it does not matter that the hand is not technically his. it also doesn’t matter that he controls the hand generally without the consent of the body it is attached to.

Dear Left-Handed people

is there a cult I can join? can we just start a cult. all of us banding together and compare issues in a dark humor way. does this exist? cause that'd be great. I wanna rant.

left handed scissors are expensive, teachers get confused when I start my notebooks from the back, and people I've known for month suddenly stare at me write because they realize im left-handed.

Been at work for 12 hours, got home and I’m starving and all I want is my lil tin of spaghetti hoops. Used my normal person (see: right handed person) tin opener for the first time and my gOD I couldn’t get into the tin properly 😤🤬 had to prise it open almost cutting my fingers in the process….. need my electronic one back I think

Every single left handed person that I’ve met in my life has had that very distinct left handed aura, you can just tell upon meeting them that there’s a little something different. They look unhinged and unsettling in a kinda neutral way.

But also sometimes you meet someone with that aura and they’re somehow not left handed and you stand there like ??? Not even ambidextrous ?? What is up ??

IMPORTANT TIP FOR LEFT HANDED TUMBLR USERS ON MOBILE!!

Did you know that you can change the placement of the post button on the mobile app?

Usually the post button is placed on the right of the screen!! This is fitted more for right handed people…which is unfortunate for anyone who isn’t. BUT!! You can change that!! Here’s how!!

•1,you hold onto the post button for a few seconds!!

If done right,the post button will look to be bigger,and you can move it around across your screen,the various options for it such as photos,chat,etc following behind the post button like so!! Here’s an example of what it may look like!!

But this isn’t just for flair,believe it or not!!

When you’re done moving it around and you let go of the post button while it’s on the left of the screen,the post button will move to the bottom left corner of the screen!! Which of course,makes it easier for left handed folk!! Of course you can change this back anytime by doing the same thing I showed you,of course!!

But yeh!! That’s about it!! I just discovered this today!! I myself am not left handed but this is SO helpful to anyone who is!!

I like seeing images of old-timey letters like the ones posted by @yeoldenews because it’s very reassuring to realize that even people Back Then, who we are often told had such gorgeous penmanship, in reality just scrawled giant script words, and invented new ways of shaping the letter “e,” and crossed their t’s without intersecting the letter at all.

As a left-hander, I cannot tell you haw validating this is.

I noticed tumblr it's made for right handed people, there should be a left handed mode so you can use your left hand to click "post" "reblog" give likes etc.

another left handed thing that is probably me-specific but it'd be cool if anyone else related:

so. left and right. most people are right handed, so their right side is normal. when they say "right," they use their normal side.

but for me, i'm left handed. my left side is the "normal" side, so when people say "right," i immediately think "ah, they're talking about the normal side!" and use my left inside of right, because that's what is normal to me.

am i making sense???? or am i simply trying to justify the fact that i am incapable of telling my left and right apart
