Expert Techniques for Natural-Looking Dermal Filler Results
Dermal fillers have become a popular solution for individuals seeking to rejuvenate their appearance without undergoing invasive surgery. When done correctly, dermal fillers can provide subtle, natural-looking results that enhance facial features and restore lost volume. However, achieving these results requires skill and precision. In this article, we will explore expert techniques for achieving natural-looking dermal filler results.
1. The Importance of a Natural Approach
The primary goal of dermal filler treatments is to enhance the face’s natural beauty, not to create an exaggerated or artificial appearance. When dermal fillers are used skillfully, they can smooth wrinkles, restore volume, and refine facial contours, while maintaining a balanced and youthful look.
A natural-looking result should complement a person’s individual facial structure, rather than drastically altering it. This approach requires expertise, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy.
2. Understanding Facial Anatomy for Natural Results
Before injecting any dermal filler, an experienced practitioner will evaluate the unique anatomy of the patient’s face. Every person’s bone structure, skin quality, and facial muscles are different, so the approach to dermal fillers must be customized.
Key considerations include:
Bone structure: Areas such as the cheeks, jawline, and under-eyes are directly influenced by bone structure. A filler should be placed in a way that enhances these structures without distorting them.
Skin quality: Thicker skin may require deeper injections to ensure the filler stays in place, while thinner skin may need more superficial placement for a more subtle effect.
Facial muscles: Injecting into areas with significant muscle movement, like around the mouth and eyes, requires precision to ensure that the filler doesn’t interfere with natural expressions.
3. Gradual Approach to Volume Restoration
One of the key techniques used by experts is a gradual approach to volume restoration. Instead of overfilling certain areas in one session, injectors often opt for multiple treatments spaced out over time. This method allows for:
A more controlled enhancement: By adding small amounts of filler at regular intervals, the injector can better assess the results and make adjustments if needed.
Prevention of overfilling: Gradual volume restoration reduces the risk of an overfilled or unnatural appearance. It allows the skin to adjust to the changes as the filler settles.
4. Soft, Layered Techniques for Facial Contouring
Expert injectors often use layered techniques when performing dermal filler injections. Rather than applying a large amount of filler in one spot, they may inject small amounts into different layers of the skin. This technique helps achieve a more contoured and natural look, ensuring that the filler integrates seamlessly with the skin’s surface.
For example:
Cheeks: A layered technique might involve injecting filler deeper into the subcutaneous fat to restore volume and lift, followed by more superficial injections to smooth the skin’s surface.
Jawline: For a more natural contour, dermal fillers may be injected in small amounts along the jawline, with careful attention to the angles and symmetry of the face.
5. Using the Right Type of Filler for Natural Results
Choosing the right type of dermal filler is crucial for achieving natural results. Different fillers have different properties, and each is best suited for specific areas of the face.
Hyaluronic acid fillers (like Juvederm and Restylane) are among the most popular for facial contouring. They provide a natural feel and integrate well with the skin, offering a smooth and flexible result.
Calcium hydroxylapatite fillers (such as Radiesse) are denser and more suitable for deeper areas, like the cheeks and jawline, where more structure is needed.
Poly-L-lactic acid fillers (like Sculptra) stimulate collagen production over time, offering gradual volume restoration and long-lasting results, making them ideal for people who want a more subtle transformation.
6. Strategic Placement and Minimalism
To ensure a natural look, the injector must be strategic in their placement of dermal fillers. A subtle approach is often the most effective:
Minimal volume: Less is often more. Using smaller amounts of filler helps to avoid the “overfilled” look, which can be especially noticeable in areas like the lips or cheeks.
Balanced proportions: A skilled injector knows how to maintain balance between different facial features. For example, lip fillers should not make the lips look too large or out of proportion with the rest of the face. Similarly, fillers in the cheeks should create a soft lift rather than a dramatic volume change.
The goal is to enhance the natural contours of the face, not to drastically alter them. By carefully considering the proportions of the face, an expert injector can deliver a result that feels harmonious and balanced.
7. Avoiding Common Mistakes
While dermal fillers are generally safe, there are common mistakes that can lead to unnatural results. These mistakes are often due to overuse of fillers or improper injection techniques. Some things to avoid include:
Overfilling: Too much filler in one area can cause lumps or asymmetry. It can also result in a “puffy” or “artificial” look.
Incorrect placement: Injecting filler too superficially or too deeply can cause uneven results or make the filler visible under the skin.
Ignoring facial anatomy: An expert injector understands the importance of maintaining facial harmony. Failing to take into account natural facial expressions and proportions can lead to an unnatural result.
8. The Role of Communication in Achieving Natural Results
Clear communication between the patient and the practitioner is key to achieving natural-looking dermal filler results. During the consultation, the patient should express their desired outcome, concerns, and expectations. The practitioner should assess the face and offer suggestions based on their professional expertise.
A skilled injector will also listen carefully to the patient’s concerns and desires, ensuring that the results align with the patient’s personal aesthetic preferences.
9. Aftercare for Natural Results
The results of dermal filler treatments are immediately visible, but they may take a few days to fully settle. Proper aftercare ensures that the fillers integrate well with the skin and that the results remain natural:
Avoid excessive touching or massaging of the treated areas.
Stay upright for several hours after the treatment to prevent filler migration.
Apply ice to reduce swelling or bruising.
Follow-up appointments: Some patients may need touch-ups after a few months, as fillers gradually break down over time.
10. Conclusion: Achieving Subtle, Natural-Looking Results
Dermal fillers can enhance the face’s natural beauty when administered correctly. The key to achieving natural-looking results lies in using expert techniques, a gradual approach, and an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy. Whether restoring volume, smoothing wrinkles, or refining contours, dermal fillers should work in harmony with the natural structure of the face. By choosing a skilled injector and discussing your aesthetic goals, you can achieve beautiful, subtle results that enhance your features without altering your appearance dramatically.

Since the idiot neighbors moved out and left behind 3 longhaired Scottish Folds and a very smush faced Persian - exactly what extra care do they need? We did the vet trip and got the Folds an injectable arthritis medicine (Sol-something?), Persian got dry eye drops, then all 4 get Dasquin. They also all got lion clips as they were tossed outside in the rain.
They have big under bed storage boxes for litter, then cat trees with lots of short steps up and down so it’s easier for them. We’re doing biweekly nail trims for them, they’re not huge fans but some chicken baby food has been accepted as a bribe.
Poor babies :( Thank you for looking after them.
So the Persian will probably require at least the occasional face cleaning. This is really easy. At its most basic, just dampen a soft washcloth with warm water and very gently moisten the eye canals and brush away the eye crud that accumulates there. Be careful not to scrape at it! You can accidentally remove fur if you try to pull the crud out before it softens. It's not a HUGE deal if you do this; it's mostly an aesthetic thing.
If there are large clumps, you can use a little clean eyebrow comb to remove them.
You're already keeping an eye on their paws--- cats with arthritis can't keep their nails trimmed down, so it's important to make sure no one is getting an overgrown claw.
For coat maintenance:
Slicker brush -- this really only handles the top coat unless you're careful and use a line brushing technique AND have one with very long teeth. But since your cats are currently in a lion trim, it'll do the trick.
Greyhound comb -- it's a metal comb and my personal favorite tool for this coat type. It's important to comb all the way to the skin--- that's where the mats will form. So often I'll have my hands on a cat with a perfect top coat and find mats under it.
Pin brush -- this gets through the layers of fur really nicely.
I do NOT recommend a furminator. They're very easy to overuse and then you end up with a cat with large patches of scant fur.
Your persian will probably have an easier time maintaining their coat than the folds. I find longhaired folds in particular are really bad at grooming. Or maybe the ones in my care just have REALLY shit coats :/ It's this weird, coarse feel; almost oily and mixed with the cottony soft undercoat of a Persian. It mats up SUPER fast and of course their joints hurt.

JJK OC IDEAS
Please help me decide what’s good and what I should and shouldn’t keep. New ideas are also welcome, I’m new to the jjk fandom.
Akatsuki Kiko Ayumu
Recently graduated from Tokyo Jujutsu High, Ayumu is a Special Grade Sorcerer who also happens to be a vessel to Sukuna’s daughter, Yamika. She is one of the only sorcerers who could rival Gojo and she could do it without Yamika. Her and Yamika have a sisterly, bff type bound.
Ideas 1:
Cursed Technique 1: Hemokinesis (Blood Manipulation)
Allows her to control and weaponize her own blood.
Scarlet Needles: She hardens droplets into needles midair and controls them like remote weapons.
Blood Wreath: Wraps herself in flowing blood that acts as both armor and offense—cutting anything it touches.
Drawback: Overuse causes severe anemia, dizziness, or even temporary blindness.
**Cursed Technique 2: Foresight Weaving (Fortune Telling)
A ritual-based technique using charms, dice, cards, or bones. Grants glimpses of potential future moments within a short time frame (5–10 seconds ahead max).
Quick Glimpse: Reflexive use allows her to dodge or anticipate enemy attacks.
Reading of Death: If she completes a full ritual (30 seconds undisturbed), she can view someone’s most likely death scenario—and weaponize that psychological knowledge.
Limitation: Visions aren’t guaranteed and may show misleading or symbolic outcomes. Overuse can cause confusion, nosebleeds, and hallucinations.
**Cursed Technique 3: Veil Mirage (Illusions)
Creates realistic illusions within a radius, layered with cursed energy to fool all five senses.
Phantom Doubles: Projects false versions of herself during combat.
Memory Traps: Alters an opponent’s sense of surroundings, making them think they’re reliving past traumas or locations.
Counters: Can be broken by Domain techniques or anyone with sharp cursed sensory perception.
