Also tbh, I have roughly the same canon interpretation of Bianchi and Reborn's relationship hfsvfgsvfd Bianchi is genuine about it, but Reborn is just humoring her/is not really serious about it. Because if I were to interpret that in the canon material that we have that Reborn somehow reciprocates it, it kind of feels underwhelming compared to all the interactions that he has with other characters for me. In my eyes, if he were to really be in a romantic relationship with someone, it wouldn't rlly be in that type of way. So that type of interpretation made sense for me. Also!!! You're so right, Bianchi would totally fight for Reborn in the Curse of the Rainbow Arc!!! Like even if Reborn didn't pick her as a rep, I believe she'll find a way to somehow participate and fight for him, because a part of her character I really love is how passionate she is about the people/things she loves (and that includes her fondness for Reborn!).

Though I guess from a power scaling perspective, it's not hard to imagine that Amano-sensei would find it difficult to include her (despite having offensive abilities) because she didn't really receive enough power-ups to catch up with the rest of the main cast 😭😭😭 I hate that I sound like a shounen dudebro but it's the truth

What canon character does your OC respect a lot?

She would never actually admit it but it’s Sephira! However, in true [Redacted] fashion, unable to properly express (or understand) her true feelings or thoughts, this kinda manifests and comes out as jealousy! Quite spiteful jealousy in fact! I hope to explore this better once the time comes so I won’t go into too much detail right now. But luckily Sephira is one of the few people very good at reading [Redacted] so she never takes it personally and even thinks it’s quite cute.

There are a lot of people Apple eventually comes to view and love as family! To give a quick list:

And of course eventually her own kids (and other character’s kids)!

How does your OC feel about Bianchi?

This portion is gonna be a bit of me rambling about canon for a bit so please bear with me!!! (I’ll put it under the cut) 

(FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS PORTION IF YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT MY THOUGHTS AND JUST WANNA READ ABOUT THE APPLE AND BIANCHI DYNAMIC. I’LL TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN START READING AGAIN)

So! For those who know me know I like to keep my work as canon compliant as possible and though in my story I do make some changes (as one naturally needs to do when adding in an OC to a work. Some changes like this one are minor but there are some large changes too) I still try my best to adhere to this where I can. That being said, here’s what stays the same in In Somnis. Bianchi is still in love with Reborn! And still pursues him to Japan and all the good canon stuff we all know and love happens. The thing that’s different is how the relationship between them is handled! 

In my personal opinion I never really interpreted the relationship as one Reborn took seriously. I always interpreted it as Reborn is mostly humouring her and saying she’s his mistress to get a reaction out of Tsuna because that’s what he loves doing. Not to mention the relationship does such a disservice to Bianchi down the line like it’s funny and all for the first two arcs but Bianchi!!! You can’t tell me she wouldn’t rip off someone's arm for one of the watches in the final arc!! She would absolutely fight for her someone she loves and to not have her do so is not a good look for her character!! Anyway, apologies I just have a lot of thoughts about her lol.

However, in In Somnis (and I feel comfortable going into detail about this since I don’t know if I’ll be able to cover this in detail when the time comes) Reborn would, of course, not be calling Bianchi his mistress (except he absolutely tells Tsuna she’s one of his many admirers to still get a reaction out of him lol). In fact, from the very beginning when Bianchi pursues Reborn he always tells her he can’t take her as his lover as he already has one. But nevertheless she pursues him anyway because Bianchi isn’t one to back down!!!

The June Bride chapter/episode proceeds as normal except at the end Tsuna asks Reborn if he really plans on marrying Bianchi and Reborn answers that he doesn’t since he already has a lover (Tsuna: stop saying that!! Who the hell would date a baby!?). Bianchi is upset by this but once again says she isn’t giving up because her feelings of love are true and unwavering. And Reborn responds that his (for his lover) are as well. And that’s when it kinda sinks in that he’s not gonna return her affections and she’s rather heartbroken but she gains respect for him in a different way. She views his devotion and loyalty with admiration and only grows to respect him more since one thing she hates is disloyal men (since she got cheated on before and all). She ends up accepting reality gracefully even if she tells him she’ll always love him. Because at the end of the day Bianchi loves love ❤️

When Apple first meets Bianchi she is immediately on guard since she knows Bianchi is in love with Reborn so that’s gotta spell trouble for her (not to mention she’s a highly skilled assassin). And Bianchi definitely plays into it a bit, but mostly because she wants to test Apple to see if her love is as pure and true as her own, and if she’s worthy of all the devotion Reborn has shown her. So the two don’t get off on the best foot since they both go into the relationship immediately assuming the worst of each other’s intentions. But once they get past that first hurdle it’s a pretty smooth friendship! In Apple’s opinion Bianchi is still a little too intense for her at times but she respects her a lot as a person and as a fellow Reborn simp! So all that to say, Apple quite likes Bianchi and considers her someone she enjoys chatting, and occasionally hanging out with!

