Ethan knocked on Laura's desk, stirring her as she started nodding off to sleep. "Rise and shine, darling!"
"Oh, Mr. Henderson, sorry! I wasn't sleeping, I just.... I probably need a coffee."
"Why not get up and get one?"
Laura blushed. "Ummmm..... I, uh..... I'd rather not get up."
"Now why's that? And straighten up your back, your posture is getting terrible, darling."
Laura tried to sit up straight but didn't quite make it as the weight of her thirty-pound breasts lifted off her desk. "I'll try.... it's getting a bit hard to carry these things."
"Nonsense, you aren't even that large yet, Kim in accounting has breasts double your size and she's fine."
"She uses a wheelchair...."
"See? You just need to get inventive. And if you want to keep earning a paycheck with my company you better not get any funny ideas about skipping your supplements."
"I know, I know..... I like working here. It's just kind of hard to grow such big boobs so fast. I'm not used to it, is all."
"Well, you better be grateful, darling. Since Prop 845 passed, I could technically make extreme pregnancy mandatory or even have you strapped into a fuck machine all shift. I could tell our company insurance to prescribe almost anything to you, or perform any surgery. There are plenty of companies where every female employee is turned into a quad amputee!"
"I know.... Thank you for taking pity on us...... I'm happy to grow such massive breasts for you and all my coworkers to enjoy."
"That's the spirit." Ethan placed his hand on Laura's breasts, squeezing it. "My, they are getting nice and full aren't they."
"Yeah....." Laura blushed and nodded submissively.
"Now you get back to work, but I better not see you dozing off!"
"I know, I just..... these company parties are taking it out of me! It's a struggle to carry my boobs around but to perform for so many men almost every work night until 1am! Sir...... My whole body aches."
"I know, you are quite the trooper, and you're getting very popular with your coworkers. It's impressive watching that pussy and ass of yours take so many hours of abuse in a row. You're quite the seasoned little nymph."
"I don't have much choice...."
"All while carrying these little rays of sunshine." He forcibly pushed back her shoulders, pushing her back in her seat a couple feet, revealing her big round belly sticking out, covered in stretch marks, babies kicking and squirming inside. He held her shoulders up, head tilted back as he kissed her neck smacking her belly a few times. "I appreciate your commitment to the company by getting nice and pregnant from our staff parties."
"I-I don't really have much choice, sir. They fill my pussy up for hours on end every work night......"
"Good girl. I like to think of us as one big family at this company." He squeezed one of her overgrown breasts, causing it to squirt milk through her top. "I'm the dad, and you're the cum-rag little sister we all use to relieve ourselves in." He arched her back more, kissing her on the lips from behind.
Laura tensed up, tapping on his hand holding her shoulders back, the strain from her breasts and belly feeling unbearable. "Ummm! Sir, please let go!"
"Nonsense, darling. Let's have some--"
Laura gasped as a loud click came from her neck. "!!! What was that!?"
"Oh dear, that didn't sound good. I told you sleeping at your desk wasn't a good idea....."
"Uhhhh, I can't feel my arms or legs! Wh-What's going on?"
Ethan smiled, propping her against the back of her chair. He roughly squeezed both of her breasts. "Can you feel that?"
She shook her head. "No...."
"How about this?" He slapped her pregnant belly as hard as he could, so the whole office could hear.
"Nothing.... Mr. Henderson....! I can't feel anything. I can't move anything below my neck!"
"Awwww, poor thing." He suddenly wheeled her out in front of the whole floor. "Announcement everyone. Announcement! Ms. Laura Davis's back just snapped from her unwavering dedication to our company and its bottom line! This is the kind of commitment I want to see from you girls. Now our Laura will need help doing everything from going to the restroom, to getting around the office. Hey, Mason, can you train Ms. Davis on how to use our ocular computer software so she can get back to her remarkable data entry skills. And feel free to have some fun with her along the way, not like she can get up and stop you. From now on, Ms. Davis is free use, I'll be promoting her as our new Stress Relief Expert as of this afternoon! Congratulations, Laura."
The whole floor erupted into applause as people walked up to Laura, congratulating her one by one, some lifted her hand, others grabbed her breasts or rubbed her belly as they congratulated her. Laura gracefully nodded and thanked all of her coworkers, blushing deep red.
One guy reached between her legs, fondling her wet sex. "No reason to hold back anymore, we can go all out and you won't feel a thing. Can't wait to bring the guys to the company party tonight. We're gonna have some serious fun now, girlie."