Cursed Technique 4: Mental Displacement
Disrupts the opponent’s thoughts by injecting cursed energy directly into their mind.
Mind Lag: Briefly causes confusion or stuns enemies mid-battle, disrupting their decision-making or motor control.
Curse Whisper: Allows her to "speak" inside someone's mind, seeding doubt, fear, or false commands.
High Risk: Requires eye contact or direct focus—if resisted, it can backfire and cause mental strain or backlash.
Domain Expansion: The Crimson Tarot
A ritual space in the form of a floating red-tinted realm surrounded by spinning tarot cards and dripping sigils.
In this Domain, she can trap an opponent inside a single tarot card vision—forcing them to experience a “fated” outcome based on one of her future readings.
She can manipulate blood and illusions freely within the domain.
If her fortune telling is accurate, her power is amplified drastically. If it’s wrong, she becomes vulnerable during the backlash.
Personality:
Outward: Calm, regal, poetic speaker, always observing
Inner Conflict: Fears she may become like the curses she manipulates—beautiful but false
Habits: Carries tarot cards, wears rings filled with stored blood, burns incense when preparing to read fate
Ideas 2
Akatsuki Kiko Ayumu – Cursed Techniques Overview
Cursed Energy Style:
Refined, ritualistic, and emotionally controlled. Ayumu’s cursed energy feels cold, fluid, and sharp—like blood ink being drawn across a ritual scroll. She rarely wastes movement and calculates everything like a long-term fortune.
1. Bloodcrafting (Shōketsu no Jutsu | 血結術式)
Category: Offensive / Trap-based Ayumu manipulates her own blood, infused with cursed energy, into weapons, sigils, or tools. She doesn’t need external blood sources—her body regenerates slowly, but overuse weakens her.
Key Applications:
Crimson Vines – Razor-thin blood threads that wrap around or slice enemies like barbed wire.
Blood Sigils – Draws temporary glyphs on surfaces or air. They activate when touched, causing explosions, illusions, or paralysis.
Bloodbound Tether – Links her body to someone else’s—if they injure her, they suffer a mirrored wound (short duration).
Limitations: If she loses too much blood, her control becomes unstable and vision begins to blur.
2. Fortune Threading (Enkaku no Unmei | 遠隔の運命)
Category: Support / Predictive Ayumu reads spiritual threads of fate using cursed tools—usually bone dice, inked cards, or red string. This isn’t absolute prediction, but a glimpse at high-probability outcomes.
Key Applications:
Thread Sight – In battle, she sees faint threads representing actions the enemy may take. Lets her dodge, counter, or feint accurately.
False Fate – Can implant a false prediction into the enemy’s mind. Makes them question their next move.
Death Thread Ritual – Requires 15 seconds of uninterrupted casting. If completed, she sees how someone is most likely to die—and can use that knowledge to psychologically manipulate them.
Limitations: Cannot predict random variables (like someone under mental manipulation or outside interference).
3. Red Veil Illusions (Aka no Gen'ei | 赤の幻影)
Category: Illusion / Disruption Ayumu casts layered, multi-sensory illusions by weaving cursed energy into the five senses. These are usually subtle and manipulative rather than flashy.
Key Applications:
Sensory Swap – Temporarily reverses left/right or up/down sensations in enemies, disorienting them.
Echohall – Creates a hallway or room that loops infinitely until the target realizes it’s an illusion.
Whisper Illusion – Implants a voice into someone’s mind, mimicking a loved one or past trauma to break their guard.
Limitations: Illusions don’t work on those with Domain Amplification or extremely high cursed energy perception.
4. Mind Bloom (Shinsō no Hana | 心層の華)
Category: Psychological / Mental Invasion Ayumu can touch a person's cursed energy field and implant a thought, emotion, or subtle memory distortion.
Key Applications:
Emotion Shift – Causes enemies to feel false emotions like regret, joy, guilt, or dread—useful for interrupting combat rhythm.
Mirror Thought – Briefly syncs with an enemy’s instinctive thought process, letting her copy their fighting rhythm.
Memory Sway – Makes someone believe she said or did something she never did (e.g., "I already placed a seal on you").
Limitations: Requires close proximity or physical connection. Drains her focus, leaving her vulnerable if used too long.
Synergy Between Techniques:
Ayumu often starts fights indirectly, using illusions or false emotions to unnerve or confuse.
She uses blood sigils to control space and fortune threading to decide when to strike.
When pressed, she switches to Crimson Vines and Mirror Thought to engage in direct combat, never without a layered mind game.
Her opponents rarely realize she’s already influenced them—until it’s too late.
Ayumu is a young sorcerer known for her quiet intensity, emotional depth, and resilient heart. She’s not the loudest or the flashiest, but when she moves—people watch. There’s something in the way she carries herself, like she’s walking a tightrope between light and shadow, grace and rage.
Ayumu isn’t just strong because of cursed techniques or battle skills—she’s strong because she’s endured, she’s chosen, and she keeps choosing the harder path.
Core Personality Traits:
1. Empathetic but Not Soft
Ayumu feels deeply—pain, joy, sorrow—but she’s not fragile.
She doesn’t believe in looking away from suffering; instead, she stares it down and learns from it.
People come to her when they need quiet understanding, not loud motivation.
“You don’t have to say it. I already know. And I’m still here.”
2. Morally Grey, But Self-Aware
Ayumu isn’t a goody-goody hero. She’s made ruthless choices when she had to—but she owns them.
She holds others accountable, but never pretends to be perfect herself.
Believes the ends can justify the means—but only if you don’t lose yourself in the process.
3. Independent but Not Distant
She doesn’t rely on others emotionally, but she doesn’t isolate either.
She values earned trust and mutual respect, not blind loyalty.
If you earn her friendship, it’s for life—but betray her, and you’ll never get back in.
4. Intellectually Sharp
Ayumu reads people well—picks up on microexpressions, tone shifts, lies.
She's strategic in battle, often reading the flow of cursed energy and intent before others do.
She’s also emotionally intelligent, which is part of why Yamika listens to her.
5. Quietly Rebellious
She doesn’t start fights with authority—but she never blindly obeys it.
If the higher-ups make a call she disagrees with, she’ll find her own way—even if it means going rogue.
She questions everything and often chooses compassion over command.
Motivations and Inner Conflict:
Her Main Drive:
To protect what matters without becoming what she hates.
Ayumu is always asking herself:
How far can I go before I become a monster?
What’s the point of saving others if I lose myself?
Can someone like me—who holds a curse inside—still do good in this world?
These questions keep her grounded. They’re what separate her from sorcerers who become twisted by the system—or by their own trauma.
Combat Style (Briefly, without techniques):
Fluid and fierce—Ayumu blends elegance with lethal efficiency.
Fights with a measured calm, striking only when necessary—but when she does, it’s devastating.
Uses misdirection, feints, and psychological tactics to unnerve enemies.
Relationships & Interactions:
With Yamika:
As we explored, Ayumu sees Yamika as a companion, not a curse. Their bond is her most dangerous and most meaningful connection.
With Mentors (Gojo, Nanami):
Gojo likes her for her unpredictability, and sees her as someone with the potential to “rewrite the rules.”
Nanami respects her quiet strength and often acts like a reluctant uncle figure—calm, firm, and protective.
With Allies:
Ayumu tends to draw in outcasts, broken people, or those who’ve been judged.
She listens. She validates. And she gives people the courage to be who they are.
Symbolism & Themes Around Her:
Ember imagery: She burns quietly—but she never goes out. Even when smothered, she glows in the dark, waiting for the moment to ignite.
Balance: She walks the line between curse and sorcerer, love and destruction, justice and vengeance.
Mirror and Shadow: She reflects the best in others—but carries the shadows they fear.
Yamika Sukuna
Curse Technique Ideas:
1. Blood Garden (血の苑 - Chi no Sono):
Grows blood-soaked flowers or thorns from surfaces (or bodies).
Each flower blooms by feeding off fear or pain.
They explode or entangle, depending on the user's mood.
2. Cursed Blossom Illusions:
She creates a beautiful illusionary realm full of deadly flora.
Victims experience a dream-like hallucination where time distorts and perception is warped.
Combines her illusion craft with Sukuna's psychological intimidation.
3. Inherited Malevolence (Technique passed down from Sukuna):
Can create small versions of Sukuna’s slashing attacks (Dismantle/Cleave), but in an artistic or graceful form—like ribbon slashes or blossom-shaped bursts.
Possibly has her own variation: “Petal Severance” – a slash that cuts not flesh, but “intention” (it stops cursed techniques or instincts briefly).
4. Heavenly Womb of Rot:
Symbolizing a cursed "birthright," she can implant seeds of decay inside people during battle, causing them to rot from the soul out unless they break her illusion.
This acts as both a trap and a slow-burn execution.
Her Domain Expansion could resemble a crimson garden of decay, where every bloom is a cursed wound.
Personality Overview:
Yamika is the embodiment of chaotic allure—a cursed beauty who thrives on attention, domination, and fear. She's a confident, flirtatious sadist who enjoys playing with her prey—mentally, emotionally, and sometimes romantically—before delivering a crushing blow. Her presence is both intoxicating and terrifying.
Flirtatious & Teasing:
Constantly flirts with enemies, allies, or even people she plans to kill. Her tone is silky, her smile wicked.
Uses pet names like “darling,” “sweet thing,” or “little plaything.”
Touches people without warning, trailing a finger along their jaw, or plucking lint from their shoulder—then laughing when they flinch.
Treats combat like foreplay: “Don’t go dying too quickly—I like them squirmy.”
