So in Legacystuck, who dreams on which moon? Because I think Apple would be a Derse dreamer and Raven would be on Prospit. ( an old homestuck blog pointed out Derse dreamers all interact with others through a filter while Prospit dreamers are more honest with their emotions)
I personally view derse/prospit a little differently; it seems to me, especially with the beta/alpha kids, that derse dreamers tend to play an active role within the narrative, and that prospit dreams tend to play a passive role.
I think about john drifting around at the whims of the universe for the first several thousand pages while rose enters the game and immediately tries to break it. maybe this isn't the most useful divide, but it's the way I've been conceptualizing it; I reserve the right to go do some reading and come back and revise these eventually.
so with that in mind, this is how I have the major* players divided (*bc there are 2+6+12+12 kids in this whole thing and I don't feel like showing my full hand right now)
SESSION A2
bunny -- prospit
kitty -- derse
maddie -- prospit
lizzie -- derse
SESSION B1
briar -- prospit
apple -- derse
daring -- derse
dexter -- prospit
duchess -- derse
SESSION B2
raven -- derse
cerise -- prospit
cedar -- prospit
darling -- derse

SO
Pyro and I have basically made an entire freaking world for our stabdads AU.
I KNOW, I KNOW - we're crazy. Basically, we have BirthRight, which is the main story with the Crew, the Sleuths and all the associated stabkids (with some other characters too)
and then
we have this. Legacystuck! It focuses on the long ago times when Derse and Prospit were warring kingdoms, and stretches from the beginning of the civilisations right up to the founding of the Midnight City. The Agents are the ancestors to the Crew, and there's a LOT of world-building we've done. See that alphabet? That's Ancient Prospitan. Yep, we created a language. We also made entire cultures for the old races, and currently I'm trying to work in some chess themes for the Agents.
These are all the digital drawings I have for the AU currently - there's a lot more I haven't scanned, but enjoy what there is here. Maybe in the future we'll write some stories for this, but honestly the BirthRight AU comes first since it's the main story.

I am SO CURIOUS to know how you arrived at Prince(ss) of Mind for Apple White! What stood out to about that class/aspect, or what message were you trying to create with the role? (AKA I want to give you an excuse to talk about Legacystuck, I am an old guard Homestuck and its lore is so interesting to apply to other fandoms!)
Happy Saturday!
YIPEEEE okay so here were my general thoughts. this got wayyy too long too fast so I put most of it under the cut since I know the EAH+homestuck overlap probably isn't huge
okay first of all, there's a lot of online discussion of the way princes tend to look like the opposite of their given aspect -- dirk "ghosts" mind by being cold & analytical; eridan "ghosts" rage by being vengeful & destructive. apple may, in turn, "ghost" heart by being preoccupied with the sense of identity (story) and her role in it (legacy)
the reason why apple is not heart, though, is that apple is secure in her identity -- at least in terms of, in EAH, how that applies to who she wants to be and how she wants to get it. she's preoccupied with her sense of self, but she also knows it, and knows other people's. given nepeta's cave paintings (all the different combinations of the ways relationships could go) + dirk's fragments (all the different combinations of the people he could be), apple isn't as concerned about that as a heart player would be.
so, tl;dr: apple can look a lot like a heart player; this is because she, as a prince, ghosts heart.
why is she mind, then? honestly, a class and an aspect did come to me together -- a classpect, rather than me figuring out her aspect and then her class. so for her to be mind, you have to understand:
that prince is a destructive class. this means whatever her aspect is, she destroys it, or uses it to destroy herself & others.
mind is an aspect that for me is fundamentally about choice and consequence. when terezi flips a coin, that's mind. she can see the timeline, same as rose, because she's a seer; but rose sees the one best timeline, because her light aspect leads her to the ideal ending. a game of chance won by luck. terezi sees every timeline, because every choice she makes spirals into branches and branches of consequences. she views these all.
apple as a prince of mind would destroy choice and consequence. the idea of her being able to destruct timelines she doesn't like, or be able to remove people's ability to make certain decisions based off of what she views to be the consequence of them, really spoke to me when paralleled with her role within the original story: someone who desperately wants raven to choose one branch, one choice, based off of the paths that apple can see and the identity she wants raven to have -- again, ghosting heart, but with the focus on mind.
I think that's the gist of it !! you probably know a fair bit about classpecting & I didn't need to re-explain, but I know that everyone has their own classpect interpretations & mine are definitely relevant for the way I've classpected everyone. that's right -- everyone. I have classpects for *checks notes* 32 ever after high characters and they took me a WHILE to figure out. I've had this AU on the backburner for months and months and finally got around to doodling it so hopefully I'll post more soon!

