Dark Keyblade Army - King Candy
The forces of darkness are mounting an offensive, and villains from Disney and Final Fantasy have joined the horde. But that's not all: they have been granted their own Keyblades, making them more dangerous than ever.
"Welcome to the boss level!" "Have some candy!" "Turbo-tastic!" "I am the greatest racer in the arcade!"
King Candy, also known as the racer Turbo, has hacked his way out of Game Central Station and joined the Dark Keyblade Army. He carries a variant of the Bad Guy Breaker Keyblade, a virus-infected reflection of the one Vanellope von Schweetz carries. While he mainly appears in his King Candy form, he will sometimes glitch into his true form when he gets really mad.
Part of the "Keyblade Army" series, which will pit both heroes and villains in battle carrying Keyblades of their own.

sometimes I think about that line in kh1 when maleficent said riku was like a son to her. and in the stream I'm watching the streamer was surprised that riku actually had his own bedroom in hollow bastion.
the riku-maleficent relationship was really neat tbh. I'd love to see riku meet her again in but this time he's more confident in himself and also he's holding hands with sora and maleficent is like both extremely pissed off but also secretly kinda proud of him
#mine musings#liveblogging kh#i read a fic once where riku was feeling the stress of being a keyblade master and maleficent was like#“yen sid is treating you like an assistant but under me you controlled armies (or heartless)”#“i saw your potential and you're wasting it being an errand boy”#and like the way the fic was set up maleficent was trying to give riku advice like she cares for him in a villanous motherly way#it was just a sideplot and riku spends most of the fic ignoring her btw but it ends with him and sora meeting maleficent for dinner lmao#and riku tells her about how he's his own keyblade master now and also he's with sora now#and maleficent was like “oh thank god you actually grew a spine. i was starting to think i raised you wrong :/” lmao it was so funny

Okay so getting a returning interest in KH means I'm finally catching up on the mobile games and question: when the fuck was someone gonna tell me that Dark Road literally lays out that individual worlds are still reforming during the time when Eraqus and Xehanort are students?
I am frothing at the mouth at the things this game has been confirming that I've been wondering about for years. Yes, Keyblade society has basically been eating itself alive- Scala ad Caelum is near empty even when they're students.
And y'all are gonna let me find out that the worlds are likely still reforming in Sora's time, that time is literally funky between each world due to the differing rates in which they reform, from a goddamn youtube video showcasing cutscenes????
The potential worldbuilding is phenomenal. The potential what ifs are insane. What if LoD and the Keyblade Graveyard had been on completely different time speeds and Vanitas or Ventus had aged differently in comparison to each other? How many years have Sora Riku and Kairi actually been gone? Some worlds take months and some take seconds to rush through and the absolute cognitive dissonance of like, joining an army for the new friend you made who's trying to hide as a girl, for example, spending months gaining the trust of your captain and eventually saving the emperor, just to trot back to Radiant Garden and be told "oh Sora don't be silly you've been gone less than a day"--
This is how I know the fandom is dead on the fanfiction side of things because this is just begging to be experimented with and if it is I am not seeing it.

it was a different kind of smile that rested on his expression while the admiration was happening; a sort of nostalgic wince that he veils behind a smile. the one he knows, he's not nearly so enthusiastic like this anymore, and it's refreshing, for a moment, but then quickly saddening... knowing what is sure to come, be it distant or close within reach. but then roxas flickers his gaze to watch the attempt, and that bitter nostalgia is wiped away with a wash of playful mirth.
"Oi, lil' man, are you thinking too much on what you were wanting to get instead of what you were just leaning into?" the ex - nobody wanders closer and twirls the spear, poking his shoulder ever so slightly with the sharp end as if to remind him of something.
"All of what you've done so far has come to you on instinct, on desire to learn. Why force it now? Desummon your Keyblade, it'll reset itself. Try again." at which point he steps back and stabs the end of the spear into the ground as if to be a stalwart force against what could, might, happen when he tries again this time.
{♕} A small gasp left Sora was he watched the other’s keyblade shimmer and change shape. Stepping closer, he examined each end of the spear and lightly rubbed the ribbon between his fingers, making sure that the fabric was actually there.
