Haven't been drawing lately, so have some room design

I lack the ability to put furniture in a room without first digitally drafting the entire thing. Why would I embrace serendipity when I could instead plot my home by the square inch? These images brought to you by my Bosch laser measure.

Art Studio/Office

First we have the room where all my miscellaneous Ikea furniture goes. Our spare room was supposed to be my studio/workshop/office, but instead it became Storage Unit 2.0. After over a year of living here I am finally getting around to setting it up properly. Included are spaces for the following:

Digital art

Traditional art

Crafting/Making

3D printing

Sewing

Printing

The Home Gym

Our garage is such a weird shape; it was advertised as a 2-car garage but instead of parking side-by-side, the cars have to park one behind the other. It might fit if you drive golf carts? Either way, I turned the back half into a home gym. I was considering adding some type of faux wood floor to minimize the prison aesthetic, but dang flooring is expensive.

Home Spa

And now for something completely ridiculous. I treated myself to a spa day for my birthday, and I loved it so much that naturally I have to have a complete spa for myself. This was designed to fit in a standard 2-car garage and includes the following:

Hot tub (102 F)

Tepid tub (95 F)

Cold plunge (50F)

Sauna

Double shower/steam room

Sensory deprivation tank

Small bathroom

Vanity/sink

Ignoring the inconvenient fact that I do not have a 2-car garage, I speced this out at roughly $40k (not counting the giraffe). The pools are low-mid tier and the sauna comes prefab. Although I have neither a house with a garage nor 40,000 spare dollars, I may use this concept to play with archviz in the near future.

Concept art for some different parts of my clan's territory! I wanted to find ways to better differentiate it from Cinderslag at a glance (since both of them are major settings in the comic and it might get confusing if they look too similar).

Cinderslag's gonna look the same as it does on the site - cluttered, mechanical, rusty metal and dark volcanic rock starkly illuminated by bright orange lava - so I decided to give the Roost a bit of a softer look in comparison. Faded yellows and grays on the outside, warm reddish-browns on the inside, and more organic shapes from nature reclaiming it in a lot of places. Plus, I changed the factory to a more Victorian style with brick walls instead of the metallic design I had before. Makes it look more like a relic of the past!

The physical location is also meant to contrast Cinderslag, sitting in the middle of a wide-open field where the sky is clear and you can see for miles in any direction. It's supposed to be one of those things that can go from comforting to creepy at a moment's notice depending on how you look at it. Like, it's a nice breath of fresh air for someone who's spent their whole life in a claustrophobic city... but at the same time, you can't help but notice that there's literally nothing around you. Just a dead, barren expanse with nowhere to hide. Nobody can get in - or out - without being spotted. Hey, is it obvious that Nope is my favorite horror movie?

I also referenced some on-site food items for the plants! The bushes in the first one are meant to be Flameweed (though honestly I had a hard time deciphering the icon on that one and kind of had to improvise), and the third one has Cindershrooms sprouting out of the ground. I wanted to use Cindervine for the ivy clumps, too, but the colors didn't contrast well with the bricks.