She does not want to be the 11th Vongola after her father passes. she's a fairly boring person, with no dreams or aspirations after being raised to believe she is the next line, but she must. so she runs away after the murder of her father, resulting in a manhunt.

it’s been years since i watched it and i forgot how good it fucking was. i was losing my fucking mind, holy hell, just,,,EVERYTHING about it!!

when ichigo screams and snaps everyone out of it. the little horrified gasp soi fon does. hitsugaya fucking SNAPPING, going absolutely feral, just literally losing his goddamn mind, jesus fucking christ.

and don’t get me started on the music, so fucking good, a big part that sublimely added to the scene, and i need to binge listen bleach ost right now.

i use to think of bleach as one of the big three once upon a time, but i don’t think it actually was? i know the actual big three are/were dbz, naruto, and one piece, but also i know bleach was really popular at some point, and was put right there next to or very near the big three.

and like, it fucking earned it. i know it kind of went south with the last few arcs, but fuck, come on, this one fight single handedly is proof it fucking earned its place.

also i can’t remember if i was spoiled this ballsy plot twist--i don’t think i was--but even when i watched it while knowing everything that was going to happen, i was still INCREDIBLY hyped. and honestly it was so masterfully done, i think i’ll always be hyped while watching it.

though please, PLEASE, don’t spoil yourself and watch the video without context!!!

i swear the whole build up to it is not only very good, but makes the scene so much better. and also it’s GOOD, everything from the soul society arc to the hueco mundo arc to the karakura town war arc is hands down my favorite arcs from any animanga (tho karakura town war is best of best<3).

If we're gonna keep putting Desmond in as The Isekai Protagonist then we should whole hog and add in the iconic System or Gamer System 'gift' so many other Isekai/Tensei Protags seem to get like it's the New Age Syphilis.

But with my own little twist I once proposed when I was more into KHR (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) fandom though it never really caught on. Desmond's Gamer System functions like some other games instead of the usual adventure RPG. Maybe its one, maybe its some, maybe its all of them- either way, it's certainly not something like Pokemon or the Final Fantasy series.

Instead, it's like an idle game, a match 3, a rhythm game, or a merge game. Hell, the one time he got a bingo game; he won Mega Bingo, almost got brained by the giant chest full of gold and jewels, and then it never appeared before him again.

He did like the idle cat games though. (The cats were very cute. A bit hard to explain all the cats though.)

“New Age Syphilis” lollol. Yeah, let’s give Desmond the geek-syphilis. XD

Okay, okay, okay.

If we’re going for other genres, my first thought is the scourged of the land, the anti-christ of the modern gaming world:

Loot-boxes/Gacha-mechanics

And it’s the worst kind. The kind that does not give pity ‘roll’ or have the ‘if you roll 300 times, you can pick one of these choices because goddamn your rng sucks wtf???’.

And that’s not even the genre, no, no, no.

That’s the “REWARD”.

Even if Desmond clears something via idle game, match 3, etc, he still has to do a gacha roll to get his reward.

And, to make it more annoying for him, the world he is in right now, everything has different game mechanics and it’s a whiplash at times. Sometimes, it feels more like minigames which is fine. The idle cat game is really just Desmond relaxing for the day and playing with cats.

But then, there are instances where Desmond gets a headache because…

Car chase? Boom! Racing game controls and gameplay!

About to assassinate someone? QTEs! QTEs everywhere!

Desmond gets his own land? He suddenly has game notifications and tutorials for town-building mechanics.

There’s supposed to be some kind of monster infestations? Welp. Desmond, your town-building mechanics just got pushed for tower-defense mechanics. Oh, and the shit you can build? You guessed it! GACHA ROLLS!

Want to fuck with Desmond even more?

The tutorials are just pages and pages of what he can do like someone from Koei-Tecmo made the damn thing.

You know what would be funny?

If Desmond realizes that some of the rewards he gets from the gacha rolls are his ancestors, they’re the highest USSR/6Stars reward with a probability of 3%. Goodbye slacker life, it’s time for Desmond to grind for those Isu shards just to get some sweet, sweet rolls.

(Nobody tell him that there are also Holiday alts that have a possibility of 1%)

Just a rough sketch for now because we're still figuring out their design ngl. But Dai-chan's is either mostly final like that (?) or will change slightly more. Then Yuzuru's and [redacted]'s still need some more tweaking because this is probably around the 2nd or 3rd time I tried drawing them ever. Yuzuru is not necessarily new, but I've started to figure out his character again since we have more story material now.

[Nameless] — Here's the thing! not only is he attractive in appearance but he has such a warm and kind energy to him that it only adds to his attractiveness!

Luciano — he's almost a carbon copy of his dad (Reborn) and Reborn is canonically attractive so yes! He is attractive!

Luna — Once again her father's genes come in so strong here so yes she's attractive. And she's tall too so she's definitely been recruited to be a model a few times while out and about

Nico — So he (Unfortunetly /lh /j) takes after his mother more so in looks but somehow he pulls it off. Maybe it's his father's genes working over time because he's still considered objectively attractive by most

Above Average:

Celina — She's pretty! She has features which would be considered conventionally attractive. It does come with a slight eerie out of this world (/neg) vibe though that makes her hard to approach...

Alder — He's a charmer! He's got such a bright and friendly demeanor too so others can't help but think he's quite attractive to look at as a result too. This shows personality really does matter. Though like in every other aspect in his life, he's always a step behind his brother...

Dante — Pretty good looking! Kind of forgettable compared to others but he's the kind of person that the longer you stare the more you realize how attractive he is.

Antonio — He's got his mother and father's good looks! I wouldn't say there's anything absolutely wowing about him in appearance but he's a good looking guy and he takes care of himself.

[Redacted] — okay, the thing about [Redacted] is she is very low on this list. She's bordering just being average. But like I said before she has nice hair and the "True Earthling"/out of this world aura adds to her appeal... kinda.

Average

Apple — I think she could certainly be some people's type! She definitely leans cuter in appearance in some regards. But for the most part she's just an average gal!

Okay and!!! I do technically have way more ocs that are more varied!! But I haven't introduced them yet so I'll just stick to these guys for now! Thanks for the question June!!