“...Roxas...this is....so COOL!”
He had to try it himself. He wasn’t even sure what kind of weapon he was trying to turn his keyblade into. Maybe something sleek like a samurai sword? Or maybe the gun Roxas had mentioned earlier! The possibilies seemed endless and before Sora had really decided on what he wanted his keyblade to turn into, he tossed his keyblade into the air.
Closing his eyes, Sora concentrated, reaching out to influence the magic. A smile crossed his face as he focused, relishing in the warmth of the magic. He could never really explain it, but he treasured the feeling. His keyblade glittered and his eyes remained closed, the weapon that dropped into his hand...was a something? It looked as if his keyblade had half shifted into a mix of several weapons, but hadn’t settled into one weapon.
“Uh...I think...something went wrong...”

TD x Kingdom Hearts (Edits): MAJOR Update 2: Final character edits of Series 1! + Sora’s TD Keyblade is now in development!
And here we are, ladies and gentlemen! Leshawna and Brick, and their Keyblades, are completed! With them, Sora has officially 15 options to mix and match his party in Camp Wawanakwa!
I already explained Alejandro and Duncan, but here’s the rundown: Alejandro’s fit is a combo of KH3 Riku’s and Terra’s and his Keyblade is called Toro’s Fury, based on Foreteller Aced’s Keyblade. Duncan’s fit is based on Young Xehanort’s outfit in Union X. His Keyblade’s name is called Delinquent’s Passion and has his lighter as a base, with the skull gift he made for Courtney as a keychain.
Leshawna’s outfit is based on the Keyblade armor worn by the Wayfinder trio and Master Eraqus from Birth by Sleep, with her own unique helmet too! Her Keyblade’s name is Sister’s Force, and it’s inspired partly by Foreteller Invi’s Keyblade. It has the frog she needed to capture in S1’s “Wawanakwa Gone Wild” and the twin blades are supposed to be the capital cursive L you see in her swimwear (fitted in blade form that is). The keychain are the yo-yos Harold gives her before his elimination in WT. I love how she turned out.
Brick ended up being one of my favorite designs too! His outfit is based on the Canadian Miltary ceremonial uniform, specifically the one used by privates, but combined with the aesthetic of Sora’s KH2 outfit, something I previously did for Jo. His Keyblade’s base is a flagpole and is called Private’s Honor! Decorated with private badges and elements from the Canadian Army Flag like the fleur-de-lis (seen in the 1939-1944 version) and the iconic maple leaf. The actual flag has the Canadian colors but with the Guardians of Light team logo. The keychains are the dog tags you see him usually wearing on his everyday outfit!
Like I said, these last two characters round up the Wawanakwa Guardians of Light and will be my final new character edits for this story, and series 1. To this post, I’m attaching the last 4 wielders of this story and the other 12 characters already made. If I give out more edits based on these particular characters, it will mainly be their form changes (which I still have to finish; I’ll post another update when I have them finished) Sadly, in this story (pls don’t hate me), only four contestants don’t get Keyblades: Lightning, Anne Maria, Cameron, and Scott. They’ll still be important to the story, however! (Dw Anne Maria fans, she won’t be the first boot)
However, while these will be my final new character edits of this particular story…
They are NOT the final character edits I’ll be making for this crossover project, for this is only SERIES 1. Series 2 is in the planning stages! This one is non-canon and it’s purely based on popular demand and also on nice ideas I had for these characters.
Series 2 is now confirmed to include:
- Noah
- Cody
- Emma (RR)
- Kitty
- Izzy
- Lindsay
- Ella
- Sammy
- Amy
And in consideration:
- Jacques
- Josee
- Harold
- Brody
Hope you look forward to them!
Finally, to end this update, Sora will get a unique Total Drama Keyblade after the story ends! For those who don’t know, in the KH games, Sora usually gets a Keychain to modify his Keyblade after completing a world. Camp Wawanakwa will be no different. This Keyblade will be very unique in a sense that I won’t spoil rn, you’ll just have to wait to see it when I finish it. I’ll just say the name: Dramatizer.
