Ngl pretty lucky I did not end up being an East Asian from the Big 3 countries China, Korea, and Japan

Ok that's not completely accurate I have Chinese heritage on both sides of the family but it was, like, mixed people marrying mixed people (and all of these people were born &raised in the ph) until their children still Looked Chinese but would not be able to tell you a single Chinese word or anything

Seeing ppl do or say anything about Korean ppl or Japanese people or Chinese people is worrying ngl

I have the most experience w the Korean weirdness ngl cause Korean culture stuff has gotten real popular over the years and our close proximity to Korea has meant like it's even easier for kstuff to spread

Also there's a bunch of Korean PPL visiting, living, and setting up businesses here and one of the places I live in and frequent has a lot of Koreans living there

I never got super into Kpop stuff ig and even the stuff I did get into (like mostly kdramas and some food stuff) didn't make me super weird Abt them like they're still normal people to me

And it's sooooo weird seeing PPL who are Not Normal about Koreans just BC of Kpop idol stuff like bro 💀💀💀 that is a normal teenager stop screaming & swooning at him it's weird and you're so loud I can literally hear you from 2 floors down

I remember a saleslady was trying to sell me makeup by saying like it would make me look Korean or something along those lines and I was just like nah no thank you I'm good

Also I've already gotten mistaken as Korean prob partly due to living in an area w a high amount of them but also it's definitely the Chinese genes

Remembering that time I sent a picture of a BTS poster and my friend somehow thought I was one of them??? Anyway I'm sleepy ans my phone is low bat idk why I typed this rant over
