damn! its poison jam!

after weeks of work, i’m finally done with this cosplay!! i’ll probably have more pictures from the con that i’ll post after that, but i’m super happy with how the whole thing turned out :} all patterns used are here, some of them (spikes, bracers, and the pants cuffs) are my own design and some patterns have been altered!

I just KNOW they were so fucking insufferable. They probably spent their free time watching shitty slasher flicks and thinking about how cool they are and making really bad evil schemes. I think when she joined cube started blasting really bad nu metal in the sewers and poison jam had to unionize to get her to put eminem back on

Some jsr stuff!! Been super obsessed with the love shockers lately and just THINK about this when I say this. I highly believe that the love shockers and the poison jam would be cute together... just take a sec and THINK about that. !!!!

My predictions for the new upcoming JSR game

[WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM LEAKS]

Coin will reappear and be a SECRET playable character - He might die or not, we'll just have to see.

Alternate colour palettes and outfits - I feel like some of them would be important to whatever lore is about to come up, e.g a jester outfit for Beat with details somewhat reminiscent of someone else...

Finally getting an explanation why Beat's trait is 'failure' - I feel like the reason would be so wild, no one is going to handle it.

Going to the afterlife? Hell? Demon realm? - We're gonna get sucked up like a vacuum into a portal and the screen blacks out, and then we end up in the D e m o n R e a l m.

I won't elaborate - Beat eats a spider or something eats Beat.

The Wish - I have a few ideas of this. The wish might depend on what character you're playing as resulting in different endings, OR Beat's wish would make the world have a spasm. Kouya/Koya? would be having his wish accidentally ruin all of Tokyo Island.

Noise Tank rivalry - Whenever the Noise Tanks and the GG's interact, Beat's interactions would be gay.

Romeo and Juliet - Biz falls in love with a Poison Jam member and it will be comically tragic.

Haha very funni - Yoyo will make the weirdest puns or jokes that the background can't decide over a laugh track or complete silence.

Counter Attack! - The GGs will counter the Black Book with... something...

Hello handsome - A new character will make Beat question his sexuality.

For Tokyo Island and Jet Set Radio - In a very climactic point, Rudies, Gangs and the GG's team up to go fight and save Tokyo Island.

speaking of paradox canon its really funny to try to combine og jsr combo and cube's story with their story in future. combo and cube go to japan to unravel the truth of coin's death and cube instead immediately ditches combo to go have a joker arc in the sewers. #girl?

Fun fact about JSRF: I have played hundreds upon hundreds of hours of it by virtue of not being able to afford many games as a kid, so I'd just play the same three over and over. I'm not as good as I used to be, but I'm still capable of beating it in an afternoon.

Other fun fact: I accidentally discovered when I was 20-ish that I beat the speedrun record for 100% completion, non-TSA, because my ex was really into speedrunning at the time. This was about fifteen years ago so the record has since been destroyed, but I remember my ex looking incredulously at a save file I had on my Xbox and loudly bemoaning that I didn't record it because she would have had bragging rights. I don't really remember much of the game breaking stuff aside from a place in 99th Street where you can skate through a wall and end up outside of the map, and vaguely that there's a way to get outside of the map in Highway Zero, but I haven't been able to replicate the results from what I remember. There's a weak corner in the street market on a building. I remember that. You can also hop the fence at the future site of Rokkaku Expo Stadium to look at the final boss tower but like... it's fickle.

OTHER other fact: The Doomsday Clock does nothing, my guys. Every time you enter Kibogaoka Hill, it resets and does the little dance. I've seen it a bunch of times. It likely won't do it more than once per map entrance because the game isn't programmed amazingly in a lot of places.

OTHER OTHER other fact: You can break the AI super easy to beat tag battles and shit. If you knock a Noise Tank off of a rail at Sky Dinosaurian, they'll respawn in certain places and you can time yourself to be behind them. Poison Jam will stop in the sewers and just start going in circles. You can quite literally make The Immortals kill themselves. You can win death ball by boosting so many times in the beginning that the AI will make your competition go in reverse.

OTHER OTHER OTHER other fact: There's all kinds of fun little details people miss, like the simulated NPC blow job in an alley, the fact there's wanted posters with concept art on it, the statue giving a speech to a roaring crowd in the demilitarized zone. The cat room. THE CAT ROOM.

oh my god these were a nightmare to make and im terrified of them falling apart 5 minutes into the con but MAN they look so good (claw and hand pattern came from here, the bracer part was my own pattern!)

also who's your fav character, for me it's a tie between Beat, Tab, Garam and Yoyo. I am totally sane about these four.

For jsrf it's corn, hayashi and doom riders (me when my fave has literally 5 minutes of screen time)

But all characters in this series are silly goobers and i love them:D