Laura gulped and nodded. "I-I can't wait.... I'll do my best to satisfy you..... even if I won't feel a thing," she said, almost relieved she won't have to feel every guy at the company relentlessly pound her ass and pussy for hours every work night.... Laura smiled gratefully, thinking to herself it'll be kind of fun to just watch everything happen to her body instead of having to endure it. Even if she'll miss cumming over and over....

it skeeves me out how some people talk about the Yellowjackets 'losing their humanity/minds/empathy/etc' especially in the sense of comparing them to each other, saying Natalie or Akilah for example are more human(e) than Misty or Lottie or Shauna when the whole point of the show is each of these people are traumatized, each of these people have committed violence, each is complicit in death and cannibalism, each is suffering, each is struggling to survive.
obviously the show depends on a massive extended metaphor/theme of the characters becoming one with the Wilderness, becoming animalistic predators, etc, but I think there's a difference between acknowledging and discussing that theme, and actually without irony or figurative speech claiming that their humanity is diminished, especially comparing them to each other and saying that the more violent, wrathful, unstable ones are less human.
It ties into ableism, racism, as well as the dangerous association of humanity with moral purity, distancing ourselves from our capability of causing harm by dehumanizing those who commit violence we struggle to understand; and I think it misses the POINT of Yellowjackets and stories like it which is that human beings can seem animalistic and feral in their violent and erratic behavior but that is because we are not uniquely above the rest of the natural world, not because violent, antisocial, or mentally atypical behavior separates us from the rest of humanity.
And if you watch the latest episode, you'll see the Yellowjackets stalking and hunting like predators, making animal calls and roars, running fast and low and feral, and then having deep conversations, protecting the strangers they ran after, letting a little frog out of a jar, trying to call home. Lottie was eating blood from a guy's head wound and she also went up and asked if she could help her wounded friend. She didn't lose her humanity. Humanity isn't something you can lose anymore than those frogs can stop being frogs. She simply killed another human. It's something humans do all the time.
#yellowjackets#yellowjackets spoilers#i just think if you're saying some of these girls are better than the others you're kinda missing the point

behnchod, madarchod, baanki maagi,, bokachoda, you fucking hoe, rot in fucking hell, you brother fucker, motherfucker, gaandu, randi, saala, harami, bohot tez samajh ta hai apne aap ko? Bhosdika, bara, saale gaand choos tu apna, kindly f yourself
Tere krishna ne terko gaali dena sikhaya hai!?!! Where are hindu women's SANSKAAR??? Tum aurte khud ko mhan samjhte ho i guess u r bhramin that's why u have superiority complex. WhatsApp university se padhna chod or real world me aa jaa
Let's start with the biggest issue I have with scriptures in Hinduism and the casual misogynistic tone in the marriage department.
Ramacharitmanas 3.4.4 - "A woman who treats her husband with disrespect even though he is old, sick, dull-headed, *wrathful* or *most wretched*, she shall suffer various torments in hell (The abode of Yama)"
Vishnusmriti 24.41 -A damsel whose menses begin to appear (while she is living) at her father's house, before she has been betrothed to a man, has to be considered as a degraded woman: by taking her (without the consent of her kinsmen) a man commits no wrong.
Valmiki Ramayana 2/24/20 - - Ram said \*"As long as a woman is alive, her husband is her god and master to her"\*
Valmiki Ramayana 2/24/25 - "Even if a woman is interested in religious vows and fastings, in addition to being the best of the excellent; if she doesn't obey her husband, she will become ill-fated!!"
Matsya Purana 154.166 - "The husband even if poor, illiterate, and devood of fortune, is like a god to his wife."Mahabharata
Anushasana Parva 146.55 - Husband alone is the God for women
Srimad Bhagwatam 6/18/33-36 - "A husband is the supreme deity for the woman. The Supreme, Lord Vasudeva is situated in everyone's heart and is worshipped through the various names and forms of the demigods by fritive workers. Similarly, a husband represents the Lord as the object of worship for a woman. A wife should be chaste and obey all orders of her husband. She should very devoutly worship her husband as a representative of Vasudeva."
Sage Ashtavakra said:Women can never be their own mistresses. This is the opinion of the Creator himself, viz., that a woman never deserves to be independent. There is not a single woman in the three worlds that deserves to be regarded as the mistress of her own self. The father protects her while she is a maiden. The husband protects her while she is in youth. Sons protect her when she is aged. Women can never be independent as long as they live.
Oh ho! Now you are asking our SANSKAAR!? Ram sikhate hai ki maryada mein rehte kaise hai.
