The restaurant dates all the way back to 1880, during the Edo period, and comes from a time when soba got famous as a fast food for busy people. To my surprise, my group managed to get in. While the wait was somewhat long—around 30 minutes—it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting for a…

words of affirmation
would one-hundred percent write cute little texts everyday to brighten your morning and evenings. that way he knows your day has started and finished on a happy note. he’d compliment how beautiful you looked that day, how he’ll dream of you later that night in the evenings. while in the mornings he’d say how excited he was to see you, how he missed you even though he had walked you home the night before. he made sure you always knew you were loved. he prefers doing this over text due to how shy he is to say it in person, and this way you can go back and read over his words if you ever feel down. ❝good morning beautiful. just wanted to let you know that i love you, i’ll pick you up after school.❞
────✰ 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚
quality time
it doesn’t matter if he has time or not, he is spending time with his s/o. hanma is all about excitement, so you are most definitely never bored with this man. he’s always taking you out and spending unnecessary amounts of money on activities for the two of you to do. he’ll spend hours the night before planning what the two of you will do, where you’ll eat, how you’ll get there, what the two of you can talk about. he’s a bit controlling, but it’s the thought that counts and the fact he puts so much effort into showing you his love is so adorable. ❝okay, first we’ll eat dinner at kanda yabu soba, and next is skydiving.❞
────✰ 𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐲𝐚
physical touch
he’s definitely more of a touchy boyfriend. he likes to show his love for you through touch, rather than words like his brother. he always brings you into large hugs whenever he sees you, warming you inside and out. when he can’t engulf you in one of his huge hugs he’ll wrap his arm around your shoulder, bringing your body close to his while he talks with his friends or walk around the city. this man loves having you glued to his side, even when it’s like 30 degrees celsius (85ish fahrenheit)! ❝get over here right now.❞
────✰ 𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐢
physical touch
hakkai is super sweet! he doesn’t want to absolutely crush you in showers of his affection, so he’s good with just holding your hand in order to show his love. he’s old fashioned in a sense. he always asks before he latches his hand onto yours. a small smile forms on his face whenever (which is 98% of the time) you say yes. he loves to trace circles on the back of your hand, with the pad of his thumb, while he holds it. when it’s cold out, he’ll grab your hand and intertwine your fingers inside of his coat pocket to warm your hand. ❝can i hold your hand?❞
────✰ 𝐤𝐚𝐳𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚
words of affirmation
your heart broke when kazutora was locked up the second time. it’s hard for both of you, to keep your relationship together when you can only see him through a glass window and talk to him through a phone. kazutora makes sure to always write you lengthy letters. explaining how his day has been, how he loves and misses you, and what you two will do when his sentence is complete. though it isn’t as great as seeing him in person, his letters never fail to make you smile. ❝the second i get out of here i’m going to hold you so close to me. i love you.❞
────✰ 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨
acts of service/quality time
shinchiro is going to continuously tinker with your vehicle (car or bike) to upgrade it, give it a new paint job, or add new features. he’s shy when it comes to admitting his love for you, but he’s an awesome mechanic and he knows you treasure your method of transportation (seeing as he had bought it for you.) fixing up your conveyance is his way of showing you affection. on other occasions, he’ll show up to your residence and begin making a dinner for two, not that he’s talented in the kitchen. often, it ends in the two of you working together to clean the mess he made. ❝sorry doll, this was supposed to oden, i don’t know what happened.❞

© abstreich
Tokyo has everything you can ask of a city, and has it in spades: a rich, cosmopolitan dining scene, more cafes and bars than you could visit in a lifetime, fantastic public transport and grassy parks.
Tokyo is one of the most exciting cities on the planet but it’s also one of the most expensive.
Thankfully, our travel on a budget will help you to plan your trip and provide you some useful tips to get the best out of your time here.
1) Getting There

By air
Tokyo has two airports: Narita Airport handles the majority of international flights and only a small number of domestic flights. It is located 60 kilometers outside of central Tokyo. The more centrally located Haneda Airport handles a smaller number of international flights and the majority of domestic flights.
2) Where to Stay in Tokyo

Founded more than 100 years ago, it's a beautiful free-standing wooden villa in its own tranquil garden courtyard with the feel of a traditional tea house. Locals prefer their noodles cold, as zaru soba (plain noodles with a dip) or ten-zaru (the same with batter-fried shrimp).
Kushiwakamaru

© hedonisthk
This is casual and accessible restaurant. Here, there are always a few specials, such as duck or quail. And don't miss the negima (chicken and leek), the tsukune (balls of minced chicken) or the tebasaki chicken wings.
Sushi-Bun

Tokyo's central fish market is an essential part of most visitors' itineraries. Sushi-Bun is one of the best in the market. Most people go for the set sushi menu which includes their succulent house-special, anago sea eel.
