このスプリットレベルのライティングを修正するMOD！ なんか昔っから気になってたやつ～！修正ありがたい～♡♡♡ MODはBinに入れるファイルと、MODフォルダに入れるファイルで分かれています。「CHOOSE ONLY ONE(一つだけ選ぶ)」ファイルは3種→アクティブロットにだけ、公共区画にだけ、デフォルト、があります。プレイヤーはすべてのロットにMODが反映するデフォルトをテストしました。パフォーマンスに合わせて変更してみるのがいいのかもしれないです。 このMODの反映は、プレイモード時のみです。建築・購入画面では1枚めの画像の照明効果のままです。これはパフォーマンス上の理由と記載されています。※テスト後、プレイヤーの環境ではGShadeが入っているためゲームに不具合が生じましたのでMODを外し、ゲーム修正をしました。Patreonのほうでもシェーダーとの互換性についてコメントのやり取りがありましたので期待したいと思っています。

i think what’s so crazy is that when i played in sunset valley, my game crashed like, every 1-2 hours cause it would run out of memory (love that) but then after gen 1 ended and i moved to a new world… my game hasn’t crashed AT ALL, like i literally played for six hours with no crashing — why is sims 3 such an anomaly

I haven’t had a chance to write anything for the 11th anniversary of Rhythm Thief and the Paris Caper English release, but I just wanted to share a headcanon… regarding Marie’s birth father. 

I’m not suggesting the game could have been improved by his inclusion (Maybe he could’ve been mentioned in a potential sequel…), but I like to theorise so here we go. 

In the game, Marie is said to be the ‘last blood descendant of the Babylonian royal house’. As Elisabeth is a duchess— a member of French royalty— I’m going to assume Marie’s father was previously the last blood descendant on Babylonian royal house. Emphasis on last and previously…

In her diary, Elisabeth makes no mention of Marie’s father (as far as Raphael reads, anyway) when she discusses the day Marie was born. This leads me to believe Marie’s father wasn’t in the picture when Marie was born… but still, Elisabeth describes this as the happiest day of her life. 

I think Elizabeth was happy with Marie’s father (even if they were in a royal arranged marriage situation) and she knew he was the heir to Babylonian royal house, but this was kept under wraps, even from members of Elisabeth’s family—

Such as Jean-François. Oh, Jean-François… Surely didn’t set out with the intention of ruining his cousin’s happiness, but maybe he wanted to knock her down a peg? 

Elisabeth appeared to be this ice-cold perfect DUCHESS… while Jean-François was a mere history pupil at the Sorbonne. A pupil with great promise (according to JF’s former teacher, Alàn) but that’s nothing compared to the DUCHESS. Jean-François has money— enough to donate to convents— but not DUCHESS levels of money. He can arrange to give this random convent girl violin lessons, but Elisabeth has power over politicians and influence over Paris' high society. Jean-François craves this level of wealth and power, enough to make France reign supreme.

JF just needed to find a chink in Elisabeth’s armour… and maybe he got that chance when Elizabeth fell in love. As far as JF could tell, the man she fell for was a complete a nobody. A worthless, poor musician with an old violin. What exactly did Elisabeth see in him? Did she really want to produce an heir with this man…?

JF starts digging, until he discovers the truth. He confronts Marie’s father with the help of some chevaliers… and this leads to Marie’s father’s untimely disappearance.

His disappearance— labelled ‘Mystère Incident’— panics Elisabeth and her family at first, but the family relax when they find out Elisabeth is pregnant. She’s going to have an heir… and that’s all that matters, right? Who cares if the father left?

Elizabeth cares. She cares a lot… and she has her suspicions about Jean-François. She suspects JF knows her baby is the last blood descendant of the Babylonian royal house. 

Fearing Marie will suffer the same fate as her father, Elisabeth gives Marie away to the convent… where Marie falls right into Jean-François’s waiting hands.

Happy Christmas in July/August! This is my first time participating in this sort of event, so please enjoy some Poppet V2 recolors! They have all been separated into their own folders and come with all the necessary meshes.