Cocky & Confident:
Carries herself like a goddess among mortals—she fully believes she’s superior in blood, beauty, and brains.
Often mocks others for their “pathetic emotions” or “heroic complexes,” but she’s never overtly angry—just amused.
Loves being underestimated, only to make her opponent regret it.
Tends to speak as if victory is inevitable: “You already lost, darling. You just haven’t realized it yet.”
Twisted Sense of Love & Ownership:
Gets weirdly possessive over anyone who impresses her in battle or shows resistance to her charms—treats them like pets or potential “toys.”
Might “fall in love” with an enemy mid-fight, only to try and break them emotionally.
Will jokingly propose or flirt with someone she's torturing: “Marry me, won’t you? Or do I have to break your legs first?”
How She Views Sukuna:
Calls him “Daddy” in a teasing or sarcastic tone—she’s not afraid of him, but she does crave recognition.
Fluctuates between mocking Sukuna’s brutality and admiring it, saying things like: “Daddy could learn a thing or two from me. I kill with style.”
May be rebellious, but would never allow anyone else to insult him—only she gets to do that.
Voice & Mannerisms:
Speaks with a playful lilt, like she’s always on the verge of laughter.
Frequently licks her lips, tilts her head, or leans in far too close when talking.
Laughs when people scream—especially if they beg or confess.
When irritated, her voice gets calm and cold, which is more dangerous than when she’s smiling.
Yamika & Ayumu – Cursed Soul Sisters
Though Yamika is the daughter of Sukuna and a powerful curse in her own right, her relationship with her vessel, Ayumu, defies the typical parasitic dynamic seen in Jujutsu Kaisen. Instead of domination or hatred, the two share an unexpectedly strong, sister-like bond built on mutual respect, survival, and an eerie sense of loyalty.
How the Bond Formed:
When Yamika was sealed inside Ayumu, it wasn’t immediate chaos. Unlike Sukuna, Yamika didn’t try to overpower her host—she was curious. Intrigued by Ayumu’s fire, vulnerability, and values, Yamika watched quietly... and then started talking.
Over time, the two began to understand each other. Where most curses would try to erode a host’s will, Yamika found herself admiring Ayumu’s conviction—and even sharing some of it.
Shared Morals and Values:
Freedom & Autonomy: Both women value their freedom to make their own choices, and hate being used as pawns—whether by higher-ups, curses, or fate.
Selective Mercy: Though Yamika is a flirtatious killer, she doesn’t enjoy senseless violence. Like Ayumu, she believes that those who are truly innocent should be spared—though she’ll still tease them.
Hating Hypocrisy: They both loathe those who wear masks of justice but act out of selfishness. Whether it’s a corrupt sorcerer or a self-righteous exorcist, Yamika and Ayumu see right through it—and agree they deserve to be exposed or destroyed.
Value of Beauty and Identity: Ayumu takes pride in being herself, despite being judged. Yamika, though more chaotic, respects this deeply. She believes in being unapologetically who you are—even if the world fears you.
Their Sisterly Dynamic:
Protective of Each Other: Yamika doesn’t allow just anyone to harm Ayumu. If someone threatens her vessel, Yamika’s usual teasing tone vanishes—and something colder, older, and deadly takes its place. Ayumu, meanwhile, has grown to defend Yamika emotionally when others call her a monster.
Constant Bickering... Like Sisters: Ayumu rolls her eyes at Yamika’s flirtatious remarks or drama queen moments. Yamika pokes fun at Ayumu’s moral dilemmas or crushes. But beneath it all, there’s a fierce loyalty.
Late-Night Conversations in the Mindscape: When Ayumu can’t sleep, Yamika talks to her. They share memories, joke about people they hate, or argue about what “love” really means. Yamika sometimes sings in a soft voice, just to mess with Ayumu—or comfort her.
Blended Strengths: In battle, they’ve found ways to fight in sync—Ayumu with her martial arts and technique, Yamika lending cursed energy or manipulating the field with poetic precision. Their synergy is eerie... and powerful.
Shared Body, Shared Will – Yamika & Ayumu’s Synchronization
As their bond matured, Ayumu and Yamika developed a rare, almost seamless ability to cohabitate their body, going far beyond the typical vessel-curse dynamic. Unlike Sukuna and Yuji, who often clash violently over control, Yamika and Ayumu function more like two souls sharing a single body with fluidity and mutual understanding.
Body Sharing Dynamics:
1. Voluntary Switching:
Either one can take the lead depending on the situation.
Ayumu usually handles daily life, emotions, and personal interactions.
Yamika steps forward during battle, interrogation, or when Ayumu is in danger—or just when she’s bored and wants to "play."
The switch is smooth, instant, and often accompanied by visual cues—like a change in eye color, body language, or voice tone.
2. Co-Presence:
Even when one is in control, the other is fully aware, watching, and can comment or guide from within.
Their mental link allows them to have full conversations internally, whether arguing, joking, or strategizing.
It’s not uncommon for Ayumu to laugh at something Yamika says in her head, confusing those around her.
Moments of True Fusion:
In moments of deep emotional stress or combat intensity, their personalities can blend into one, creating a version of Ayumu that moves with Yamika’s confidence and cruelty, or a version of Yamika softened by Ayumu’s empathy.
This fusion isn’t just physical—it’s spiritual. They feel each other's pain, joy, and instinct.
“When I bleed, she burns. When she smiles, I breathe. We are two voices in one song.” – Ayumu
Unique Advantages of Their Bond:
Dual Processing: Yamika can warn Ayumu of danger mid-battle or point out emotional manipulation others might miss.
Emotional Anchoring: Ayumu keeps Yamika grounded when her bloodlust flares. Yamika, in turn, lends Ayumu strength when she’s emotionally overwhelmed.
False Vulnerability: Enemies who think they’re facing just Ayumu are often surprised when Yamika suddenly takes over mid-fight with a smirk and a chilling “My turn, sweetheart.”
Other People’s Reactions:
Sorcerers are deeply unsettled by how well they function togethersome even fear Ayumu has been corrupted beyond saving.
Friends often can’t tell who they’re speaking to unless they look closely at her eyes or listen to the subtle change in her tone.
Enemies often think they’re hallucinating when Ayumu suddenly starts flirting like a predator—or when Yamika shows unexpected mercy.
The Sorcerers’ Perspective: Gojo & Nanami on Yamika and Ayumu
Gojo’s View – Amused Respect & Quiet Worry:
Gojo Satoru, with his sharp intuition and ability to see beyond the obvious, doesn’t believe for a second that Yamika behaves simply because of compatibility. He has a theory—one he sometimes shares half-jokingly but always with serious undertones:
“Yamika’s not the kind of curse who follows anyone. She’s not tame. She’s impressed. And she’s smart enough to know when she's outclassed—morally, at least.”
He believes Yamika stays in line because Ayumu doesn’t need her to be powerful. That terrifies most curses. But for Yamika? It intrigues her.
Gojo sees it as a balance of equals, not dominance.
“Ayumu can be ruthless all on her own. She chooses restraint. And Yamika? She's in awe of that kind of control—because she doesn’t have it herself.”
Gojo teases Ayumu about being the only person to ever “tame a curse by making it fall in love with her spine.”
Nanami’s View – Analytical & Protective:
Nanami is more reserved, but he’s observed Yamika’s behavior with Ayumu over time and drawn a strategic conclusion:
“This is not possession. This is partnership. And if anything… the curse follows the sorcerer’s lead.”
To Nanami, Yamika isn’t the threat people think she is—not because she lacks power, but because Ayumu’s will is stronger.
He’s watched Ayumu fight, bleed, and win without ever surrendering herself to Yamika’s influence, and in that strength, Yamika found something rare: respect.
“Curses obey power. Yamika obeys something greater: admiration. Ayumu’s self-mastery is the chain, and it’s one Yamika chooses not to break.”
Nanami worries, though—if Ayumu ever falters, emotionally or morally, Yamika might take the wheel… and never give it back.
Why Yamika “Behaves”:
Not fear. Not submission. But fascination.
Yamika is used to being feared, hated, or sealed. But Ayumu stood beside her, looked her in the eye, and never flinched.
That single act rewrote Yamika’s entire perspective.
“She doesn’t need me to win. She just lets me be part of it. How could I not adore her?”– Yamika, half-mocking, half-sincere
Yamika may flirt, tease, and provoke, but she’s genuinely impressed by Ayumu’s strength, restraint, and ability to lead a path of her own—without fully rejecting the curse that lives within her.
In Ayumu, Yamika sees not weakness—but a mirror of what she could be, if she had ever been human.
Ayumu’s Perspective on Yamika – A Curse, a Companion, a Reflection
Ayumu doesn’t view Yamika as just a curse lodged in her soul. She’s too perceptive, too emotionally grounded for that. While the world might call Yamika a monster, a demon, or a ticking time bomb, Ayumu sees something else—something far more nuanced and far more personal.
At First: Caution and Curiosity
When Yamika first awakened inside her, Ayumu was wary—but not afraid. She knew who Sukuna was, and the idea that his daughter now shared her body should have been a nightmare.
But Yamika didn’t strike immediately. She didn’t scream, claw, or try to rip control away.
She watched. She listened.
And Ayumu, ever-introspective, found herself doing the same.
What Ayumu Saw in Her:
1. A Mirror of Power—Untamed and Unrefined
Ayumu realized quickly: Yamika is powerful, yes—but that power lacks anchor or direction. It’s pure, raw, destructive instinct—but not without intelligence or emotion.
“She has the strength to destroy cities, but the heart of someone who’s never known love without fear.”
Ayumu doesn’t see a mindless curse. She sees potential. Someone who could be more if they just had someone to walk beside—rather than chain them down.
