Some Oak Twins Regressor & Caregiver Combo!!

Since I’ve been rambling to my friend bout it for the fic I’ve mentioned bout posting on here.

Sparrow & Lark Oak-Garcia

These two are very much flip-flop on who’s the caregiver & age regressor before the rest of the S1 Kids post season 1 learns of them.

With Sparrow!

•Is the caregiver more often than not very attentive to lark when he’s regressed & deeming him as baby brother when lark is little. But often is usually sitting with his brother watching shows Lark wants to ,eating snacks or playing games.

• While Regressed we have two options for Sparrow, whose like 2-4yrs old on the younger side usually, likes to be babied a tiny bit, loves to draw,cuddle,etc

• Or we have pet regressor sparrow who uses his wild shape to be a wolf and it’s all just play time, be outside, rough housing, tail wags,etc which lark happily indulges his brother whatever he’s feeling.

With Lark!

• As a caregiver just as attentive, but also spoils his brother a lot when he can. A rarely ever actually saying no to Sparrow type deal.

•But while regressed much more quiet,huffy & fussy very picky bout a lot of things and clings behind sparrow. Likes surprisingly a lot more calming things and just staying in his room.

•Is prone to regressing more often than sparrow does but is usually on the slightly older side being 4-6yrs old whenever he regresses.

Both!

• It’s rare for both the twins to be regressed at the same time but when they do it’s often just a marathon of movies with snacks.

• Sit in jammies and have their toys or if sparrow is inclined to be a wolf during the time ,just weighted blanket essentially for lark as they cuddle and just have an easy day.

• They have a lot of matching regression gear items labeled nicely and everything and do have a secret stash of fruit snacks and stuff for them to have.

•even when the rest of the group finds out they usually are more inclined to go to each other before relying on the others, unless it’s a day they’re both regressed which I can see them going to chill with one of the others in the group if they don’t mind the company of the twins while regressed.

Would you guys like a full like kiddads story?

I’ve been rotating them in my brain for this au and there is age regression within the story in a way of navigating the realization of being a regressor, and slowly coming to terms with it, with a whole bunch of other?

Since more of an au i may change things that happened in s1 slightly

But a very slice of life but fantasy too with the kiddads navigating their years since leaving the forgotten realms and more!

Mostly from the twins Lark & Sparrow pov.

going insane thinking about sparrow and lark again. they are the same kid twice growing up. the same man twice as adults.

even identical twins usually end up looking quite different from one another as they age. differences in personality, hobbies, professions, etc all factor into who they are and how they look. yet sparrow and lark are still so similar that it's hard to tell them apart. even with as different as they are, they can still pass as one another well enough to fool normal.

i know in a lot of fan art, people give lark a bushy beard, or give sparrow long hair. even in the official art lark has a beard. but that cannot be right. these two take their identical-ness and make it a part of their identity. a single identity. if lark starts growing out a beard, sparrow is doing his best to do that too. if sparrow can't grow a beard, lark is shaving immediately. if sparrow wants to grow out his hair, that's a conversation with lark, because what if lark doesn't want long hair? they need to be identical, not close enough. if it wouldn't drive them both crazy, i'm sure they'd dress the same too.

if one of them thought he might be trans, that's an egg he would refuse to crack. if sparrow had even the smallest inkling in his head that he might actually want to be a woman, that would be shoved into the farthest corners of his mind, so far away that it's impossible to claw out again, because lark's not trans. sparrow would rather be uncomfortable in his own body than be different from his brother, because at the end of the day his brother is half of himself, and he cannot bear to let their shared identity slip away. this is another reason i'm mentally unwell about the oak family.
