaps a selfie. 

he glances at the screen as he slips his phone back into his pocket. jonghyun looks fairly goofy, with food half in his mouth, his brother smiling politely while haneul looks brighter than hoseok has seen her in months. "cute.”

he's not usually this sentimental. it's just for her, is his first thought. of course it is -- but right after he realizes that's not quite true. 

the others resume their conversation as hoseok slips into his spot at the table, and he feels some kind of emotion doing funny things to his insides. happiness? maybe, but not quite; it's more like anticipation, the sort of anxiety that comes with knowing that something good is coming your way while the potential of messing it up somehow is right there, too. 

he wants to make friends. he really does. especially if it would make haneul smile like this more often -- it's worth it. if he has to put his wariness and social exhaustion aside to do it, he will, at least for this one night. 

"hey jonghyunnie, pass me the salt?" he hopes they can stay for a while.

he only ever gets in the play fighting mood whenever he’s tired. 

like, out of his mind tired. the kind of tired where he’s utterly exhausted, but suddenly feels like he can take on the world.

you will be lying in bed one night, waiting for him to come home, just like you always do. 

the door will open, and he’ll be standing there with that lazy smile on his face, cheeks flushed red because that’s just how Onew is.

you’ll set your book down, or your phone down, or whatever it is you were doing before hand, get ready to greet him with a hug-

whenever he’s suddenly diving towards the end of the bed, grabbing your feet and dragging you towards him.

the bed sheets scrunch up around you as you shriek and try to get out of his grip, but he isn’t giving up. he’ll flop onto the bed beside you and just start tickling you mercilessly.

this always ends up with you trying to hit him with a pillow and him dodging your every move. his hands are firm on your hips, and he’s laughing - the man hasn’t even said hello to you yet!

as the tickling ceases, he’ll decide to simply toss you over his shoulder and spin you around for a bit before he’s flopping back onto the bed and gathering you into his arms, the exhaustion finally catching up to him.

there will be no explanation for his sudden playful outburst - he’s usually asleep before you have a chance to ask.

Key:

oof literally, any time he just wants to randomly square up, he’s doing it.

it doesn’t matter where you both are or what you’re doing - if he suddenly gets a spike of energy, there is no knocking off his advances.

his style of play fighting is jokingly rough, as i like to call it.

where he pretends he’s some kind of WWE fighter, but he’s actually very gentle.

his play fighting consists of a lot of lifting and pretend cheering.

for example, his all time favourite thing to do is sneak up behind you and lift you up over his shoulder when you’re least expecting it, before slamming you down on the bed in a pretend RKO.

and then he’ll leap up with his arms in the air, pretending a crowd is cheering for him.

you’ll try and kick him, but he catches your leg and rolls you over, pretending to keep you in a leg lock. you’ll be giggling, trying to writher away from him, but he’s just having so much fun.

sometimes, when you’re cooking dinner, he’ll come up behind you and wrap his arms around your shoulders before gently tugging on your head, saying “RKO!” in your ear before he lets go and casually asks what’s for dinner.

honestly, it’s just little tiny moments in which he feels like he can’t help himself.

Minho:

he only ever really play fights whenever you’re being particularly needy that day.

you would have to initiate it.

like when he’s working really late, and you come and visit him. all you want is for him to come to bed so he’s not exhausted the next day, but he’s so engrossed in his work that he doesn’t even shift when you walk in the room.

so you start poking at the back of his neck, teasing him, genuinely just trying to get him riled up enough that he’ll turn and see just how worried you actually are for his health and well being.

he’ll try and swat you away for the first few minutes, grunting for you to go away in his tired state.

but then you’ll start talking, saying things like, “i guess i’ll let the dog have your side of the bed then,” and then it’s all hell broken loose.

he’ll spin around in his chair, grab your waist and drag you into his lap, where he’ll playfully pretend to nibble on your neck until your squirming and trying to get away.

he’ll hold you close to him, bundling your arms into your chest so you can’t get away, and he’ll genuinely just hold you like that with his ankles locked around your legs to stop you from moving.

you’ll groan and try and squirm out of his grip, but he’s stronger than you and he just holds you until you go limp in his arm.

he’ll grin down at you, press a kiss to the bottom of your ear before saying, “I’ll come to bed in a minute, babe.”

Taemin:

very sweet. very fragile. does not want to hurt you in any way or form.

i feel like the only way you’re gonna get Taemin to join in on the play fighting is if you, like, move his arms for him lmao.

he spends the majority of the play fighting just looking at you with this big goofy grin on his face, amused at the sight of you trying to square up to him.

because you’re so adorable and cute and that’s honestly the only thing he can concentrate on as you leap from side to side, nudging his shoulder, trying to get him to play along with you.

the only reason he doesn’t join in straight away is because he’s a little bit afraid of things going too far and you actually ending up getting hurt.

you’ll end up grabbing his arm and wrapping it around your own waist. he’ll throw his head back and groan, saying, “I don’t wanna,” but then his grip is involuntarily tightening and suddenly he’s swirling you around before pressing you onto the bed, unable to help himself.

because despite his irrational fear of actually hurting you, he can’t help but admit that he does get playful sometimes, and who else to have fun with than his lovely S/O?

so he’s awfully careful. he does that thing where he raises his legs up and catches you with his feet when you try to fall on top of his chest, so he’s kind of holding you up in the air with just his feet.

it’s actually very cute. i wish i had the vocabulary to describe it a bit better but i’m afraid that skill is not in my reservoir.

