Two things are true: there's visceral satisfaction in seeing something dire happen on-screen, a big explosion, houses crumbling, heads flying off, rivers of blood, but also how powerful the implied horror can be when it stays off-screen. I personally prefer the latter by far, as you can see here.

I wanted to show that Vivi and Alisaie care about each other, and didn't feel like pussyfooting around with it. This scene might look brutal, but it does its job.

im removing the mayoi (frogs in caves) bc i dont like how satori and its aesthetic was turned from something mysterious and otherwordly to yet another collectable-

so im turnign the frog idea into a single thing living in the underground as a counterpart to satori itself- perhaps it resides in a giant tree growing from the ceiling bc i ASLO didnt like how there was that at first cool looking underground tree with all the rumis (rabbit things) but then it was quite literally nothing (again)

this idea is pretty new so i am still working on the details, im all ears for suggestions :P

Saw a post being like “if a fundraiser is a scam who cares if some people lose $15 to a scam anyway” and it really has me caught off guard because it’s like ?? Any genuine concern is not for a few people losing out on some money - it’s that people in need, the intended recipients, don’t get the money. And they are not losing out on one donation, they get the cumulative effect of however many donations are instead scooped up by grifters. There’s only so much money people are able to give.