2. An Equal—Not a Tool or a Burden
Ayumu has always believed that people—even curses—deserve to choose who they want to be. And Yamika? For all her flirtation and violence, she chooses not to dominate Ayumu. She offers. Suggests. Even teases.
But never forces.
“She doesn’t need me. But she stays. That means something.”
Ayumu admires that. Deeply.
3. A Companion in Darkness
Ayumu has had her own brushes with pain, loneliness, and being misunderstood. While she keeps her heart warm, she knows what it’s like to carry something monstrous inside.
Yamika isn’t just a curse. She’s the voice in Ayumu’s mind that whispers strength when she’s weak, beauty when she feels broken, and fury when injustice burns too hot.
They don’t always agree—but Yamika never abandons her. And Ayumu would never abandon Yamika.
“If I can love the worst parts of myself... maybe she can learn to love herself too.”
Their Bond, From Ayumu’s Side:
Protective: Ayumu will argue with Yamika, but she won’t let others insult or dismiss her. Yamika may be a curse—but she’s hers.
Empathetic: Ayumu senses the pain behind Yamika’s smirks. She can feel it ripple through their shared soul. And in moments of silence, she offers gentle understanding, not judgment.
Grounded: Yamika tempts her toward darkness, toward revenge, toward indulgence. But Ayumu chooses her own way—and Yamika respects her more for it.
In Ayumu’s Words:
“Yamika is fire—beautiful, unpredictable, and dangerous. But fire isn’t evil. It just needs something strong enough to hold it. I don’t fear her. I see her. And I think… maybe she’s starting to see herself too.”

Between 1984 and 1986, the number of liposuction operations rose 78 percent—but the procedure barely worked. Liposuction removed only one to two pounds of fat, had no mitigating effect on the unseemly "dimpling" effect of cellulite, and, in fact, often made it worse. The procedure also could produce permanent bagginess in the skin and edema, just two of the "variations from the ideal" that the plastic surgery society cataloged in its own report. Another "variation" on the list: "pain."
Furthermore, the plastic surgery society's survey of its members turned up several other unfortunate incidents. A liposuction patient lay down to have stomach fat removed and woke up with a perforated bowel and fecal matter leaking through the abdominal cavity. Three patients developed pulmonary infections and two had massive infections. Three suffered pulmonary fat embolism syndrome, a life-threatening condition in which fat can lodge in the heart, lungs, and eyes. And "numerous patients" required, as the survey delicately put it, "unplanned transfusions." On March 30, 1987, Patsy Howell died of massive infections three days after a liposuction operation performed by Dr. Hugo Ramirez, a gynecologist who ran a plastic surgery clinic in Pasadena, Texas. The same day Howell had her operation, Ramirez performed liposuction on Patricia Rogers; she also developed massive infections, was hospitalized in critical condition, and eventually had to have all her skin from below her chest to the top of her thighs removed.
Howell, a thirty-nine-year-old floral shop manager and the mother of two sons, submitted to liposuction to remove a small paunch on her five-foot-one frame. She weighed only 120 pounds. “This literature she got at a shopping mall said the procedure was so simple,” her friend Rheba Downey told a reporter. “She said, ‘Why not?’” She made up her mind after reading Ramirez's newspaper ad, calling the surgery "the revolutionary technique for reduction of fat without dieting." No one told her about the dangers. Ramirez operated on more than two hundred women, causing numerous injuries and two deaths before his license was finally revoked.
By 1987, only five years after the fat-scraping technique was introduced in the United States, the plastic surgery society had counted eleven deaths from liposuction. A 1988 congressional subcommittee placed the death toll at twenty. And the figure is probably higher, because patients' families are often reluctant to report that the cause of death is this "vanity" procedure. A woman in San Francisco, for example, who was not on the surgery society's or Congress's list, died in 1989 from an infection caused by liposuction to her stomach; the infection spread to her brain, her lungs collapsed, and she finally had a massive stroke. But her family was too ashamed about the procedure to bring it to public attention.
The society's 1987 report on liposuction, however, seemed less concerned with safety than with "the reputation of suction lipectomy," which its authors feared had been "marred by avoidable deaths and preventable complications." It concluded that all problems with liposuction could be easily solved with "guidelines governing who is permitted to perform and advertise surgical procedures." In other words, just get rid of the gynecologists and dermatologists and leave the surgery to them.
Yet some of the liposuction patients had died at the hands of plastic surgeons. And the most common cause of death was the release of fat emboli into the heart, lungs, and brain—a risk whenever inner layers of epidermis are scraped, no matter how proficient the scraper. As even the report acknowledged: "[Liposuction] is by its nature a tissue-crush phenomenon. Therefore, fat embolism is a realistic possibility."
Surgeons also marketed the injection of liquid silicone straight into the face. Vogue described it this way: "Plastic surgery used to be a dramatic process, but new techniques now allow doctors to make smaller, sculptural facial changes." This "new" technique was actually an old practice that had been used by doctors in the last backlash era to expand breasts—and abandoned as too dangerous. It was no better the second time around; thousands of women who tried it developed severe facial pain, numbing, ulcerations, and hideous deformities. One Los Angeles plastic surgeon, Dr. Jack Startz, devastated the faces of hundreds of the two thousand women he injected with liquid silicone. He later committed suicide.
For the most part, these doctors were not operating on women who might actually benefit from plastic surgery. In fact, the number of reconstructive operations to aid burn victims and breast cancer patients declined in the late '80s. For many plastic surgeons, helping to boost women's self-esteem wasn't the main appeal of their profession. Despite the ads, the doctors were less interested in improving their patients' sense of "control" than they were in improving their own control over their patients. "To me," said plastic surgeon Kurt Wagner, who operated on his wife's physique nine times, "surgery is like being in the arena where decisions are made and no one can tell me what to do." Women under anesthesia don't talk back.

The creation of the first homunculus in the alchemy labs was a major success for the Academy of Veritas Mundus. To birth new life from mere humors was quite the feat, and it opened the doors to endless possibilities. Though these homunculi were quite small and gooey, like a half formed fetus, their creation and continued existence suggested that the Academy was on the right track. The Alchemists saw that it was possible to artificially create life, so now was the task to master and refine the process. Surely, one could perfect the formula and make something just as great as man.
Years have passed since the first creation and the Academy has yet to achieve the dream of the perfect homunculus. No matter what combinations and techniques they use, it always seems to bear flaws. While some may be disheartened by this continued failure, the Alchemists have never slowed in their efforts. Because while the end result is not pristine, it typically bears useful fruit. Failures can be studied, half-right creations can still be utilized. Just see how the simple homunculi formed from the very beginning have found their uses! And while the perfect specimen still eludes them, the current refined result still shows plenty of potential.
The "refined" homunculi are the closest the Academy has gotten to its goal. Instead of being rodent-sized, these beings are slightly shorter than the average man. Their bodies are better formed, though a tad congealed in some places. The skin less goopy and more solid, organs and veins coming together into a more reasonable system. They possess eyes and functioning digits, and beneath their squishy fluid-filled layers is the crude formations of what could one day be bone. Now at a more reasonable size and with more solid limbs, these homunculi can be used for more human-like tasks, carrying equipment, organizing shelves and cleaning labs. To an outsider, the refined homunculi seem like a perfect creation (albeit a tad creepy), but the Academy knows that this being is still flawed.
Though they may look more human than their earlier brethren, their minds are still half-formed and quite simple. Complicated tasks are quite beyond them, and jobs that are more than mere fetching require constant and thorough instruction. Their bodies are also still primordial, with faint traces of solid structure inside to help hold up their weight. But outside of that, they are still human-shaped bags of fluid, where a moderate injury can be fatal. A deep cut to the arm can cause their insides to come gushing out, and their bodies to deflate like a punctured eyeball. They also lack the perfect humor balance within, where the Academy hoped to create a being that was self-sustaining and never in need of a transfusion. These homunculi are not that, requiring a dose of fluid every day to keep functioning. While the little ones need a mere drop, these ones must have much more. Still easier to feed and maintain than a full grown human, which is why they are still created and used. However, their utilization has taken a darker turn in recent times.
When it came to facing the Church of Divine Wealth, the Academy knew victory was impossible. The Church was a powerhouse and the uncontested ruler of these lands. While the Academy had brains, the Church had sheer strength and numbers to make smarts utterly useless. An attempt to go to war would result in them drowning in waves of mindless pawns, rabid believers who would blindly sacrifice themselves in the name of golden Ichor. But when the refined homunculi were born, a possibility was created with them. Here was a source of easily replicated manpower, grown in mere fractions of what it would take for a true human. And though they were simple, teaching them which way to point sharp bits was no challenge. Injections of infused Black Bile could give them the basics of combat, and then all one had to do was give them a sword and point them at the enemy. Cheap armor could be churned out and slapped on, and now the Academy had a horde of armed fleshbags. These were still far from the perfect warrior, but their purpose of inflating the Academy's numbers was what mattered. This, combined with their many constructs and bizarre inventions, would give the Academy a fighting chance in war against the Church, especially with it already weakened by infighting.
