- Что ты имеешь в...- Джон оборвал сам себя, вспомнив, в каком состоянии осталось пространство с прошлого раза. Мужчина рванул из офиса и остановился на пороге.

- Здесь кот. В архивах, - Мартин ошарашено смотрел на пушистика на раскладушке. Кот сонно смотрел в ответ.

- Я вижу, Мартин, - с надменным спокойствием ответил Джон, словно ему не хотелось на самом деле вернуть время назад и предложить Мартину ��нять комнату в отеле.

- Ты... ты знал об этом? Конечно ты знал, ты здесь бываешь чаще, чем дома, - нервная энергия Мартина стала растворяться в столь же нервные смешки, - почему у нас в архивах кот? И как долго?

- Меньше месяца? - на этом моменте Джон отвёл взгляд и скрестил руки перед собой. Как хорошо, что румянец не было видно, хотя лицо горело. Он пожалеет о своих дальнейших словах, - я же не мог оставить его на улице. А как ты сказал ранее, я всё равно провожу на работе больше времени, чем дома. Было приятно иметь компанию.

- Было? Не говори мне, что ты собираешься его теперь выгнать, - Мартин уже шагнул в комнату и присел на корточки перед раскладушкой, предлагая коту понюхать свою руку, - я всегда хотел себе питомца, а арендодатели запрещали.

Мартин ещё шептал что-то умиленное чёрному комку шерсти, который в свою очередь начал ластиться к руке. Джон не отводил взгляда, просто не мог. Мартин выглядел невероятно комфортно, по домашнему, быстро подружившись с котом. Не те мысли.

- Ну, если ты не против такого соседства, обустраивайся. Дай знать, если тебе что-то будет нужно. Я поговорю с Элайасом о твоей ситуации и напишу Тиму с Сашей, - Джон потряс головой, отгоняя желание остаться и рассказывать истории, что произошли за неполный месяц с этим котом. У него ещё оставалась работа и надо было найти заявление Прентисс.

-...всё это очевидное следствие длительного злоупотребления алкоголем. Но Саша провела небольшое расследование по ре- оу, - Джон оборвал своё повествование по поводу дела, когда за его штанину требовательно зацепился Кот. Мужчина немного отодвинулся от стола, давая пушистому залезть на свои колени, а потом также требовательно забраться на плечи, - ай, ай. Комфортно? Я могу продолжить? Хорошо. Как я говорил ранее, Саша отследила судьбу человека, давшего заявление, но практически ничего ценного для дела не нашла. Только то, что в последний раз его видели по дороге в пещеры, в которых, по его словам, остался его брат. Конец записи.

Джон щёлкнул кассетный проигрыватель, останавливая запись, и почесал наглого Кота за щекой. ��артин неловко постучал в офисную дверь и зашёл с двумя кружками чая.

- Прости, он гораздо более юркий, чем я ожидал, - парень неловко усмехнулся, ставя одну кружку на стол. Их новая традиция, - у него явно была цель, а я думал, что ты уже ушёл.

- Я собирался это последним записать и ехать, вроде на метро ещё успеваю, - Джон немного расслабил плечи под весом подросшего Кота и откинулся на спинку кресла. Чай после записи заявления был самое то, - как... как живётся в Архивах? Знаю, это не отель...

- Ты у меня недавно это спрашивал, - Мартин улыбнулся в свою кружку чая. Если бы Джон не знал лучше, то назвал бы эту улыбку смущённой.

- Ты тогда явно был раздражён. Да и Кот со своим характером, - Симс устало снял очки и отложил их на стол. Он хотел бы остаться, дел ещё много, да и здесь не так одиноко. Снова мысли не туда, Джон ещё раз глотнул чай.

- Скучаю по дому и своим книгам, хотел написать маме но... - в тоне слышалась тяжесть понимания, что письма останутся непрочтёнными и Джон не собирался спрашивать. Мартин отпил чай и улыбнулся, - я нашёл сериал, который хотел сегодня начать. Он про детектива и судьбу...

В офисе повисла немного неловкая тишина, разбавляемая мурчанием кота. Тишина неозвученного предложения. Но Джон не был бы боссом всей этой шайки лейки, если бы не был терпеливым. И немного тираном. Тишина продолжалась, пока Мартин искал слова и медленно покрывался румянцем.

- Может ты хочешь посмотреть со мной? - почти в одно слово выпалил парень и несмело посмотрел на Джона, который с трудом сохранял нейтральное лицо, - в плане, ты можешь отказаться и всё такое. Я даже не знаю, почему я предложил. Ты же ещё на метро собирался успеть, а уже поздно-

- Давай посмотрим, - перебил его Джон, едва заметно пожимая плечами, так чтобы не согнать Кота. Сегодня у него не было настроения долго держать Мартина в смущающем лимбе.

Джон медленно моргал, глядя на происходящее на экране. Его уже клонило в сон, но понять сюжет было интереснее. Ноутбук стоял на коробке, работающей как тумбочка. Кот развалился на коленях обоих мужчин и уже перестал мурчать только от того, что уснул. Джон держал одну руку на чёрной шерсти.

