Elsa and Anna had been staying there for about a week now and it was starting to feel pretty normal. He and Simone had yet to tell them the full truth, but she was managing the vampire thing, like she always did, and it hadn't been an issue yet. Her odd hours at work meant that they had yet to notice the fact that she never actually ate and it was working out fairly well for them. For dinner tonight, he'd decided to order takeout and he was stopping by the girl's rooms to see what they wanted. Without thinking much about he, he walked into Elsa's room without knocking.

He pounded on the front door of the manor, too busy supporting most of Anna's weight to get out his keys. "ELSA! KYLE!" he called, needing either of them to answer the door and go wake up Simone. They had been on their way home from school and hunters had caught them by surprise. Anna had gotten shot trying to protect him. Stupid, stupid, stupid. He would have taken her to a hospital but he knew there was nothing they could do. She smelled like death and they were running out of time. They needed Simone.
