Imagine suddenly having to leave your home and everything behind and be taken to live in the middle of nowhere. Manzanar was used to house people of Japanese decent living in California after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It's one of the very sad parts of American history however it's fabulous that the @nationalparkservice have preserved this so we can visit today and learn about what those poor people went through. #manzanar #usa #owensvalley #americanhistory #wwii #california #learnthepast #visittheusa (at Manzanar)