I really hope you like these final character edits for the story. Let me know what you think! And look forward for more artworks and edits coming soon!
Thanks as always. May your heart be your guiding key❤️🔑🗝️

I'll be honest, I think maybe the Foretellers would have been better received if they weren't sharing their screentime with the MoM.
Like, I see the Foretellers get called "boring" a lot (and I get why) but I feel like it's a little unfair to them when they're standing next to the MoM who is so overwhelmingly quirky, funny, expressive, and lively; it's hard not to read the Foretellers as humorless sticks-in-the-mud in comparison (which is probably the point, but still).
As well, we get very little time with the Foretellers and during that time we mostly see the Foretellers talking about and reacting to matters concerning their official responsibilities as Union leaders; I think it's understandable why they'd be mostly serious and no-nonsense throughout Back Cover, even if it doesn't make for the most entertaining/compelling character work.
And even then, I still think we get some interesting glimpses into the personalities and flaws of these characters via KHUX and Back Cover, especially with regards to how their qualities and behaviors sometimes contradict their first impressions.
Gula comes across as an edgy, detached loner teenager who Doesn't Care and doesn't need the help or friendship of others, but then by the end of Back Cover we see how much of a front this is, with him emotionally falling apart, begging for Ava's help, and trying to pull a dangerous stunt (summoning Kingdom Hearts) to, essentially, get his MoM to pay attention to him and come back to save him and his friends.
Ava comes across as the young, innocent, kind favorite who doesn't want to rock the boat or engage in any conflict, but she's also the one most involved in many of the mysterious and suspicious events that occur throughout KHUX, the one who attacks Luxu first out of anger, and the one who is implied to rebel against the MoM in various ways.
Aced, though undeniably big and strong and a little intimidating, still nonetheless comes across as someone kind and justice-oriented who genuinely cares about fairness and other people. By the time of the Keyblade War though, he is forming an army, voicing his intentions to overthrow the other Foretellers, and trying to become a literal tyrant who rules with an iron fist.
Invi comes across as this cool-headed, logical, impartial, reliable type of person but is one of the first to openly accuse Aced of being the traitor with no evidence to back it up and even prioritizes Ira above all the others, being willing to spy on everybody else for his sake.
Ira is meant to be the leader, the one who takes care of everybody else and mediates disagreements, but instead he's the first to become suspicious of his own comrades almost immediately, and is the cause of the tension and conflict that arises amongst them.
(I watched Back Cover/KHUX again a couple months ago and I'm going off of memory here. I'm sure bigger Foreteller enjoyers than I could provide way more character analysis than just this. But the point is: I don't think the Foretellers are completely lacking in character or personality; in the very least there's some good groundwork here for future games to flesh them out even more.)

Kingdom Hearts and the Seraphim Mythos: Ventus, the Master, and the Fall of Light
A Seraphim is the highest choir of angels in Judeo-Christian angelology, and closest to the divine. Their role is purification, worship, and safeguarding the heavenly realm. They are forces of cosmic order, embodiments of light too bright for mortals to withstand. I guess you could say they’re pure lights—and when it comes to pure lights, there’s two characters that come to mind (not counting the Princesses of Heart), that being Ventus and the Master of Masters.
To say that Ventus is Seraphim would frame him as more than a character but a living symbol of divine light. His role touches the metaphysical structure of the Kingdom Hearts universe, not through dominion or power, but through purity, presence, and connection. Ventus’ core nature is untainted—even after being split in two by Xehanort, he retained a heart of purity. He’s one of the few characters in KH whose light is not the result of training or conflict—it is innate.
Seraphims are not warriors of conquest—they protect the sacred, which is exactly what Ventus does. His light is a counterbalance to Vanitas, Xehanort’s ambition, and even later to the fragmentation of hearts across the series. He doesn’t fight to destroy—he fights to preserve the connection, like a guardian angel of memory and soul. Ventus doesn’t conquer, he doesn’t lead armies, he doesn’t impose the Light—he invites it, and others, to rise. His heart intertwines with others, not by force, but because it is open. He does not resist connection—he becomes it.
