im realizing i dont post a lot about the actual lore of my ocs ... might start with him since he's a lot easier to explain than characters like The Lems (my god they're a species at this point. they're all so complicated and have a lot of parts to their story that i dont want to type out because i feel like i'll miss something </3 UGH why do i do this to myself)

he has like. 2 parts to his lore basically. so far. i don't write a lot for him because he kind of works as just a concept. then again his personality is very flat at the moment and almost a joke at this point - i really need to give him something seriously or he'll be sentenced to Forever The Comic Relief with Zippr (you guys havent met him yet) and Pop-up ... whatever GO my time angel !!!!!!!!! bless tumblr with your twink power?

i dont write. not in my free time anyways - most ive done is like. school assignments where i have to be creative or ill die. and so i havent in a while because it's not really my 'signature talent' like art is, because ive practiced it for so long. but im starting to realize that i'm actually kind of good at writing? i don't know where i got it from (as i said i don't practice much) but i'm having more fun writing now than i used to and have actually started doing it in my free time. and then i feel guilty because it's not My Thing That I'm Good At and i havent put any time or effort into it like i have with my art does that make sense. how do i fix this pain wtf. how do i feel less guilty for enjoying something that i don't do

sorry i promise im not tyring to BLOW UP MY OWN DASHBOARD but i originally came to post this

i just shoved it together. it is bad. but i have been meaning to make it for a long long time to actually explain things better for others and i to understand the Lem Hierarchy or whatever. in this post i may also explain the concept of the lems . temporarily. because somebody asked and now i feel obligated to answer. read below if interestred . tw for mentions of death. .. ??!?

the lems start off with this Fucked Up Girl who gets SHOT IN THE HEAD AND DIES okay. the death was not supposed to happen. she is revived and somethig about it tthrows off the entire natural balance . her shadow separates from her in result (which is living. shadows here are like parasites.)

this sets off a whole chain of events with her dying and being brought back again, and each time another her with another mind is made it is a very interesting concept for me. lem grows to become a very bad person (the original split with her and dark lem was kind of like a personality split, leaving her with the worse and harder to control parts) and has a very toxic codependent relationship with dark lem. it is a whoole thing. it is lots of thing.