Raon71 has 3.8K polys and uses a 512x512 texture.

Kijiko Somali has 9K polys, uses a 1024x1024 texture. The UF/UM meshes are combined into one file.

Peggy100109 has 9.7K polys and uses a 512x512 texture.

NewSea Dracarys has 11.5K polys and uses Keoni's Poppet V2 texture, shrunk to 1024x512.

Is Lazy Duchess Launcher worth it?

Lately I've been having huge pink flashing problems.

Deleting my cc is out of the question because I've seen people playing vanilla that still have pink flashing and people playing with 40+ GB have no problems (I have 11GB), so I've tried every solution but now it's become hell. Before I had PF ONLY if I played for hours and hours, now as soon as I open the game EVERYTHING is immediately pink.

I'm pretty sure everything has gotten worse since I installed the Better Nightlife mod (and before you tell me, yes, I have compatibility with the lighting mod I use and all the other shaders). I use Dreadpirate's Cinema Secret + Voeille water.

My PC is a gaming PC with Win10, the game is optimized with the graphic rules and the 4GB patch. All my CC are compressed and merged. Every single cc I have Is from safe and good cc creators here on Tumblr. My Download folder Is super organized, so I'm sure isn't a mod problem too.

The first time I had PF it was when I installed GShade years ago (now I have ReShade) but it was very rare. NEVER had it before.

I play with the view distance on medium, I try to use as few decorations as possible in the neighborhood and I have often noticed that I could play in neighborhoods without any decorations but it is often the neighborhoods with large lots (and not too big in size) that trigger pink flashing. house like the one of the Goths, for comparision.)

Sometimes it doesn't even matter if the lot has two pieces of furniture, Pink Flashing comes and devastates everything.

Isn't neither a thumbnails problem because I have already cached everything.

So the question: it's true that LD's Launcher greatly decreases the PF frequency? I never wanted to install it because I've never had PF problems, but now it's impossible to play.

I'm afraid to install it because I know many people who say that instead of improving the situation, the Launcher has made everything worse, that now the PF is more intense and that they suffer from a lot of lag...

So here are more questions:

Can I uninstall it without having to uninstall and reinstall the entire game if it causes me problems?

Can I start the game from its normal .exe even if I have installed the launcher? (Meaning, I know I have to run the game from the Launcher for the Launcher effects to work, I mean can I run the game without the Launcher effects, for comparison and stuff)

I'm not sure exactly where Camilla Tominey's comments are coming from, as they don't specify or link to a direct article. I'm assuming she made these comments on a podcast or interview somewhere else, which isn't specified.

The problem with saying/inferring Kate has always been a "part-time royal" is that we have the numbers from 2011 to 2023. She's ALWAYS had meager numbers as a royal, but now she's doing even less than what she was originally doing. She's being outworked by the 90-year-old Duke of Kent, who is a stroke survivor! She's done a whopping 20 days of public work since yesterday. Add in Trooping on Saturday and it'll be 21 by the end of the week, if nothing else happens.

It's now middle of June. Is Kate going to break 30 days of work before the first of July? If she attends Garter Day on Monday, that'll be 22. Need to find eight more days of public work for that to happen, and it seems pretty unlikely right now.

THE KP TITANIC has a HUGE problem right now. They see the comments around social media and on news articles. They know people with functioning brains can see how little Kate is appearing in public. Plenty of people remember that Kate's story about her "cancer" and that it was not consistent. THE KP TITANIC knows that most people aren't CULT members making excuses for their Dear Leaders, aka Will & Kate.

Do people not realize the photos released of William at a Duchy meeting today were not an accident? They were specifically released to make the rounds and give an impression he's appearing in public and not on vacay? If there wasn't a problem of Will & Kate not appearing in public enough to fulfill their public duties, then they wouldn't have released them!

I'm not surprised THE KP TITANIC is trying to spin to members of the rota that Kate was always "part time." It's all they have left, after Will & Kate's past behavior with their upcoming crisis.

To me the real story might be with the headline "staff losing patience." Are we going to see people jumping ship en masse because some people value their professional reputations? Like Jean Christophe Gray?
