yess this is so real. like I hate to be the police of shipping because it doesn't matter in literally any way in the real world... it's just like what are we doing guys. We could be doing a way better job at this. They never actually fully commit to the characters when they ship them together. Like, kennipher is just a regular yaoi archetype given a Kennith and Christopher coat of paint. I have literally not seen a single person attempt to portray that ship with the actual personalities of the characters. And like, as stupid as it is there are some ways kennipher could be cute. Like, if people wanted to highlight the difference between their time periods, maybe Kennith has to teach Christopher about the modern day, maybe Christopher is an internalized homophobe. Interesting things could happen but it only gets to be bland fetishized gay relationship #9863. Even Simon x Kennith could be interesting if people really wanted to try. I've seen people headcanon Simon as a closeted trans person. Maybe Kennith teaches him about queer identities and that's how he figures this out?? Maybe it's enemies to lovers, and Simon slowly realizes that Kennith is happier than him and he wants to learn how to be happy too. I think that 90% of ghost and pals shippers don't even actually like the characters lmao. Because these are not the actual characters you're shipping together they are stereotypes in a costume 😭😭😭. I don't understand why they even bother making it ghost and pals... like there's nothing wrong with wanting to just ship characters together for fun, but like... just go read a shipping manga or something bro. or just care about the characters and give them personalities PLEASE. But yeah obligatory comment that I don't actually care what people ship. I just feel like if you're gonna do something you should do it right and commit.

honestly i like loved and hated it at the same time, but mostly loved. bc like it's great how relatable the characters are (especially kanade for me) and how realistically it portrays depression and suicidal ideation

but also that made it really sad to read 😭😭 bc like ik people like them, I'M people like them!! so i was super empathetic towards mainly yuki but also the others, so it made me feel super sad, but in like a good way?? idk, you said you like sad stories, you get what i mean. but it was super good, i liked it!! ^ω^
