For some reason, it’s a really common sentiment in this fandom that Penny and Ezra’s parents were somehow abusive or neglectful. This has always kind of bothered me, because there’s actually nothing to indicate that in the script.

Here’s what Penny canonically has to say about her upbringing:

So, like, they were crunchy, yes, but clearly not anti-science if they were genuinely learning about chemistry, astronomy, and the like. Their literal only “crime” was cultivating and using weed, which they inexplicably got fifteen years for. This is specifically highlighted and satirized as a Bad Thing™ and a miscarriage of justice in the script, so I’m not sure why so many people in the fanbase are convinced that they somehow actually WERE horrible parents for (reads smudged writing on hand) smonking the devil’s evil lettuce.

Id like to shout out my friends who dealt with me not wanting to finish this since October. I almost gave up because 1. I didn't like the pose 2. I wanna change my janey design

I did just use a bg off Google cuz I cannot draw backgrounds + the layout make me mad and ibis alr deep fryed the quality (tbf I chose. The WORST brush and only swapped halfway)