While the refined ones have far more use than the little ones, it would seem their size and abilities have taken away from their charm. Alchemists would eat a blade before letting their tiny homunculi be harmed, yet their attitudes towards these more completed ones is more cold. They are treated more like dumb servants, getting annoyed barks when they do something wrong and gifted menial tasks like holding books or cleaning up spills. Still loyal, like a dumb animal with a beloved master, these refined ones continue to serve despite the berating. This desire to please and obedience doesn't garner the same reaction that the little ones get, as the Alchemists don't seem to care in the slightest for the refined's persistence. And when war came to the Academy, there was no hesitation to turn these lab assistants into fodder. Though, one could say that end goal was always in mind. Perhaps the Academy kept their distance from these beings because they knew they would be sent into the slaughter. Best not get attached to the creature you will send to war, knowing full well they won't be coming back. This could be the case, but it is also a fact that a lot of people (even Alchemists) hate the way these things stare. Their eyes seem to unsettle, and thus many are quick to cover them up with hat, mask or helmet. At least it gives a slight edge in battle, as soldiers may falter or be rattled when they see their approaching enemy stare with bloody unblinking eyes.
Made even more unsettling when your blade causes one to pop like a fleshy balloon, showering you in raw gore and juice. Getting the stains and stink out of your armor is a nightmare...

Damn, on this site those eyes be like a jumpscare. Still pleased with this horrible staring fleshman.

The Creation of Demigods: A Legacy of Forgotten Gods
The creation of Demigods is a testament to the resilience, desperation, and ingenuity of humanity. The process, shrouded in pain and moral ambiguity, was discovered by accident but has since become a cornerstone of the global arms race. The origins of this groundbreaking method trace back to ancient times, where the truths hidden within mythology and religion began to surface under the scrutiny of modern science.
The Origins of the Process:
The process of creating Demigods began with a revelation by a Japanese scientist during the late stages of World War II. This scientist, working on a classified biological research project, discovered a shocking truth buried beneath layers of myth and legend. The beings worshipped as gods, revered as monsters, and feared as demons in ancient mythology were not supernatural entities but extraterrestrial visitors. These "gods" were advanced alien beings who had come to Earth eons ago, their abilities and technology so far beyond human comprehension that they were mistaken for divine. These beings lived among early humans, shaping civilizations, inspiring religions, and leaving behind stories that would form the foundations of human mythology. But time proved to be an equalizer. Even these godlike beings were not immortal. They eventually perished, either due to age, battles with one another, or the rebellion of humanity itself. While their bodies turned to dust, their bones—imbued with their alien biology—remained, buried deep within the Earth, forgotten by time. It was only millennia later, as scientists and archaeologists unearthed ancient ruins and fossils, that these bones were discovered. The Japanese scientist who stumbled upon them initially believed them to be remnants of extinct creatures. However, further analysis revealed that these bones contained traces of unique, dormant DNA—genetic material that did not match any known species on Earth. This discovery led to the hypothesis that these bones held the potential to awaken superhuman abilities in modern humans.
The Science Behind Demigods: The DNA Extraction Process
The creation of a Demigod begins with extracting the genetic material from the fossilized remains of these ancient beings. This process is exceedingly complex, as the DNA has degraded over thousands of years and must be reconstructed using advanced biotechnological techniques. The resulting DNA is highly unstable and incompatible with human biology in its raw form. To fuse this alien DNA with a human host, scientists developed a method that pushes the human body to its absolute limits. This ensures the host’s biology is prepared to accept and adapt to the foreign material. The process is akin to forcibly rewriting a human's genetic code, requiring immense physical and psychological resilience.
The Creation Process: Steps to Becoming a Demigod
• Rigorous Physical Conditioning: Before the alien DNA can be introduced, the human body must be conditioned to handle extreme stress and adapt to rapid changes. Subjects undergo grueling physical training, forcing their bodies to operate at peak performance. This phase is designed to test and push every limit of the human body—strength, endurance, reflexes, and adaptability. Those who fail to endure this stage are either severely injured or die, as their bodies cannot handle the strain. [Survival Rate: 63.6%]
• Genetic Modification: Once the subject’s body is sufficiently hardened, the alien DNA is carefully fused with their own. This involves injecting the reconstructed DNA into the subject’s body, where it begins to integrate with the human genome. They introduce the serum D.E.M.I (Divine Empowerment Molecule Of Interstellar Origin) over the course of months. As the synchronisation between the serum and DNA of host is a very delicate combination of having the right enzymes, bone marrow, stem cells and blood type matching with the foreign Alien DNA. However, the process is not seamless. The alien DNA attacks the host's natural genetic material, initiating a violent struggle for dominance within the body. This phase is the most dangerous, as the subject’s immune system often perceives the alien DNA as a threat and attacks it. To combat this, scientists suppress the immune system, leaving the subject vulnerable to infections and other complications. Many subjects die during this stage due to the sheer trauma inflicted on their bodies. [Survival Rate: 31.2%]
• Metamorphosis and Adaptation: If the subject survives the genetic fusion, their body enters a period of rapid adaptation and transformation. This phase, known as The Metamorphosis, involves the complete restructuring of the body at a cellular level. The alien DNA activates dormant potential within the human genome, granting superhuman abilities such as enhanced strength, speed, agility, and sometimes unique powers like energy manipulation or regeneration. This process is excruciatingly painful, as bones, muscles, and organs are broken down and rebuilt. This process can last from hours, days to even months. Subjects often describe the sensation as being burned alive from the inside out.
• Psychological Conditioning: The transformation does not end with the body. The alien DNA often affects the subject’s mind, introducing visions, memories, or instincts from the ancient beings it once belonged to. Subjects must undergo extensive psychological conditioning to retain their sense of self and avoid being overwhelmed by the alien influence. Some lose their sanity during this stage, rendering them unstable or dangerous. [Survival Rate: 0.3%]
• Final Testing and Training: Once the transformation is complete, the new Demigod must undergo rigorous testing to evaluate their abilities. This includes combat training, power control exercises, and mental resilience tests. The goal is to ensure the Demigod is battle-ready and can function as a weapon on the battlefield.
The Ideal Candidates:
Through trial and error, scientists discovered that children aged 12 and younger are the most suitable candidates for the process. This is because their bodies, still in the developmental stage, are far more adaptable than those of adults. Prepubescent children have not yet undergone the genetic "hardening" that occurs during puberty, making their DNA more malleable and receptive to foreign material. This revelation led to ethical dilemmas, as the process effectively sacrifices the childhood of its subjects. Children are subjected to inhumane conditions and stripped of their humanity in the pursuit of creating weapons. Many countries justify this by pointing to the need for survival in the escalating global conflict.
Moral and Ethical Implications:
The process of creating Demigods has sparked widespread controversy. While the results are undeniably powerful, the cost in human lives and the suffering endured by the subjects have raised questions about the morality of these experiments. Critics argue that the creation of Demigods is a violation of human rights and dignity, while proponents insist that it is a necessary evil in a world where survival depends on power. In secret laboratories across the globe, the race to perfect the Demigod creation process continues. As the three powerhouses push the boundaries of science and morality, the question remains: how far will humanity go to secure its future?

So I saw your post about whether or not Gallifreyans can get scars, and you mentioned that they have this "trampoline" like feature that stops foreign objects from getting stuck in the skin.
How then can a Gallifreyan get a tattoo if their skin just rejects foreign objects? The Doctor's third incarnation had one, and the Time Lord known as the Corsair also went and got the same tattoo every time they regenerated - which tells me tattoos don't survive that particular process.
Do they have to use special ink? Does the ink have to go deeper into the skin?
How do Gallifreyans get tattoos?
Ooo, what a poser, I love it. Let's have a little dig into how tattoos might be possible for them despite their skin's natural resistance to foreign objects.
💉Theories on Gallifreyan Tattoos
Gallifreyan-Compatible Ink: The ink used for Gallifreyan tattoos could be specially formulated to integrate with their biologicial makeup. This would prevent the skin from rejecting the ink, allowing it to stay in place. This ink might contain nano-particles or compounds that bond with their cells, making it a 'natural' part of the skin.
Bone-Grafting Method: Gallifreyan skin can only retain objects if they are fused to bone, so tattoos might be created by injecting the ink directly into the skeleton/cartilage space.
Microscopic Needles: Using ultra-fine needles, the tattooing process could place the ink precisely within the epidermal and dermal layers without triggering the skin's rejection mechanisms. Here's a terrible diagram I made for the original anatomy guide, where 2&6 are the 'trampoline' layers (known in the guide as opici fluid, this may change in version 2).
Tumblr media
Temporary Inhibition of the 'Trampoline' Response: During the tattooing process, a chemical agent could temporarily inhibit this layers' rejection response. This would allow the ink to be applied and absorbed into the skin without being expelled. Once the tattoo is set, the response could resume its normal function.
✨Regeneration Adjustment
Bio-Programmable Tattoos: Tattoos could be encoded into a Gallifreyan's biodata, allowing them to manifest during regeneration. This would mean that the tattoo is part of the Gallifreyan's biological blueprint and would naturally reappear with each new incarnation.
Regeneration-Resistant Ink: The ink might have properties that allow it to resist being expelled or altered during the regeneration process, perhaps becoming something more genetic in nature.
Selective Regeneration Memory: Some Gallifreyans can 'program' certain aspects of their body to remain consistent through regenerations. This selective memory could include tattoos, ensuring that they are recreated accurately with each new form. This would be a conscious or subconscious decision made by the Time Lord.
🏫 So ...
Gallifreyan tattoos probably require a combination of advanced ink formulation, precise application techniques, and possibly genetic encoding to circumvent their skin's natural defence mechanisms.

NOVICE VP TIPS FROM A NOVICE VP-ER
So, I had a couple people mention wanting to know about my set up for that one netrunner Vaye shot, and I figured why not just throw some stuff together for that?
Tumblr media
I'm still learning a toooooon about shooting VP. There's so much I still don't know, and I'm definitely still a novice here. This is just stuff that's worked for me so far but if it could help someone else getting started in VP, then I want to share.
Putting it all below a cut because this is kinda long and I included screenies, as well as a list of links to mods and stuff I use.
