Maybe the real world explanation for why we didn't get to see as much of '03 Leo and Don bonding was because the writers couldn't think of what to do with them or didn't have time to fit it in or something but in universe I choose to believe it's because they're already so comfortable with each other, their relationship doesn't require the same amount of onscreen "upkeep" or "maintenance". Overall Don is super easy to be around. Mikey's with him so often, Raph bickers with him the least. It's safe to assume he is that comfortable company for Leo too.

I get such a steady vibe from both of them. They're already at a point in their relationship where the reliance and trust and sharing of the wavelength is so inherent, we see them both have occasions where they go to address the other and have to be reminded that they aren't here right now. They're already that seamless. I have to assume/headcanon they built that foundation in childhood (maybe seeing each other as a fellow leveler head or just easier to be around when the other two were being rowdier/feistier/causing mischief/picking fights?)

Their bond to me feels like one of those relationships where you could be apart however long and then reconnect feeling like no time has passed. It comes naturally ergo it comes implied, rather than needing to go out of their way to show it as often. Of course we always want to see more but what we do get says a lot about what's already there -- (Don being fiercely, wholeheartedly ready to throw hands at anyone who lays a finger on Leo's poisoned body, my beloved. Leo swearing twice over "No matter what it takes", ready to make a deal with the devil for Don's cure, my beloved) -- and has been there all along, a lot longer than we get with them.

Rhys Darby was great as Chibi Perry, but - man - I so wanted to hear Dee Bradley Baker's voice coming out of that little guy. So... I just did it myself! My first swing at animation! (53 frames on 2's animated on Toon Boom Storyboard Pro)

It's far from perfect, but that's what practice is for, and for a first attempt, I think I did pretty okay! (Constructive criticism is welcomed!) BTW - if you're wondering who he's screaming at, I was considering adding a shot of 2D Doof getting punched, but I wanted to get this done and posted in time for the s5 premier. 🎉

So, here's a fun fact about me; I come from an Easter Orthodox Christian country and some of our holidays and traditions differ from those in the West. Most relevant today is that we usually celebrate Easter on a different day from Catholics and Protestants.

However, this year is one of a few exceptions.

This means I can freely tell all of you "Happy Easter Day!", or as we say here "Христос Воскресе!"

We're nearing the end of this year of CN City and I'm planning to conclude it with my largest city piece! (That is if I hopefully get to finish it by the deadline I've given myself, lol.) "This is Cartoon Network."

Idk how to explain it but there was this Ed Edd n Eddy animatic on YouTube back in 2019 with this song that had calm but quite sad tune to it, the only lyric i remember from it was something like "my body".