Сюжет его интересовал ровно до того момента, как на плечо ему упала голова Мартина. Очки съехали и точно неприятно ��пивались в щёку. Джон улыбнулся и свободной рукой убрал кудрявую прядь со лба Мартина, снимая с того очки.

- Я пойду наверное, - прошептал Джон, не желая никуда уходить. Он медленно потянулся выключить ноутбук и переложить кота со своих коленей, но все его действия оборвала рука, мягко обнимая.

- Останься, - очень сонно пробормотал Мартин, едва заметно потягивая в свою сторону. Раскладушка недостаточно большая для двух человек, но Джон понял, что он сам не хочет никуда уходить.

И он с радостью бы сейчас ушёл бы с работы. Но не из тёплых объятий Мартина, в которых так приятно засыпать. Забрать Кота с собой, который так уютно улёгся рядом (его потревожили, но он нашёл себе новое место). С запахом чая вокруг и доигрывающем на фоне сериалом. Но главное рядом с близкими.

(Джон успел проснуться раньше, чем пришли Тим с Сашей, но мартин не успел поймать Кота, когда выходил из комнаты и теперь у их Архивов есть свой маскот. А Джона все знают как заядлого кошатника. Небольшая цена за спокойный сон)

Jonmartin Week is Looking for Moderators

Hello all!

This is your moderator (@littlecactiguy) speaking. I started this event in 2021 to celebrate Jon and Martin following MAG200. Since then it has grown exponentially. To the point where now it is getting to a size where honestly I could use some help ensuring it continues to be a fun event in our fandom for years to come. Ergo, I’m searching for 1-2 people to join me as the moderator team.

Below I’ve listed out general expectations and responsibilities of what a Jonmartin Week Moderator will do. If you’re interested, please read through them and answer the questions on the linked form. I cannot guarantee you will be chosen to become a mod, but you will be considered.

General Expectations

18+ years of age

Accepting that all other Magnus ships are valid and not bashing them

You recognize that this blog is not a platform to be used for anything other than its direct purpose. There are a lot of things happening in the world right now, but this blog is not the place for them. It was established and remains a space to create and find joy in the jmart ship. Attempting to use it for anything other than that purpose could see your removal as mod.

If you reveal yourself to be racist, queerphobic, antisemitic, or prejudiced against a group in such a way, you will be removed as a mod.

If you are chosen, you will be made a member of the Jonmartin Week blog, but not an admin of it. What this means is that you will be able to reblog to Jonmartin Week, but you won’t have access to backend settings or blog editing control. After your first event as a mod, this could change, but not before.

Responsibilities:

The Prompt Submission/Voting Process

Prompt Submissions and Voting are decided through Google Forms. At this point, the process is fairly well-established and runs smoothly. Prompts are collected over a period, placed in an alphabetized list, and then presented for voting, where people have the opportunity to choose their top 14. If there is a high enough number of prompts submitted, there could potentially be multiple voting rounds.

Submissions generally take place Late November/Early December, with Voting following in Late December, and the Official Prompts Announcement generally happening by January.

A Mod will:

Aid in organizing the submitted prompts for voting and remove any submissions that don’t qualify (ex. a repeat of one of the past year’s prompts).

Discuss and decide which prompts will be paired with each other, and on which days those prompts will be placed.

Mods have access to the event prompts before their official announcement. The expectation will be that you share them with no one outside the mod team prior to the announcement going out.

During the Event

Jonmartin Week sees submissions in the form of both Tumblr posts and postings to the AO3 Collection.

Mods are responsible for reblogging event submissions to the event blog with organizational tags:

Event Year (ex. Event Year: 2024)

Type (ex. Type: Fanfic, Type: Fanart, etc.)

Day & which prompt was used (ex. Day 1 Prompt: First Kiss, or Day 1 Prompt: Season 1).

On AO3, mods are responsible for reading through fic submissions to the AO3 Collection and approving their entry into it.

The Magnus Protocol

This past year (2024) content relating to The Magnus Protocol was not allowed in the event. We will potentially be revisiting this topic again prior to the 2025 event. A mod will be expected to help lead the discussion along in a firm, but respectful manner.

Jokes aside, TeaHolding and Paul x Emma have so much in common narratively; I am in love with this AU.

Jon and Paul: Forced to Become something else by a powerful force, their bosses serve an eldrich being, forced to bring upon the Apocalypse, an unconventional relationship with their coworkers, both are headcanoned by the fandom to be autistic, etc.

Martin and Emma: Both are overlooked in their jobs, Martin gives Jon tea, and Emma gives Paul his black coffee (albeit, full of blue shit), both suffered a LOT of lonliness and strained family relationships, etc.

Jon as Paul. Martin as Emma. Ted as Bill and Sasha in the place of Alice. Basira as Charlotte with Daisy as Sam. Melonie as Ted. Elias as Paul's boss. His wife is Peter Lucas. Jurgen Leitner as Hidgens. Gertrude as General MacManera. The avatars as the "replaced." GUY I HAVE IDEAS.