📸I should preface that framing and composition are the best tools for taking VP, just like real world photography. Looking at movies, fashion shoots, etc for inspo/pointers is an invaluable asset. You can take amazing shots using vanilla tools alone. Also, I've seen other folks mention it in tips/tutorials, tightening your field-of-view/FOV is key.
Lighting is the second thing. Lighting techniques vary depending on what you want to achieve. In this case, I wanted nice two-toned rim lighting with a brighter (white) edge to make the character stand out from the background. For me, I'm pulling from the same pool of knowledge I use to render light in art. In general, if you're using two-tone light, images tend to benefit from contrasting/complimentary tones. Warm/cool, etc. I went with turquoise and purple here to compliment V's suit and hair and make the warm notes pop.
I'm not gonna throw down a ton of screenshots (still, there's quite a few), and recreating this was impossible, but I this is basically how I set up the lights:
Using CharLi, spawn a favela, lower intensity + range (so I'm not staring at the sun), disable object meshes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Fiddle with radius and rotation until it's ballpark where I want it, then tweak the color.
Tumblr media
3. Duplicate this light, set it back to white, fiddle with position again to get white rim light.
Tumblr media
4. Spawn a new favela and do the same process for the other side with my secondary color (pictured before I turned meshes off).
Tumblr media
5. Lather, rinse, repeat for a secondary white rim light (I don't have that light selected in the menu here, but you can see it's active). Sometimes it's helpful to fiddle with the lights' X/Y/Z positions and scale lower in the menu as well.
Tumblr media
6. I spawned another light for a little bit of wash lighting here because why not?
Tumblr media
7. And then I fine tune light positions, frame my shot, and snip snap. I'm not going into ReShade or hotsampling because I'm still learning the ins and outs of those and that's a lot of personal preference stuff too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
IN-GAME STUFF:
📍Location: Regina's
🔓AMM and Photo Mode Unlocker
💡CharLi lighting - this shot used 4 or 5 "favela" lights in varying colors
📸ReShade filters
🛠️IGCS/Otis camera tools (only for slight pose tweaking on this one, I did not use the injectable camera)
👌Tight FOV (idk if that counts as an "effect" but it's a big asset)
I did not hotsample that shot but I wish I had ( ˘︹˘ )
POST-PROCESSING:
🖌️Clip Studio Paint, it's what I've got
🎚️Levels tweaking (full RGB, not by singular color)
📚Overlay copy + Add (glow) copy @ about 30%/15% respectively
⚙️Effect rendering on Overlay and Add layers (chromatic aberration, noise)
MODS:
Netrunner Suit
Netrunner Port
Tac Gear
Cyberdeck

🐍Oxiana Mello reference post🐍
New ref sheet and design up! 'v' See her info and backstory under the spoiler ‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹
General information:
Name: Oxiana Mello Age: 29 (Post timeskip) Height: 190cm / 6'9" Personality: Her easygoing nature and demeanor makes her seem very relaxed and.. well.. 'mellow', often making her a target for people and pirates who might be looking for an easy mark. She's very easy to approach, and emits a friendly aura that makes most feel welcome in her presence. However, they way she treats everyone with the same enthusiasm makes it difficult to know if she's being legit or just putting up a font. She gets her kicks from witty banter and sarcastic remarks. Devil Fruit: Hebi-Hebi no mi: model Samar Cobra (a highly venomous spitting cobra)
She can shed her skin to counter superficial wounds such as scrapes, scratches, heat and cold. It is also possible for her to layer it to deflect heavier hits, cushioning them with her own skin. Although it's a potent skill, she hates using it because it flakes horribly, like massive dandruff and dead skin.
Toxin secretion through her teeth and gums, under her nails, able to inject through her own specialized fingergun technique named "Shigan: snakebite" where she uses two fingers to emulate a snake bite. Can also fling drops over longer distances with high accuracy, or fling drops with little accuracy like a shotgun.
Her saliva secretes an antivenom, so any toxin applied along with her saliva is harmless, and tastes kinda sweet.
Like a snake, her initial ambush speed is explosive, but she is unable to keep up the same speed over longer durations. Strengths:
Rokushiki master, specializing in 'finger pistol', 'paper art', and 'iron body'.
Haki: Specialty is observation haki, and paired with her snake senses, she is able to sense certain things and people from afar by flicking her tongue, much like how a snake smells and senses. She's also able to vaguely pick up on people's intentions and feelings if they are within 15 meters. She can also use armament haki, but mostly for offensive means, empowering her 'Snakebite'.
Grip strength. Part of the reason she uses a modified finger pistol with two fingers is to be able to grab on to people better. She's very hard to get off once she grabs a hold of you, she would be excellent at rock climbing. Traits: She's hella expressive and emotional, but she has a kind of disorder where her tear ducts work overtime over the smallest excess of emotion, which has made her adapt a very "mellow" demeanor. Any emotion that is being felt a little more than normal makes her tears roll, not because she's sad or crying, but because her body just can't handle it and uses tears to process it. Any amount of extra joy, anger, excitement, or sadness triggers it. She's been described as a weirdo or sometimes creepy for "crying" while doing her Cipher Pol work.
‧˚₊꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒷꒦︶︶︶︶︶꒦꒷‧₊˚⊹
Backstory:
Mello and Lucci were two kids from the same batch who were recruited by the World Government to undergo training to become Cipher Pol agents. Mello stood out for her relentless optimism, regularly cracking jokes and sporting a smile that brought a bit of light to the rigorous regime the litter of kids faced. Despite their contrasting personalities — Mello's cheerful and witty disposition clashing with Lucci's serious and calculated demeanor — they were drawn together, forming an unlikely friendship. The time came when Lucci, among others, was selected to join the more elite CP9, somethng that would intensify his training and isolate him from Mello and the rest. As he departed, Mello sprinted alongside his departing ship as far as the dock allowed, shouting out for him to promise a visit back to her — a promise Lucci made.
Years rolled by, and Mello found her place in CP7, serving with dedication. Basically she joined the intel unit of Cipher Pol, (I just happened to pick CP7 to be the intel unit), focusing on espionage, as well as gathering and handling of intelligence. But Lucci's absence grew heavier with each passing day; no visits, no letters. Her curiosity and missing her old friend led her to quietly probe for Lucci's whereabouts. This curiosity was met with resistance from her superiors due to the secretive nature of CP9, and ultimately they stopped her inquiries with a lie: Lucci had fallen in the line of duty. Shattered by the belief that Lucci was gone forever, Mello's spirit broke. After over a decade and a half with CP7, the hope of reuniting had fueled her. Now, extinguished. She took leave from her duties to recover, but her lack of income forced her into a poor lifestyle. Hopping from ship to ship, island to island, Mello did whatever odd jobs she could find, all while dealing with sad accommodations, from bug-infested motels to makeshift hideaways in the wild, living like a hobo for 5 or so years.
Circumstances led her to a war-scarred isle in the grand line where the government, stretched thin on manpower, had reluctantly requested a Cipher Pol member to supervise the building of a Marine outpost. It was here, during a confrontation with pirates from her past as an agent, that she crossed paths with the one assigned to the task -- Rob Lucci. The sight of Lucci, alive and now a member of the even more prestigious CP0, turned her world upside down. Overwhelmed with relief and emotion, Mello couldn't help but burst into tears. I like to imagine that all CP9 agents, especially Lucci, went through harsh indoctrination and memory suppression during his CP9 training, which stripped him of any memories that could hold him back, Lucci initially did not recognize Mello or recall their long-ago promise. However, their unexpected meeting sparked… something that was teetering at the edge of his mind.
Ofc they end up reconnecting, and even after 20ish years they are pleasantly surprised to rediscover their affinity for each other, and that the friendship from their childhood wasn't just a chance thing.

Creating a balcony space that is both stylish and environmentally conscious is a rewarding endeavor. Avivakeeon Interio offers stunning and sustainable design choices to enhance your outdoor retreat with minimal environmental impact.
Sustainable Materials for Decor
One of the first steps towards an eco-friendly balcony design is selecting sustainable materials. These materials not only minimize environmental damage but also lend a unique aesthetic to your space. Here are a few options to consider:
- Recycled Furniture: Opt for furniture made from recycled or upcycled materials. Pieces crafted from reclaimed wood, recycled aluminum, or recycled plastics are excellent choices. Not only are these materials environmentally responsible, but they also add a rustic, lived-in charm to your balcony.
- Natural Fibers: For textiles such as cushions and rugs, consider materials such as organic cotton, bamboo, or hemp. These fibers are biodegradable, renewable, and often require fewer resources to produce compared to conventional textiles.
- Sustainable Wood: If wood is your material of choice, look for certifications such as those from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which ensure that the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
- Eco-Friendly Lighting: Opt for solar-powered lights or energy-efficient LED bulbs. These options reduce energy consumption and blend beautifully with nighttime balcony settings, creating a warm and inviting glow.
Adopting these materials helps in promoting sustainability while maintaining a stylish and modern design for your balcony. Each selection conveys a commitment to eco-friendliness without sacrificing aesthetics.
Setting Up a Balcony Herb Garden
Another impactful way to incorporate eco-friendly elements into your balcony is by establishing a herb garden. Growing your own herbs not only provides a fresh supply of ingredients for your kitchen but also contributes to a greener lifestyle.
Here's how to create an efficient and thriving balcony herb garden:
- Choose the Right Containers: Select containers that fit your balcony space and allow for adequate drainage. Consider using terracotta pots, which are porous and help maintain moisture balance. Alternatively, recycled containers such as tin cans or old wooden boxes add a rustic touch and are a sustainability-friendly choice.
