"H-huh? Where am I...?"

Octa spun around on her heel, looking up and down. She realized that she was wearing a plain, white strapless dress, with no other articles. She wasn't even wearing shoes, and yet when her feel shuffled across the grainy white ground, she felt nothing.

Black spikes were jutting from the ground. What were they for? Where exactly was she?"

"...Octa, can you hear me...?"

"Y...Yeah!" She shouted, not even asking who the voice belonged to. "Where are you?"

"...Octa, come find me...I'm forgetting...you're forgetting..."

"What do you mean I'm forgetting...? How can I..."

"You're the only one who can find me. Please..."

Octa sat up from her bed, looking around frantically, gasping for breath. Looking to her left, she saw that it was four in the morning and she seemingly has knocked several of her stuffed animals on the floor.

"Wha...that was a really weird dream..." She mumbled, rubbing her eyes and grabbing her phone off the nightstand, opening up the messenger.

[Jesse, are you awake?] She typed quickly, sending the message. Three little dots appeared on her screen as a reply was being made.

[haha yeah. i'm on observation duty for splatsville atm. u okay?]

[Yeah I'm okay. I just had a nightmare a second ago.]