He connects his heart to Sora, and his presence echoes in Roxas, Xion, and even Vanitas. He is like wind through a forest—touching all, moving many, without changing himself. The Seraphim in him is not a protector through shields or walls, but through selflessness, through the radiance of still Light amid chaos. The Seraphim in him doesn’t wage war. It intervenes only when the order of Light is endangered. This is reflected in how Ventus often only enters battle when others, his friends, are in danger, or when the balance of Light is threatened.
It’s also worth noting that Seraphims are angelic messengers. In Japanese Shinto, the kami of wind are messengers of the divine. Wind is the element of the invisible, the intangible, the everywhere. It cannot be held, but it shapes worlds. For Ventus, wind is not just a gameplay motif—it’s his essence. Ventus is the spirit that moves unseen but is felt in the hearts of others. His name means “wind,” and links multiple keyblade wielders through the winds of destiny.
Furthermore, Seraphims are described as having six wings as well. Does that sound familiar? Well, when Ventus activates Wingblade, six glowing weapons appear behind him, hovering like celestial wings. They don’t flap or function like traditional wings, instead, they float, just like angelic sigils or energy-based halos in spiritual art.
Photo for reference:

Maybe Wingblade isn't just a Command Style—it’s a revelation of Ventus’ deeper self.
I’d also like to add that Seraphims also a symbol of unconditional love and intense devotion which I say Ventus displays countless times. On top of that, in many fictional contexts, they’re depicted with abilities like extreme strength, flight, teleportation, and the ability to manipulate light or energy. We have already seen Ventus with flight and light manipulation abilities in the past.
But how does this connect to the Master of Masters? So we already know the Foretellers are named after six of the seven deadly sins, except for the sin of pride or Superbia in Latin. This means the Master of Masters is connected to the sin of pride. Which happened to be the same name referenced on the Black Box he told Luxu to hide. The sin of pride is associated with the devil, aka, Lucifer who was said to be a Seraphim when he was still in heaven. In myth, Lucifer was not originally evil. He was a being of immense beauty and light, a Seraphim closest to god, who fell not because of hate, but because of ambition, curiosity, and pride. This fits the Master of Masters so eerily well that it feels intentional. Lucifer sought knowledge, independence, and ultimately a place equal to God. Likewise, the Master of Masters: Wields foresight—a form of near-omniscience, writes The Book of Prophecies, predicting events across millennia, orchestrates worlds, wars, and roles for everyone… but hides his own intent, and mocks divinity while shaping destiny. He crossed a threshold no Seraph should: He tried to master the Light itself. That is the core of the Lucifer archetype: not evil, but curiosity without humility, power without reverence, a refusal to simply be light, choosing instead to bend it.
When I was talking about this with @teaandfics, they brought something to my attention that I’d love to share. According to them, “Mary the mother of God is Lucifer’s replacement. If an angel falls, their spot/role is left unfulfilled. He was the angel of Light and he fell, leaving his spot vacant. So when Mary ascended, because she was an exact opposite to Lucifer (she obeyed God’s will and remained faithful), she took his place. She also literally bore the light of the world (Jesus). Ventus fundamentally shaped Sora the way Sora shaped him, just as Mary gave Jesus humanity as Jesus granted Mary a place in Heaven as Queen.”
In the context of this theory, we established that the Master of Masters is a Lucifer archetype where despite being a pure light, he uses to it control fate. As a result, he became a fallen angel and left his role now unfulfilled. That role—guardian of divine light or something of that nature—must be replaced, not by power but by purity. This is where Ventus comes in. Just as Mary ascended into the role Lucifer abandoned—not through might, but through motherhood and obedience—Ventus rises into the role the Master forfeited, not through power, but through love. Where the Master sought to control destiny, Ventus exists in total surrender to it. Plus, the spiritual synergy between Ventus and Sora is not one of hierarchy, but reciprocity—just like the sacred bond between Mary and Jesus. Ventus gives Sora his beginning. Sora gives Ventus his return.