- Select the Ideal Herbs: Start with herbs that thrive in balcony conditions. Common choices include basil, mint, rosemary, chives, and parsley. These herbs are not only versatile but also forgiving, making them perfect for beginner gardeners.
- Optimize Sunlight and Watering: Most herbs prefer plenty of sunlight, so place your garden where it will receive sufficient light daily. Water the plants appropriately as per their needs—overwatering can be as harmful as neglecting them. Balconies with limited sun exposure can benefit from shade-tolerant herbs like mint or chives.
- Organic Care: To keep your herb garden thriving in an eco-friendly manner, consider organic fertilizers and pest control methods. Avoid harsh chemicals; instead, use compost tea or neem oil for a sustainable approach.
By integrating sustainable materials and cultivating a personal herb garden, your balcony becomes a relaxing retreat and a testament to eco-friendly living. Avivakeeon Interio’s balcony decor ideas not only foster ecological consciousness but also enhance the aesthetic allure of your outdoor space.

Injection Tips for Needle Nervous
From someone who had to deal with a fear of needles while learning how to do testosterone shots. To be clear, I'm 28 years old and have been doing weekly IM injections in my thighs for 18 months.
PREP -Listen to the information given for the possible injection sites; you may prefer or find it easier to deal with IM vs SubQ based on the options your doctor gives you. If you're able, schedule at least 6-8 injection days of clinic visits so a nurse can teach you how to inject properly, and you can take your time absorbing. If you're still nervous, try purchasing a 'shot blocker' since they can help with not feeling the needle. If it's the possible pain that bothers you, I used to pinch hard at the area with my nails to sort of say 'that's what you're expecting, see, it's not that bad!' This technique has also helped me with getting my blood drawn, which to go on T you'll have to deal with as well.
ROUTINE -Once I left the supervision of the clinic nurses and started injecting at home, I made sure to establish a routine. You'll need to find your own, and here's mine for reference; with a little wiggle room (like doing it in the morning if I know I'll be busy in the evening) I stick to the same rhythm every week. Set up my station, use the toilet (you don't want to be antsy handling a needle), press play on a song and wash hands, then my draw system [sanitize stopper, draw, switch needle size, get rid of air bubbles, adjust to relax, sanitize thigh, breathe, inject, pressure with a tissue until the song ends], then I clean up and put the needles immediately in my sharps box. It really helps to know exactly what you're getting into so unexpected changes (like injecting while a little drunk, I don't recommend this but it might happen) are easier to handle.
DISCIPLINE -I put on a 5 minute song and do my whole routine in that time, it works for me. Too short and you'll feel rushed, too long and you might procrastinate, so get into the habit. I give myself a four hour window and as soon as I feel like I could do it, I go for it.
CHILL -As mentioned, I put on a song, for me stoner metal or blues works the best since it soothes and zones me in. I do my shot in the evening so if I freak out a bit I can just go to bed. I put on my comfiest layers and have a treat after, too.
EXPERIMENT -While there are aspects of it all you must do a certain way, you won't always know the best way to do things for yourself of available options even once you've been taught, so let yourself feel it out. I was shown the quick jab method at first to get over my hesitation, but now I find I feel it less if I insert the needle slowly. I switched from 25G to 22G needles when the smaller size proved more difficult to inject due to the consistency of testosterone, and I also found a shorter needle length got rid of some residual anxiety over the actual insertion part. I used to do everything in the morning and now I solely do it in the evening. You can change some parts of the process to make yourself feel better!
FRIEND -I've got an assistant who sits on my other leg while I go through my routine, his name is Snippers;
Tumblr media
And I've found I'm less jittery with him there and my heart races less in the preamble to actually piercing skin. I keep him with me afterwards especially if I had a harder time than usual, which can happen even after doing this a long time.
And lastly;
BELAY THAT -Give yourself an out. Besides a situation like if I run out before my prescription can get refilled, I told myself I could skip one (1) injection per year, if I was having a super bad time and just couldn't. So far I haven't had to use it -at the most I've just waited until the next evening. My doctor has said that's fine and I don't have to inform her if I skip once, but that might not be the same for everyone. Either way I think giving yourself breathing room is essential to take the pressure off -self-injecting might be affirming, but it isn't always fun or easy!
I also think it should go without saying that these tips are things that have helped based on my own personal experience from the past year and a half. It's fine if they don't work for you or you don't think they're helpful at all -the trans* experience is wide and varied. I'm also not giving anyone medical advice -always learn how to properly administer your medication from a professional. Here is an article about general HRT self injection that may be some help.
But, if you do have difficulty with needles, hopefully this gave you some tips and tricks that could make the process feel more manageable.

OS commands injection testing & defense
OS command injection is a technique used via a web interface in order to execute OS commands on a web server.
How to test for the issue
During code review
Check if any command execute methods are called and in unvalidated user input are taken as data for that command.
Besides, appending a semicolon to the end of a URL query parameter followed by an operating system command, will execute the command. %3B is URL encoded and decodes to semicolon. This is because the ; is interpreted as a command separator.
Example:
http://sensitive/something.php?dir=%3Bcat%20/etc/passwd
If the application responds with the output of the /etc/passwd file then you know the attack has been successful. Many web application scanners can be used to test for this attack as they inject variations of command injections and test the response.
Equally Static Code Analysis tools check the data flow of untrusted user input into a web application and check if the data is then entered into a dangerous method which executes the user input as a command.
Remediation
If it is considered unavoidable the call to a system command incorporated with user-supplied, the following two layers of defense should be used within software in order to prevent attacks
Parameterization - If available, use structured mechanisms that automatically enforce the separation between data and command. These mechanisms can help to provide the relevant quoting, encoding.
Input validation - the values for commands and the relevant arguments should be both validated. There are different degrees of validation for the actual command and its arguments:
When it comes to the commands used, these must be validated against a list of allowed commands.
In regards to the arguments used for these commands, they should be validated using the following options:
Positive or allowlist input validation - where are the arguments allowed explicitly defined
Allow-list Regular Expression - where is explicitly defined a list of good characters allowed and the maximum length of the string. Ensure that metacharacters like & | ; $ > < \ \ !` and whitespaces are not part of the Regular Expression. For example, the following regular expression only allows lowercase letters and numbers, and does not contain metacharacters. The length is also being limited to 3-10 characters:
^[a-z0-9]{3,10}$
Example code - Java
Incorrect Usage
ProcessBuilder b = new ProcessBuilder("C:\DoStuff.exe -arg1 -arg2");
the command together with the arguments are passed as a one string, making easy to manipulate that expression and inject malicious strings.
Correct Usage
ProcessBuilder pb = new ProcessBuilder("TrustedCmd", "TrustedArg1", "TrustedArg2"); Map<String, String> env = pb.environment(); pb.directory(new File("TrustedDir")); Process p = pb.start();
starts a process with a modified working directory
The command and each of the arguments are passed separately which makes it easy to validate each term and reduces the risk to insert malicious strings

2023 Year End List - #2
Tumblr media
Ooh Rap I Ya - George Clanton
Main genres: Baggy, Chillwave
A decent sampling of: Trip Hop, Dream Pop, Synth Pop, Vaporwave, Breakbeat
Okay okay so yeah I'm very late to the whole George Clanton thing. Look you guyz, vaporwave and its adjacent scenes have never really been my cup of tea due to the general over-saturation of super amateur "vibes" artists with no songwriting chops. The gratuitous Japanese has also always reeked of pretentiousness to me. But there's almost always at least one diamond in the rough.
And I know that Clanton is really more regarded as a chillwave artist, and I know that there's a meaningful distinction between these genres, especially since the term 'chillwave' is at least a year or two older. But I guess in my own mind I just kinda put him in with the former, so he wasn't particularly high on my list of things to check out.
That is, until I saw those peculiar genre tags on his latest record and the general praise it got on my favourite insufferable hipster website rateyourmusic.com (sue me bitch). Baggy and chillwave together? Now THAT was something I had to hear.
And it just so happened to turn out that his stuff blew me away completely. Even upon my first listen, this LP had basically already skyrocketed to the number 2 spot on my year end list and managed to hold on for the rest of the year.
Every note off of Ooh Rap I Ya is drenched in a multicoloured neon slush that tastes like pure fifth gen console nostalgia (yes that's the only thing I can recall about the 90s tyvm). A portal to a dimension floating in a solution of sheer serotonin, with groovy baggy rhythms and gooey, acid-y synths. Layers upon layers of unabashed awesomeness condensed into thirty eight minutes that feel like hours of non-stop raving that still somehow ends all too soon.
There's been way more than enough homages in the 21st century paying tribute to 80s synth pop and its related genres. I'm glad that someone out there finally decided that the early 90s British baggy scene and its related "Madchester" club culture deserved a work of similar celebratory fondness. Not that I'm honestly too well-versed in it myself, though hearing this certainly makes me feel like taking that genre deep dive next year.
But like all good throwback revivalism, this record doesn't just rehash the era that it's paying tribute to. There's a lot of contemporary production techniques and ideas being applied here, and it's all filtered through a very post-internet 2.0 chillwave online aesthetics lens. And while sonically it feels incredibly optimistic, the lyrics have definitely been injected with some of the generational existentialism of its time.
Moreover, this basically just kicks ass more than 98% of anything else released this year. The songwriting is tight, the riffs are infectious to no end, the sound design is simply godlike, and Clanton's trippy pretty boy vocal styling blends seamlessly into this genre. It's just some good fucking timeless music that happens to be heavily influenced by a very time-and-place sound.