Krishna sikhate hai ki maryada mein rakhte kaise hai.
Listen you motherfucker. I don't need to be educated on this. You dare question our SANSKAAR? WE became like THIS to PROTECT OURSELVES. WE learnt SWEAR WORDS BECAUSE MEN STARTED TO USE THEM FIRST!!!
And women can never be independent, eh? Look around the fucking world will you, ot do you use braille to type?
First you make us like this and now question US? Atleast hum aurate apne aapko mahan sigma male to nhi smjh ti, na? Aurato ko tum log hamesha 'women ☕️' karte rehte ho, unko disrespect karte ho, rapists ko support karte ho, unke saath jo unyay hota hai usko supprt karte ho, and when we stand up for ourselves, us hindu women's SANSKAAR dissappeared!? THIS is the reason why women hate men now.
Tu Insta reels se sab kuchh learn karrna band karr aur apni aakhe charo taraf ghuma, bsdk.
We can be our own mistresses, and we will be our own mistresses. Idc what anyone thinks, i stand with my opinion. Agar teri Maa nahi hoti, to tu bhi janm nhi le pata gadhere.
You know Maa Kaali as well as Maa Adi Para Shakti, right? Did they need a man to fight? Or to protect them? They protected themselves, and fought demons, monsters just to protect their children. Yea ok i agree with the 'devoted to husband' part, but if her dignity comes in question, she WILL fight back!

Transiting Sun enters Gemini
Monday, May 20 - Thursday, June 20, 2024
Gemini the Twins*:
• Air (social and mental - communicative, detached, abstract, changeable)
• Yang (levity - outgoing, expressive, logical, left-brained)
• Mutable (adapting to learning - distributing, connecting, flexible, scattered)
• Personal (focused on personal wants and needs)
• "I think"
• Ruler - Mercury; exalted - nothing official, but Ms M thinks it’s the Lady Asteroids
• Color: impudent dandelion yellow, busting up the green monotony of all those Taurus lawns
(* Gleaned almost completely from the book Astrology for Yourself by Bloch and George; the color is my own theory/belief.)
Happy Gemini season! I want to point out first that we’ve had all the visible planets cramped together in just about 70° of Zodiac, for a few months now. You know how it feels when you walk into a room that’s been closed off for a while? Hot, stifling, and stuffy - we can’t get the windows open fast enough. And that’s how Gemini season is going to go down (if we let it), opening the windows wide and freshening life.
(Ms M’s windows - safely on the second floor - tend to remain open from mid-May to the first snowfall.)
But. Sometimes that breeze stirs up the dust, and we have to clean it up. Sometimes those opened windows make it easier to hear all the traffic, the sirens, the g-d- birds at 4 fricking am - or the neighbor’s horrendously bad taste in music. Do we shut the window and risk getting stuffy again, or do we (learn to) tune it out?
We have some opportunities ahead, and some challenges. Too many options? Options vanishing into the fog? I think a lot of Gemini season is going to be about making more mature choices.
Allow a day or so on either side:
Wednesday, May 22 - Thursday, May 23:
Sun/Gemini trine Pluto/Aquarius, 2°00’
Full Moon, 2°55’ Sagittarius
A fresh perspective; a new, powerful way of looking at things. Shedding light on different possibilities.
Friday, May 31 - Sun/Gemini square Juno/Virgo, 10°27’. Our partners aren’t doing what we want them to do, how we want them to do it. Beware of nagging - coming out of your mouth. A bit emotionally insensitive.
Sunday, June 2 - Sun/Gemini sextile North Node/Aries, trine South Node/Libra, 12°44’. Maintaining our independence of thought - very positive, effective self-talk.
Tuesday, June 4 - Sun/Gemini conjunct Venus/Gemini, 14°29’. This is important not only for its pleasant, sociable vibe - it’s the halfway point of the Sun-Venus cycle. Halfway between retrogrades, I should clarify.
Thursday, June 6 - New Moon, 16°16’ Gemini. Growing pains. Things are changing, and it’s up to us to determine where life is going and what (if anything) we ought to do about it.
Sunday, June 9 - Sun/Gemini square Saturn/Pisces, 19°05’. Sun-Saturn in mutable signs can get very judgemental. There can be a lot of slippery mental gymnastics and contortions as we attempt to justify our poor choices. Paralyzing commitment-phobia.
Wednesday, June 12 - Sun/Gemini sextile Chiron/Aries, 22°44’. Healing - if you have apologies to deliver, use this! Very good for teaching and learning, too.