TL;DR: This theory frames Ventus as a Seraphim—a being of pure, innate light who embodies connection, purity, and spiritual protection, not through conquest but through love, memory, and presence. On the other side of the light spectrum is the Master of Masters, who fits the Lucifer archetype: once a being of pure light who, driven by curiosity and pride, fell by trying to master the Light instead of serving it. He represents corrupted foresight, control, and ambition—the light that bends rather than illuminates. In Christian tradition, when Lucifer fell, Mary rose to take his place—not through power, but through obedience, purity, and by bearing the Light (Jesus). In this theory, Ventus is Mary’s symbolic parallel: the one who replaces the fallen angel—not by might, but by becoming the heart of light for others. As Mary bore divine light into the world, Ventus bears the light of connection—especially through Sora. Thus, if the Master of Masters is the fallen king of Light, then Ventus is the new King of Light—not to rule, but to restore.

Next in my Alan Wake x Kingdom Hearts series, Alex Casey!
Design Notes: I used Terra from Birth by Sleep and my Dark Knight in Final Fantasy XIV as my template for Casey. I wanted Casey’s costume to reflect that would be the tank of the party, taking damage to keep others safe. Kept his colors scheme in line with his in game suit and FBI jacket with red highlights to match the keyblade. I wanted his keyblade to be large, heavy and minimalist in design, a giant weapon you wouldn’t expect him being able to wield until he’s swinging it effortlessly at your face. Fur collar to give off a lone wolf vibe, thick heavy layers protecting himself from all angles as a one man army.
Keyblade Name: Return to Sender
Kingdom Hearts Song: Nachtflügel

I talk about two different fandoms in this kinda long post but, you know, we've been talking about a lot of the more negative, angst heavy ideas that usually revolves around being burned or betrayed and them having to grovel for your forgiveness, the special catharsis only those stories can bring, but I've been having a lot of ideas on... what if Reader straight up vanishes/leaves their yandere group because they feel like a fucking loser
Like, we keep talking about Spiderverse for example. There's a scene in My Adventures With Superman where Lois Lane finds out there's a multiverse society of other Lois Lanes and she's going through a computer and finding out that, by comparison, she's actually kind of a "failure". She's seeing records of versions of her that were Nobel Prize winners at 19, extremely accomplished, hell it's just meant as a fun reference but one version of her is even a Keyblade Wielder
Imagine being you in the Spiderverse and slowly over time you just start feeling. Bad. All of these other Peter Parkers and their variants are usually so talented, inventors, engineers, technicians. You can't gracefully somersault and perform intricate acrobatics like Gwen Stacey, you can't invent your own tech, you're not some super genius, you're just. A normal person. I can only imagine the absolute fucking punch in the gut of being in the Spider Society for an extended period of time and, feeling like you fit in just a little bit, you fit in here more than your home dimension, you even have nice conversations with Miguel from time to time (which are more significant to him than you know), and suddenly, more Yous start getting scouted, Yous with their customized costumes that are so flattering and chich and mech suits and degrees and accolades and partners and children. You're just in the lunch room one day feeling depressed and they all swarm you trying to eat with you and be friendly, "so what are YOUR studies in? I'm a molecular physicist!" "I served in the army as a lieutenant before I was bit!" "I'm a gold medal Olympic gymnast! What sports do you have medals in?"
