julia never quite understood why callum avoided television hours for izzy: it seemed to entertain her, seemed to make her focused on something. but by the moment izzy was asleep and jules was the one watching tv, she noticed precisely why he wouldn't allow: there was no way of controlling what kind of information would get to the little one. just as the one that just occurred to julia. dating a firefighter was as far from calm than it could be; his job involved putting his life at risk to save others', and although julia admired it a lot, it would usually make her feel completely desperate, even more after hearing those news. oh god, please, no. no, not him pleas-, she's interrupted of her thoughts once she hears a low "jaaaaay!" from the little one's bedroom. rushing over there and trying to hold back the multiple thoughts she had been having about her boyfriend's safety, she opens the door and finds the little one sitting on her bed. is it possible that she felt something was happening? "what's wrong, princess?" she asks, terrified of what she might hear. "i can't sleep" she hears, and walks towards her bed. "it's alright, iz. jay's here. what do you want to do?"
