Hi, I'm having a lot of new chronic symptoms and I'm trying to find an app (for android) or a website that will help me track my symptoms because my memory is bad because of all of it and I need to keep it all straight for doctors and stuff. Any suggestions?

My favorite symptoms tracker, although I don't know if they have an app, is Patients Like Me.  As far as apps, I like Instant Heart Rate and My Fitness Pal.  In general, I don't really use symptom trackers anymore because my health is relatively stable though.

 I'm sure other people will have some excellent suggestions!

what does self-DX mean?

It's short for self-diagnosis; which is something that a lot of financially inept people do to prevent unnecessary doctor's visits so they can get down to the problem faster. A lot of insurance plans have co-pays and on a minimum wage job, you don't have the fortune of going back 5+ times until your doctor figures out your ailment. 

Self diagnosis helps doctors as well as patients: case and point my PTSD. I self diagnosed and brought in a list of symptoms and test results and got a diagnosis in one appointment. 

Also, there's nothing wrong with it; because there's treatments for many disorders/diseases/ailments online. 

I'm self diagnosed (pending official) with trichotillomania as well.

To the anon who's stomach burns whenever you eat, it sounds to me like you might have an ulcer. I'm not a doctor, but you need to go talk to your doctor. If it is an ulcer, those can be really REALLY serious.

I added the size because they have different colors for different sizes but they had lots of different colors with the same cut for many different sizes at the store I went to

if you went online you'd probably be able to get any color in your size though