And you just. Blink at them, feeling tears well up in your eyes. "I'm just a normal person." before leaving your tray and your food you've already paid for behind so you can run off to cry. Later on you see a bunch of Yous gathered around giggling and you can pick up what they're saying with your super senses and they're all standing around talking about what a fucking loser you are. "They don't even have a degree OR a date!!" just standing around fucking LAUGHING at you
You realize you're no longer needed in the Spider Society, that you're literally just a warm body, there's nothing unique or special or needed about you, you're literally just another body who can be swapped out with hundreds of others whenever needed, like, like a glorified retail employee. You wind up going to Miguel's office when it's empty and leaving your bracelet on a counter without a note or anything before warping home without any intention of, not only coming back, but ever being a Spider ever again (but uh little do you know he IMMEDIATELY notices when you go missing. You're here assuming you're so unnoticeable and unremarkable and the man flips his shit the second he finds out you just QUIT QUIT, he literally won't accept, he'll kept visiting your universe until you accept your watch back even if it means he has to force it back onto your arm and lock it in place. Don't you EVER try to go where he can't follow you or see you 🥺)
And then an idea for Batman because he's the other one we've been talking about off and on. I've been kinda writing blurbs for an idea where Reader is a small time Gotham hero who Batman runs into a few times, maybe starts considering you as Justice League material, and he eventually sees you're, completely alone and really going through some stuff and, after you get injured saving him and are left without a place to live, he lets you stay at the manor to heal up and you slowly start bonding with every member of the Batfam. Damian who is relatively new to the family is still being really outward and hostile and nasty and Bruce is starting to consider military school until he sees you two cuddling on the couch watching the news while the boy calls you big sister/brother/etc and later on the youth actually apologizes and, magically starts explaining his feelings (because you and him have had several heart-to-hearts where you've told him he needs to communicate better and how). Dick sees you bonding with Damian and starts spending time with you as the boy's favorite brother, starting to get attached to you as well, offering to teach you gymnastics. I can just see him taking you and Jason on a really fun parkouring run through the property or the city all costumed up, just to have fun and watch you smile. You open up to Jason about your childhood and the things that made you want to be a hero and he feels kinship with the anger in your heart, the urge to punish those who commit these atrocities, maybe do something even worse to them in return.
You're seemingly integrating into the Batfam EXCELLENTLY but, your demeanor slowly changes. You start seeming uncomfortable. You start mentioning how you feel like you've overstayed your welcome and start bringing up how, you've had enough time mentally and physically recovering, you need to get a job again and move out. Complete silence at the weekly family dinner as someone asks you how your day is and you reply you had a really good job interview that you hope to hear back from soon (you wont, not anymore). You're gradually getting worse, more antisocial, not wanting to join them for events or outings, not even spending time in the same room with everyone, holing yourself up in the room that was given to you. The Batfamily starts worrying and talking amongst themselves, conducting their own research and surveillance to try and figure out your mental state, but you don't want to talk. It's like you don't trust them with your feelings.
One night someone goes to fetch you for something and no one can find you: you left the manor without anyone seeing you and didn't leave any sort of note to let them know where you're going, and even left your cellphone behind, maybe suspicious that they could use it to track you. After a couple hours of frantic scouring the city, Bruce finds you smoking a cigarette, standing out in a park, just trying to get some fresh air, some space, some privacy, acting completely nonchalant and even annoyed by the man's concern as he tries to ask you what's wrong, and you're extremely reluctant to tell him, the man basically badgering you and wearing you down until you answer in the hope he leaves you alone
"Your entire fucking family makes me want to ACTUALLY KILL MYSELF, ok?! I'm not some, genius savant who knows acrobatics and dozens of martial arts! I'm not a gifted programmer! I'm not good at solving puzzles and riddles! I've never read Dickens or Kant, I can't just quote off all these famous references, I'm not some well-read computer with an eidetic memory who hears something once and basically remembers it forever! I can't rattle off the uses for polyurethane foam and the chemical compositions of the gas in your Bat grenades! I can't even pick up a new skill or new hobby or game without YOUR TEN YEAR OLD literally INSTANTLY being better at it than I am! I'm NORMAL! I'm not like you! I'm not like any of you! I'm a LOSER! So, so, I'm starting a new job on Monday and I'm going to start saving money to move out, ok? It's been MONTHS, I want OUT"
And because Gotham weather is notoriously awful it starts suddenly pouring down so now you're upset and sobbing AND wet as Bruce manages to usher you into the Batmobile, kicking on the heat as you're shivering like a soaked stray cat, and he doesn't say much outwardly to you, mostly seeming to just lend an ear before immediately taking you back home, but in his mind it's like "so what you're saying is... you need us now more than ever. You've been extremely depressed and hiding suicidal thoughts and feel alone without any proper purpose in life. I can work with that" and now they're up your ass now more than ever and, I'm growing steadily attached to the idea of a Bruce who actually MAKES you be not just a member of the Batfamily, but a crime fighter to help give you purpose and discipline, so. My man hears you essentially say "I'm jealous I'm not as talented as you or your family and I feel like a loser because I can't do cool things too so I want to leave and never see any of you again. I'm not even good enough to do hero stuff so I'll just go back to being a normal person :(" and he deadass replies "bet, here's your own hypercustomized Bat-themed costume that i already made for you, your training starts tomorrow 7am sharp"
#yandere x reader#yandere batfam#yandere spiderverse#yandere batman#honestly i think a batman who forces you to be a sidekick would be AWWWWWFUL#cause not only is he all yandere protective but then he has EXPECTATIONS and hes trying to teach you and scold you and all that#ughhhh itd be the worsttttt but so deliciously dramatic#sinprompts#yandere stuff

Keyblade Army - Neku Sakuraba
Sora needs extra help fighting the forces of darkness, so he has recruited friends from Disney and Final Fantasy worlds to aid in the conflict. But these heroes don't come on their own; they have been gifted with their own Keyblades to join the Guardians of Light.
