It is underhanded to try and provoke Nico but well, he is Fernando’s protegee so insisting to everyone on the fan stage that really Nico would be jealous if Gabi took a man out on a date is just him learning from seeing Mark flustered on live tv insisting he would not want to be married to Fernando. If Gabi starts by getting under Nico’s skin in person then it will surely reach the point that he won’t need to be in his presence at all. Mark took years to crack but if Fernando is the master then Gabi is the apprentice and it is his duty to Fernando’s mentorship to break Nico faster.

Or that had been the theory, a decent theory, a theory that Gabi can now fully admit needs some work.

I'm not sure what you mean by surprise! some of the fics I knew about in advance because the writers told me, while others were revealed to me along with everyone else!

I truly believe every author correctly used there discretion as to what constitutes a rarepair, but I'm going to list some fics with pairings I never even considered -- they all make great arguments for their pairing imo