If you aren’t ready to confirm this, don’t worry about it, but is the minimum session that starts all of this the Grimm Brothers?????? :O
(Happy Thursday!)
(SORRY FOR SUCH A LATE ANSWER)
and oooo that IS such a good idea.... sadly not the one I had in mind though >:)

for anyone vaguely interested in legacystuck but has no earthly clue about what happens in homestuck, here's a REALLY brief summary just of the main mechanics of the game, which is the most relevant stuff for this AU
basically, some internet friends play a video game. the game is called sburb.
WHAT IS SBURB?
the game is jumanji-esque in that once you start playing, you're stuck in it, and the only way to get out is to either win the game or to die trying.
the game interfaces with reality; you're not sucked into it, the game affects the world around you.
playing the game is reliant on two people: one person has to host the server, and then the second person downloads the client version of the game. the second person is now stuck in the game; the server host is not, but is able to interfere with the second player's world by clicking stuff on their screen, which equates to destroying or moving things in the client's world.
you don't need to wrap your head around that too much; it's not the most important part.
COOL. WHAT DO YOU DO IN SBURB?
you play the game by traveling through gates to different areas of the map, and you complete tasks to level up. when you hit higher levels, you have greater control of your powers, which are:
your "classpect" (class+aspect) is assigned by the game, which is basically what kind of magic powers you have
upon entering the first gate, a world is generated unique to each person's classpect and personality. this is a near-endless map that has little animal creatures called "consorts." they have villages and an economy and stuff. they're cute
at the center of this planet is something called a "denizen" which is basically a megaboss; you have to either fight & kill them, or strike a deal with them for whatever they want in exchange for not killing you.
when you fall asleep in the game, you wake up either on a gold moon (prospit) or a purple moon (derse). these moons are at war with each other. you have to kill some key political figures for an ideal game session. this is relevant, but not for right now, so I'm not going to go too deep into this.
there are frogs. a frog is a universe. you have to breed the frogs, and then if you have created the perfect frog, that will be your new universe. because it turns out that the game actually destroys your previous world permanently. there's no going back; there's only moving forward.
also, your inventory is called a "sylladex." god knows why.
at the beginning you have to make a little sprite out of an object and a semi-living being. this thing follows you around and gives you unhelpful advice. this is only semi-related to the political situation on the moons. don't worry about it too much.
don't worry about that guy with a black carapace and a knife. he likes to stab people. it's probably fine.
there's obviously a lot more, given that homestuck is 8000 pages long, BUT! these are the basics. I think. for the things that are going to be most important for the AU I am making. if you read all of this, holy shit hi wow if not, people who follow me can just block the legacystuck tag

Okay, looks like my complimentary response is too long too, so I’m going to try and bullet some things together and then ask more questions of interest :D  I also never got the time with a desktop that I wanted, so I’m going to try and do this over mobile and format as best I can.
Full disclosure, I got into Homestuck during the Gigapause, and then rode to the finale of Classic Homestuck. Never got into the epilogues, H^2, or any non-fandom created explainers of classes or aspects. Classpects remain one of my favorite parts of Homestuck’s worldbuilding because of how epic they felt, but I might be coming to this discussion confidently adhering to outdated information. Apologies in advance!
Your decision to have Apple arrive at Heart-like concepts through the roundabout influence of Mind makes so much sense. Her identity is not something she naturally possesses; it’s something she constructs, either by her own choices or by choices forced on her by others. The idea of a Mind player as an agent of Legacy, preserving and perpetuating the choices of others, is VERY cool.
Giving Apple a Destructive class is so, SO interesting. There’s a lot of stuff that rings true from the surface level to the depths of the character. Apple wants to destroy choices that threaten the Storybook of Legends. But she can also turn that destruction inward, destroying her OWN ability to make choices that would result in a different story than the one that was written. If I’m imagining EAH characters in famous Homestuck situations, I can easily see Apple becoming “pathologically determined” on the level of Vriska. And we all know what Vriska was capable of…
But THEN, you said something VERY interesting! “Destroys choice and consequence.” What if Apple’s friends helped her realize that there’s more than one way to tell a story? That the stories will continue to exist, even if we don’t perpetuate them? That she’ll be safe outside of your story because all her friends are with her? Well, if Apple is able to resist destroying her friends’ choices, maybe she can destroy the CONSEQUENCES of choices. If you choose to go into the woods at night, you might meet a witch who will try to eat you. Or you won’t, because Apple White says so. She would almost resemble a Light player in this way, using narrative language to eliminate potential outcomes of decisions.
Let me see if I can compare to iconic Homestuck moment to highlight what I’m going on about. So, the decision that leads to Terezi killing Vriska is Seeing how Vriska confronting Jack Noir would lead Jack to the Meteor and kill them all. If a Prince of Mind is destroying consequences of choices, Apple could destroy Vriska’s sparkle-trail that would lead Jack to the Meteor. Vriska’s choice is her own, but it will exist in quarantine. Vriska might still get splatted (or she might not! She’s still Vriska), but the meteor would be safe.
New bullet because the other one was getting long; maybe ‘destruction of consequences’ could be another way for Apple to defend the Storybook of Legends without forcing her friends to shoulder their destinies. She could destroy the causal relationship between descendants’ choices and the perpetuation of their canonical legacies. It doesn’t matter if you don’t become the Evil Queen. By the will of Apple White, the story endures.
FINAL ADDITION, I thought of Apple using the “destroy consequences” power against her enemies. Oh, you thought you could force us into a single decision? That’s cute. Consequences: DESTROYED. We can continue as we want. Great job, Apple. We love you.
Lastly, THRILLED AND DELIGHTED to hear that you have so many classpects worked out for so many characters! This brings up so many other opportunities! Have you given thought to which characters would form sessions to enter the Medium together? How those sessions might link up or collide? Do you have planet names? Who’s a Prospit vs Derse dreamer?! XD LegacyStuck is just so full of opportunity!!!
Thanks for your patience and your creativity! I look forward to seeing more!!!!!