"Watch yourself." "I got this." "Goin' up!" "Any last words?" "That's another one in the books." "Teamwork makes the dream work."
Neku Sakuraba joins the Keyblade Army. Armed with the Skull Noise Keyblade, he partners up with Sora's team to save the worlds and their people from erasure. He's not afraid to let his heart sync up with others to fight for what makes life worth living.
Part of the "Keyblade Army" series, which will pit both heroes and villains in battle carrying Keyblades of their own.
*I initially intended to draw Neku as he appears in NEO: The World Ends With You for this, but then I started drawing him as he appeared in the original game and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance before I realized what I was doing. I'll draw him in his later appearance one day, maybe.

kh scribbles #1
me? angst?? never! anyways here's some kh3 Sora angst I wrote during my eighth play through
~~~
His arms feel heavier. Eyelids drooping, head hung low, shoulders quivering.
Sora knows he holds himself differently with his power gone. With barely any time to adjust to a grown body before combat, much less a grown body not teeming with rich magic and ties and bonds, Sora knows he looks weak.
Donald and Goofy are apprehensive, Riku and Kairi fuss, Yen Sid divvies smaller missions and lesser stakes. They see it.
Weakness coats him like thick, suffocating slime, and they see it.
Wielding a Keyblade once meant something. Sora was unique for carrying one, abandoned for losing one. Everyone carries a blade now. They wield it better and stronger and quicker.
His heart was a fortress, a safe haven for wayward spirits and hearts without homes. Friendship and the ties that bound it were always stronger in Sora. Everyone is connected to each other now, through hearts, phones, and ships. Hearts don’t need a home anymore.
Everything that made Sora strong makes someone else stronger. He shares his abilities with a dozen other more capable bodies; bodies that don’t shake under pressure, bodies that aren’t breathless after battle, bodies that passed the exam.
Sora once fought an army of a thousand without breaking. Now one foe winds him. He wonders if Riku was right, if he never was meant to wield the Keyblade. As soon as there were superiors its power failed — his power — and he needed rescue from others he once saved. His friends are his strength, not the other way around.
Sora counts the days until he is cast aside again; the boy with the wooden sword has served his purpose. It isn’t long. Soon seven lights will go to war. He knows he isn’t one of them. He knows his utility is short lived.
For now, though, he will bask in the little missions, soon to become memories and stories from when he was useful, powerful, needed. He will bathe in this light until it fades. Then in the darkness he will recall a time when his arms were light, eyes wide, head held high. A time when he meant something. When he was strong.
The armies of darkness may feel endless, especially now. But every dark night has a beautiful dawn waiting.
Will you be there to greet it?
First piece of 2025, and the end result of that project we mentioned a bit ago.
Blacklight (Left) and Sol Seraphim (Right)
Our first and only foray into blender. We promised ourselves we'd at least try to make ourselves a pair of Keyblades about half a year ago I think?
And after the whole. Process of learning it, yeah, we're probably never touching it again. At least not for character modeling. But, hey, at least we got these out of it!
I have this weird mental image in my head
Vanitas, feed up with all the shit MX has put him through, decided to mess with MX’s carefully crafted 13 v 7
He starts bequeathing kids like it’s going out of style
He ditched the dark suit because he knows it screams evil.