"Justify Your Life" has a very particular vibe, as though it was written from that headspace you get when it's 2:00 am and you should be tired, but instead your mind is hyper awake and you're up just kinda reflecting on everything over the last six months. The whole thing rides on the wave of a breezy looped guitar feedback sample, taking little plunges into deep plasmatic psychedelics during the chorus. Very chill and daydreamy, but also a little agitated and melancholy.
The torrential, churning feel-good chaos of "Punching Down" is almost enough to make me feel sick. So sugary and whimsical, you'd be totally forgiven if you missed George's lyrics dissing on the subject of the song, who might just probably be himself. The combination of rubbery arcade synths and a blown out drum machine pattern absolutely buries this song in a totally orgasmic collage. Someone shook the soda can and let it spray all over the damn place. Makes my brain go all fuzzy.
"I Been Young" is a quarter life crisis anthem that's musically somewhere halfway between INXS and Chapterhouse. Very boy band meets neo-psychedelia. The lyrics are poignant in a way I think all of us are destined to feel at some point. But there's also a kind of bittersweet, triumphant silver lining at play here, as in "yeah, life is pretty fucked, but look how far you've come!". Clanton does the great big beautiful chorus thing in a way that I've heard very few artists really manage to pull off so cool and effortlessly. Those colossal piano chords are purely divine. No other song this year comes quite so close to the sentimental, end-credits energy that this song manages to emanate from its very core. Insanely potent, and plainly one of the greatest songs of the decade so far.
"You Hold The Key And I Found It" has me swimming downwards in slow motion. This is for the point of the night at the rave for when you're beyond blasted, and you're kind of just absorbing your surroundings, with every second being its own little eternity. More vaporwave than anything else off the record, but this is a brilliant example of the genre's potential when the songs have the right amount of pulse to them.
"Ooh Rap I Ya" glows like little flourescent fishies swimming in an aquarium. Little bit of a new jack swing meets trip hop vibe on the beat here which makes it extra comfy and danceable. Those "ooh rap I ya"s during the bridge that give the album its title are just so sexy and snappy; I believe I've caught myself singing it at random at least a dozen times in the last month alone.
The sluggish closer "For You, I Will" is insane. This. Song. Is. Massive. I can't get over how utterly consuming it sounds, like impenetrable walls being erected towards the sky that obscure the nature of reality. This one simply must be heard on headphones to get the full experience. George Clanton employed the help of Hatchie 💖 to do the backing vocals on this, which I personally thought was a really cute addition seeing as how her 2022 record Giving The World Away was basically the only other prominent LP of the last few years (or decades, more likely) to pay a lot of homage to the 90s baggy sound.
For as consistently brilliant as the album sounds to my ears, I do admit I have one gripe with this record that I just couldn't look past to give it a 10.
The gripe is that "F.U.M.L." to me is just a weaker, simpler take on "I Been Young". I guess the whole ultra-teenage upbeat pop punk "let's chant gleefully about being edgy and depressed" has never really been my thing either (Looking at you Wheatus, grrrrr), no matter how many layers of nostalgia or even irony you try to bury it under. Maybe an uncharitable take, it's still a pretty decent song and production-wise it's excellent, but I have basically no fondness for it when compared to anything else on the LP.
But anyhow, shut the fuck up already Bradley cuz this record is goddamn amazing. Ooh Rap I Ya has very quickly become one of my favourites of the decade - heavily grounded in the psychedelic baggy sounds it derives from, while managing to be so incredibly forward thinking in its maximalist production and songwriting. George Clanton just landed himself at the top of my list of artists to be on the look out for new releases in the next few coming years.
9/10
Highlights: "I Been Young", "Punching Down", "For You, I Will", "You Hold The Key And I Found It", "Ooh Rap I Ya", "Justify Your Life", "Everything I Want"

PERMANENT MAKEUP IS THE NEW MEANS OF BEAUTY
The author is Deep Sidhu.
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing or micro pigmentation, is a cosmetic technique that employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) to produce makeup-like designs, such as eye-lining and other permanent enhancing colours to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids.
Why Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is commonly used to:
Improve the appearance of the eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips
Disguise scarring and birthmarks
Produce the appearance of thicker eyebrows
After breast cancer surgery, reconstruct the areola (the pigmented tissue surrounding the nipple).
A licenced professional injects pigment into the dermis layer of the skin using a specialised machine during the procedure. The pigment is typically composed of iron oxide, a substance that is harmless and approved by the FDA and CDSCO.
The procedure lasts approximately two hours and may be mildly uncomfortable. Following the procedure, there may be some redness, edoema, and bruising for a few days. The pigment will progressively fade over time, and periodic touch-up treatments may be required.
Permanent cosmetics are a safe and effective method of enhancing your appearance. Before undergoing the procedure, it is crucial to conduct research and choose a qualified practitioner.
PMU Pros and Cons
Pros:
⦁ Permanent makeup can save you time and money on makeup application. ⦁ It can give you a more polished and put-together look. ⦁ It can be used to camouflage scars or birthmarks. ⦁ It can be used to reconstruct the areola after breast cancer surgery.
Cons:
⦁ Permanent makeup is a permanent procedure, so it is important to be sure that you want it before you get it. ⦁ The procedure can be expensive. ⦁ There is a risk of infection or allergic reaction. ⦁ The pigment may fade over time and require touch-up treatments.
What all procedures are available for permanent make up?
Permanent cosmetics can be achieved through a variety of procedures, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. The most frequent procedures consist of:
⦁ Microblading
This procedure uses a fine blade to create hair-like strokes that mimic the appearance of natural eyebrows. It is a good option for people who want fuller, more defined eyebrows.
Tumblr media
⦁ PMU
This is a broad term that can refer to any type of permanent makeup procedure. It is often used to describe microblading, but it can also refer to other procedures such as eyeliner, lip liner, and blush.
Tumblr media
⦁ Eyeliner
This procedure uses a needle to inject pigment along the lash line. It is a good option for people who want to create a more dramatic eye look.
Tumblr media
⦁ Lip liner
This procedure uses a needle to inject pigment along the lip line. It is a good option for people who want to create a more defined lip shape or to add color to their lips.
Tumblr media
⦁ Lip blushing
This procedure uses a needle to inject pigment into the lips to create a more natural-looking flush. It is a good option for people who want to add color to their lips without making them look overly made-up.
Tumblr media
The optimal treatment for you will depend on your specific requirements and preferences. It is essential to consult a qualified practitioner to discuss your options and select the appropriate procedure.
Who should use permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup can be an excellent choice for those who wish to save time on makeup application, enhance their appearance, or conceal scarring or birthmarks. The following individuals may be excellent candidates for permanent makeup:
⦁ People who are short on time
Permanent makeup can save you time and money on makeup application. If you are always running late or you simply don't have the time to apply makeup every day, permanent makeup can be a great option.
⦁ People who have difficulty applying makeup
If you have arthritis, tremors, or other conditions that make it difficult to apply makeup, permanent makeup can be a great option. You will no longer have to worry about smudging or smearing your makeup, and you can always look your best, even on days when you don't feel like putting on makeup.
⦁ People who want to enhance their appearance
Permanent makeup can be used to enhance the appearance of your eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. If you are not happy with the shape or fullness of your eyebrows, or if you want to add more definition to your lips, permanent makeup can be a great solution.
⦁ People who want to camouflage scars or birthmarks
Permanent makeup can be used to camouflage scars or birthmarks. If you have a scar or birthmark that you are self-conscious about, permanent makeup can help to conceal it.
Who should not go for permanent make up?
Permanent makeup is not a good option for everyone. Here are some people who should not go for permanent makeup:
⦁ People with active skin conditions
If you have any active skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, or acne, you should not get permanent makeup. The procedure can irritate your skin and make your condition worse.
⦁ People with allergies
If you have any allergies, you should be careful about getting permanent makeup. The pigment used in permanent makeup can sometimes cause allergic reactions.
⦁ People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
It is not recommended to get permanent makeup while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The risks and side effects of permanent makeup are not fully understood, and it is best to be cautious.
⦁ People who are under 18
Permanent makeup is not recommended for people under the age of 18. Your body is still developing, and the results of permanent makeup may not be what you want in the long run.
⦁ People who are not sure if they want permanent makeup
If you are not sure if you want permanent makeup, you should wait. It is a permanent decision, and you should be sure that you want it before you get it.
How to enhance the longevity of permanent make up?
Here are some tips on how to enhance the longevity of your permanent makeup:
⦁ Choose the right pigment
The pigment used in permanent makeup is important. Choose a pigment that is made for permanent makeup and that is approved by the FDA.
⦁ Follow the aftercare instructions carefully
After your procedure, it is important to follow the aftercare instructions carefully. This will help to prevent infection and to promote healing.
⦁ Avoid sun exposure
Sun exposure can fade your permanent makeup. It is important to wear sunscreen on your permanent makeup every day, even on cloudy days.
⦁ Avoid harsh chemicals
Harsh chemicals, such as acids and bleaches, can also fade your permanent makeup. It is important to avoid using these chemicals on your permanent makeup area.
⦁ Get touch-ups as needed
Your permanent makeup will gradually fade over time. It is important to get touch-ups as needed to maintain the result.
⦁ Don't pick or scratch at your permanent makeup
This can damage the pigment and cause it to fade prematurely.
⦁ Be gentle when washing your face
Use a gentle cleanser and avoid scrubbing the area where you have permanent makeup.
⦁ Moisturize the area regularly
Dry skin can cause your permanent makeup to fade.
⦁ Eat a healthy diet
A healthy diet can help to improve your skin's overall health and appearance, which can also help to prolong the life of your permanent makeup.
⦁ Quit smoking
Smoking can damage your skin and cause your permanent makeup to fade prematurely.