Jonghyun:

he always has time for a quick play fight.

purely because it’s you that’s wanting to play fight. he just always has time for you, tbh.

his play fighting is similar to Taemin’s in the sense that he does really spend the majority of it just staring at you with this fond smile on his face, unable to get over just how cute you look doing whatever it is you’re doing in your attempts to rile him up.

but then he’ll join in eventually, because he can’t just sit there when you’re looking that adorable. he just wants to give you everything whenever you’re jumping from side to side like that with your fists raised up.

honestly, the raised fists don’t do much. all Jonghyun needs to do is tackle you onto the bed and that’s you down for the count in seconds.

you two will genuinely just spend hours playing footsie on the bed, trying to shove the other person off the end of it.

sometimes you do win, because it isn’t that difficult. Jongyhyun will sometimes end up slipping off the edge of the bed and then he has to suffer with hearing you yell out in victory for ages.

whenever he manages to get you off the end of the bed, he’ll peak his head over the edge and grin at you, to which you’ll respond by rolling your eyes and curling up in the sheets you have just pulled from the bed.

Jonghyun will lower himself to the floor and curl up next to you, where the two of you will most likely end up going to sleep together.

sees someone elses trickster hc. and i have to think about mine again. jonghyuns still my voice claim for him personally. i still base nospin Mostly off shinee for voices and skills but i bounce things around. like ji-woon is more like kibum in terms of theatrics. the other members i based their roles off a specific member and then branched out from there (like changmin having onew as his voice but also he's not like onew that much at all he's just a guy. and woojin has the leader role instead but he's more similar to minho and blink's more like key but he's the one with the acting skills. you see)

To be honest, I want to add Kita soooooooo bad tothe current line-up of the Haikyuu captains idol AU though I never had the chance to sit down and do it, butbecause of this ask, my head canon for him got renewed, and here you go!

Kita Shinsuke – Kita, or his fanswould like to affectionately call him, Shin-chan; he was supposed to debut withthe group originally, but a family circumstance prevented him from doing so,and being the filial grandson that he is, he chose to go back to his hometown,hence delaying his debut.

He’s ‘newly added’ but definitely a well-roundedmember and is an established vocal and great dancer and serves both in thegroup

has sort of the gap moe appeal because helooks so young and refreshing but the things he do and the things he say, andthe way he sticks to his routine makes him seem like an old person, earning himthe moniker Grandma Kita.

‘Grandma’ because as mature as he is, he’s incrediblyblunt and savage when it comes to his members, but is also caring, in way thatgrandma’s are often ‘aggressively’ caring.

(The usual members who receive such savageryis Tooru, Bokuto, and sometimes, Kuroo)

Shares the mom role with Moniwa, but albeithas a more spartan like attitude, especially when it comes to cleanliness oftheir dorm and everyone in general.

is mostly deadpan along with Ushijima much to Tooru’s chagrin. Again. 

Kita’s journey of being an idol was fraughtwith backlash and criticism, especially at the beginning though. Because he wasadded to the group’s line-up a little later, when the group had an alreadyestablished fanbase and fans already have their own biases. He did cause quitea stir in the fandom, because on one hand, the members (at least as per the officialstatement of the agency) had unanimously decided to include him in theirline-up, and fans support their idols’ decision, but on the other hand, someare wary about how Kita’s addition will change the dynamics of the group theyalready know and love.

Of course, there are some bad apples amongthe crate and some harsh words have been thrown in his way, but he didn’t letthis bother him. It helps that his members have been obvious with theirsupport, like Tooru occasionally posting selfies with him, Kuroo posting acover with him, while Yuuji posted a short dance clip of him practicing somedance moves with Kita.

Thankfully, it didn’t get to a bad point,and as much as possible, the group had let their agency manage the statementsregarding to Kita’s addition, but ultimately, a post by Daichi helped eased thefans worries.

Nevertheless, Kita remained professionaland hardworking.

They also had a short reality tv show thataired before their next comeback/Kita’s official debut with the group, whichfeatured their dorm life and practice (and eventually the circumstancessurrounding his late debut with the group)

It’s a move that was quite successful,because then, fans who have watched and seen the show actually saw how Kitainteracts with the other members and how much the other members appreciate andlove him with them, saw the bond between all of them. Learned more about Kitaand saw how diligent he is.

And slowly but surely the fans warmed up tohim.

The real turning point though was his debutwith the group, and most fans have agreed that the group is even better withKita, than what they initially thought. 

Not everyone though, but more than enough.

OT7 just had become OT8 and boy are fans (both old and new) so thankful about it.

Finally, my idolreference for Kita is a mix between EXO’s Xiumin and NU’EST’s Jonghyun.

P.S. I can this songas their song when Kita officially debuts with them. :D

My heart is hurting so much I don’t know what to do except cry. I almost hurt myself but I tell myself Jonghyun would not want that.

i know anonnie, i know... the pain is a lot, it’s unbearable. i too can’t stop crying because it’s too much.. i want it to end but how could it when we lost someone who was so dear to everyone’s heart. i’m glad that even though you’re hurting on the inside you didn’t bring physical harm to yourself. you’re right. jonghyun might’ve token his own life but he wouldn’t want the same for others. please know that it’s okay to feel this much pain. it sucks, it really reallly does but it’s important too. it shows that you did love him, as we all did. without love, there would be no grief, but without grief there would be no love. i hope you know that the entire shawol community(as well as many many other fandoms) will offer all the support we can, we are in this together. just remember that as we all mourn that we should take care of ourselves. always eat, try to get some sleep, go to work/school, etc. stay strong anonnie, stay strong.