‘Hey you look like Sora’ vanitas hears for the 8th time today
‘he’s my brother, anyway want a magic sword ’
‘You’re just giving them away?’
‘We need more people to take care of the monster problem, you in?’
‘Yes!’
‘Hold this’ keyblade noises ’if you have the the makings yada yada yada, there’
That’s it?’
‘Yeah good luck’
Hayner, Pence , Olett, Hiro, Yuffie, even the braid girls from Rapunzel
You get a keyblade and you get a keyblade and you get a keyblade
13 v 7 turns into 12 v 32
Vanitas enjoys the chaos from afar while snacking on some popcorn
laughs nonny you were so excited about this ask you sent it to me six times, so forgive me for only answering it once.
but also FUCK YEAH THIS IS AN AMAZING IDEA. Vanitas unrepentantly ruining shit for everyone, he is here for the chaos, he sees Hayner, Pence, and Olette try to deck Xehanort and he's like lol you know what you kids deserve these.
Sora and co wander away from a princess of heart and there's Vanitas, sauntering over like "heeyyyy hold this for a second? thanks."
Boo has a Keyblade. Boo is way too young to fight a war but she sure does have a Keyblade.
Hercules? Sure. Good swinging arms. Rapunzel's keyblade is frying pan themed. Flynn's could use some work. Elsa is gonna need some tips from Aqua for sure. Anna is scarily enthusiastic about running in and bashing things over the head.
The final battle is about to occur, and here comes Vanitas, smirking like crazy.
And behind him, a veritable army of what the fuckery.
And it is magic.
A Keyblade born from the heart and will of the Mandalorian Sabine Wren. Forged from the metal native to her home world and crafted in the image of her iconic Starbird, its power comes from the melding of all that she has experienced, loved, and lost throughout her life. The keychain is her mother's hair piece, a sole reminder of the strength Ursa Wren carried until the end of her days - and that now lives on her through her daughter.
The Inheritance Ceremony:
"Sabine Wren: in your hand, take this Key.
So long as you have the making, then through this simple act of taking, its wielder you will be.
Fire-forged, your heart shall always be - forever shaped by life's tragedy.
But by burning bright, your enemies will flee before your flame.
The galaxy will remember your name.
You will be like your symbol, the Starbird that never dies.
A heart once caged by despair will now soar through the skies."
A Keyblade born from the heart and will of the Jedi Ezra Bridger. It symbolizes all he stands for, forged with all the wisdom and power offered from the Jedi path he walks. With all he has experienced, combined with his master's lessons, Ezra Bridger has become a true Jedi at last. Kanan Jarrus is never far from the young man's mind, and the fallen Jedi Knight's influence is present within the heart of this weapon.
The Inheritance Ceremony:
"Ezra Bridger: in your hand, take this Key.
So long as you have the making, then through this simple act of taking, its wielder you will be.
This dark Empire you fight cannot restrain you now.
And one day you will help force its final bow.
You may be but one tiny light to show the way -
But the spark you give will let others live in a brighter day."
Story Summary:
An old enemy seeks vengeance on Sabine and Ezra, promising to usher in a new wave of darkness from beyond their galaxy . . .
This world has been connected. Tied to the dark.
During the peace of the New Republic, Sabine Wren finds herself thrust into an adventure while investigating the ruins of ancient portal on Lothal that led to a mythical place called "The World Between Worlds". There she encounters a foe long thought dead, guarding a mysterious Door that has appeared where the Mortis Gods mural once stood . . .
Stranded on an unknown planet in a far-away galaxy and dreaming of home, Ezra Bridger sees an unusual ship crash land in front of him. The ship's pilot, a strange mouse-like creature referring to himself as "King Mickey", warns him of an advancing army of shadows called "Heartless" that seeks to consume the heart of his home planet, Lothal . . .
Hearts crossing through time and space. The two best friends are reunited once more, armed with mystical weapons called "Keyblades", facing a dark adversary that has vowed to return the Empire to its former glory - and more. But the true battle lies within, as they both will face a decision at the battle's end that requires sacrifice beyond what they have ever known . . .
Coming soon to a Galaxy near you . . .
