A Woman Dressing by Anders Zorn - 1893 Masterpiece
A woman stands with her back to us, mid-motion, wrapped in the hush of her own world. There is no spectacle — only fabric drawn over skin, light settling gently on the curve of her spine. Zorn doesn’t intrude; he observes, allowing the moment to breathe, to remain honest. She is not a subject, not a muse — she simply is.
The intimacy lies in the ordinariness: a daily ritual rendered eternal. Warm ochres and soft shadows cradle her form, not to idealize, but to honour the quiet grace of being unseen. This is not a painting of beauty displayed — it is beauty lived, fleeting, unposed, and wholly human.

*Suddenly panicked, Heinrix came to Rogue Trader's study in a trance. The scene that met his eyes shocked him ----
Finally the painting was finished! Timed to Chapter 2, this is the story of a Rogue Trader who is overstressed and picks up a xenoconstruct that increases her emotions, and is pushed to the brink by her own fears and sense of duty.
While creating I scratched my head and thought a lot about how to express what I wanted and how to express the feelings I wanted to express well, and for that reason I felt creatively anxious and agonized, after all, I was putting my heart and soul into the work. This went on for more than twenty days, and so caused my suffering,(Not me personally being mentally traumatized, don't worry about it!)I created this homage to release my feelings, and I apologize if it made you feel uncomfortable.
At the same time, the pain of translating this story is no worse than drawing it, English is my second language, and the Warhammer terminology is crushing me, so I apologize if any of it doesn't come across well, and I hope that any readers who see the errors can leave a comment to help me improve.
I look forward to your feedback on this story, it may take me a while to repair the trauma and dryness it has caused me, and your replies can speed up that repair process!

The Pre-Hollywood Ingrid Bergman films I have seen and whether or not I would recommend them (mostly for @mean-lesbians who has had to endure a lot of my yapping about these movies):
En kvinnas ansikte (1938): The same as the 1941 Joan Crawford movie, a cool woman with disfiguring facial scars gets miraculous plastic surgery and now she doesn't have to crime anymore because she's beautiful or whatever. I actually did like it and I would recommend it, but mostly on the merit of Ingrid's performance
Juninatten (1940): if i had a nickel for every time Ingrid Bergman played a "bad girl trying to make good" I would have.... more than one nickel at the very least. This one is a movie that I enjoyed up to a point (about the last 10% of the film) where it took a dramatic nosedive). I had to rant to so many people about it, even to tumblr. I wouldn't not recommend it, but the ending is a little infuriating.
Munkbrogreven (1935): She was such a little baby in this!! And she was wonderful. It's not the sort of movie you need to do much thinking about, but it is a good deal of fun, so I would recommend.
Swedenhielms (1935): If you want to watch an Ingrid Bergman movie, don't watch this one. She's good in it, but only when she's in it, which isn't much. Tutta Rolf is fun and they have good chemistry in the one scene they share, but otherwise... meh.
Valborgsmässoafton (1935): don't watch this one. yeah she's pretty and whatever. but don't. the movie makes me angry.
Intermezzo (1936): if you watch only one film from this list, make it Intermezzo, though whether you watch the original Swedish or the 1939 English version doesn't matter, the two movies are almost shot-for-shot the same. I liked the costuming in the English version better. This is the film that brought her to the US for the first time and you can see why.
Dollar (1938): If you like seeing rich people being bitchy at each other, watch this film. If you don't like seeing a terrible caricature of an American done by Swedes in the 1930s, don't watch this film.
Die vier Gesellen (1938): Her only German film. It made me angry for a lot of it too. Completely unrealistic, if you were one of Ingrid Bergman's three girlfriends you would never think to leave her. No need to watch this one.
En enda natt (1939): Her role is smaller in this one, though bigger than it was in Swedenhielms. The film certainly focuses more around the central main dude than anyone else. He's charming enough but there are some points where he can really piss you off. Something that pleased me, though, is that (although some moments made me afraid) Ingrid's character did not end up in love/married off, it's even implied that she will go on to become a doctor!
I still have a few of her pre-hollywood films left to see, mostly ones that I haven't been able to find in any capacity, but this is what I will leave you with tonight.
TLDR:
Watch - En kvinnas ansikte, Munkbrogreven, Intermezzo, Dollar, En enda natt
Skip (unless you really feel like it) - Juninatten, Swedenhielms, Valborgsmässoafton, Die vier Gesellen

I read about this recently in a book on adhd. Couldn't find the exact quote, but to paraphrase:
When it comes to a lot of everyday tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc.) people with ADHD take longer to develop autopilot than their neurotypical peers. A person with ADHD tends to do these tasks manually to a larger degree, which is more mentally demanding as it requires focus.

Hi I was today years old when I realized some people truly don’t have to think about every single thing they do. They don’t have to have an imaginary set of rules (I’m not allowed to put on my bra until I’ve brushed my teeth) to function.

Re-listening to Räven by Hedningarna for the first time in ages, and goddamn, I forgot how hard some of these lines go. Kinda wanna make a post about my favorites but unfortunately I do not think they'd translate to English well...

Love is a rare thing out there, känns det i vissa stunder."
Men det passar in här.
Närbesläktat till detta ämne är då figurerna i NMR. Dessa höll då under sensommaren 2018 en olaglig demonstration på en flotte (!) på Stockholms ström. Se Tobias H:s inlägg från 2018.

Jag lär mig svenska, och jag har undrat- there seem to be three different words for "girl". I know you're not a teacher but I was wondering if I could ask you what the difference between them are?
Flicka - original/traditional Swedish, these days mostly refers to younger girls, a bit more formal (the male version of this word is pojke)
Tjej - borrowed word from Romani, very common, a little bit more casual vibes than flicka, no real age limit tho an older woman might not be entirely correct (the male version of this is kille, also from romani)
Kvinna - literally woman, an adult girl (tbh I’m not sure if this is the third word you’re referring to but it’s the first that really comes to mind)
Hona - female, a female animal, cannot be used to refer to humans the same way the word female sometimes is in English (the male version of this is hane)
BONUS INFO:
Both flickvän and tjejkompis is technically the same word but still has different meanings. Flicka and tjej both means girl - vän and kompis both means friend. Despite this flickvän means romantical girlfriend while tjejkompis is a platonical friend that’s a girl.
Same applies to pojkvän (romantic) and killkompis (platonic).
