K-Pop Scandals 2023

This year had a lot of scandals, from serious abuse allegations and harmless dating scandals, to quite a few contract disputes between idols and companies. There were also a lot of news of members leaving their groups, fans being a pain in the ass and sending embarrassing protest trucks for pretty much anything, etc. So, check out my annual list of the most important k-pop scandals of 2023.

DKZ's Jaechan revealed his true feelings about teammate's departure and DKZ's future plans.

On the afternoon of the 6th, Jaechan held a media showcase to commemorate the release of his first solo mini album "JCFACTORY" at Yes 24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

Recently, DKZ, to which Jaechan belongs, has undergone a member change to 5-member, when Kyoungyoon left the group.

On the same day, Jaechan opened up about Kyung-yoon's withdrawal, saying, "Actually, we talked a lot with the members, and if I said it wasn't difficult, I think it would be a lie."

Jaechan added, "We are all colleagues who have been together for a long time, so it is difficult for everyone, but other than that, we agreed that in the future we should work together to provide our fans and the public with pleasant energy. In the future, we will I will work harder." He expressed his feelings.

Jaechan then mentioned DKZ’s future activities. He said "We still have a lot of discussions among members and with company about the activities of the group, about 'What direction should we take?' Because the composition of the members has changed, activities have been limited. Now, we are in "It’s a process of creating something and I think once this process is over, we will be active again,” he said.

In addition, Jaechan's first solo album "JC Factory" will be released on major music websites at 6 pm on the same day.

Hi love, kyoungyoon left the cult as soon as he found out he was a victim. So he left months ago. But now he just announced he's leaving dkz and going into the military :(

I feel sorry for the kids who grew up in such a situation, because they wouldn't have known any better.