Friday, June 14 - Sun/Gemini conjunct Mercury/Gemini, 24°06’. This is also a halfway point, this time between Mercury retrograde cycles. A chatty, breezy day. Remember to listen, too.
Saturday, June 15 - Sun/Gemini sextile Eris/Aries, 25°23’. Standing up for ourselves, verbally. Encouraging other people, cheering them on.
Thursday, June 20 - Sun/Gemini square Neptune/Pisces, 29°53’. On the very verge of the Cancer Solstice, the fig comes in. Our poor brains can’t determine which way to go. We’ll have to use our feelings, after the Sun enters Cancer.

Wow it’s 2025 and the dumbass miracusalters are still going on with the Lila/Iris/Bianca hate?? How pathetic for a bunch of adults seething in their hate. I think their thinking process has become inconsistent or even nonexistent because they’ve been too fixated on hating a specific character.
They keep on creating hate content and we can keep on roasting them for fun. I mean at least we’re speaking here and not leaving comments on their blogs. They really do be allergic to the slightest bit to criticism and block anyone, not just being too lazy to do canon research.
Canonically speaking, the other franchises’ characters who’ve actually been abused and/or tortured? Even those who weren’t abused would still act better than Saltinette. They wouldn’t want to be dragged into Saltinette’s petty school drama just to punish her opps. Because they had to grow up fast and are more mature than she’ll ever be. They’d rather use their time, skills and resources for much bigger priorities such as helping those in emergency and hunting down dangerous criminals.
Saltinette in her Ladybug costume: “Why aren’t you supposed to help me out?! I thought we are heroes who were supposed to support each other! There’s this liar in school that needs to be outed!”
Other franchise’s characters look dumbfounded: “Ma’am, it’s just a minor inconvenience compared to the enemies you and your team face.”
“Yea, at least that high schooler didn’t take things too far. I didn’t hear any rumors or news of her committing any crimes yet.”
“Sigh* We have better things to do than involve ourselves in petty school fights… At least I ignored the idiots in my school and pretend they don’t exist. Or just lightly use my powers to make them look crazy or bad and ppl would not believe them. Alternatively, I let karma kick their asses aside from the responsible authority figure actually doing their jobs.”
“Bruh, I didn’t use my powers to get back at my bullies that much. One time I did, someone else thought I was a bully so I didn’t do it again in school. Otherwise that enemy would send me to another dimension again.”
“Why didn’t you just do it yourself in the first place by telling that young reporter about the liar? Then you would’ve saved yourself a lot of trouble by saying something along the lines of, ‘I don’t know this person claiming to be best friends with Ladybug. That’s dangerous and she’s a huge target.’”
“It’s overkill I tell ya. Overkill for a minor issue. And I thought I overreacted several times in my life…”
They’re hopeless and wank off of overkill until it is the favorite at risk. Very ironic for their whining of Lila but then don’t want Saltinette to be exposed & outted for the crap she spams and holds (including being a liar too) .
Marimites get highly Upsette whenever characters don’t align to what they see fulfills their fantasy thirst over a minor inconvenience. If they think something should happen this way, it gets ingrained in them.
They really think characters (should feel like remembering everything or caring to remember when they have other things in their life to do.).
Similarly to what you said. If someone tells me something, I’m likely going to forget or not care in a range of minutes to hours. I have other things I’m interested in or care to do or focus on.
Never will understand these Miraculous buffoons and their fixations. Selectively deleting everything they see and know happens, just to fulfill their strange delusion(s).
Unfortunately people increased levels of stupidity and went immediately after that new girl Sublime and went out their ways to try linking her to Lila. They also seem to choose when foam upon Sublime being good at things. Went on a route of trying to excuse Marinette’s nonsense towards her (that’s putting it lightly) that she didn’t have to create to begin with.
Also heard crap of people saying oh Sublime is an antagonist cause oh she’s with her parents, while they talk to Tomoe Tsurugi. Magnificent tryhards for defending Marinette by any means be like. Whining over Sublime being good at multiple things too.
They look for anything of another character’s actions. Marimites look for anything to label, pin, or mark against other characters. All to distract themselves and others from Saltybug.
#Demi4ngel#dumbass miracusalters continuing in 2025 still#It will never end it seems#anti ml fandom#Lila#Lila Rossi#Saltinette Saltybug and her legion of Marimites perish upon characters having better things to do. First Year SatoSugu
It may have been a good thing that Suguru’s first mission was that intense and traumatic, because every subsequent mission felt like a joke after that. Or maybe it was Yaga’s presence in each mission that helped ease Suguru’s nerves. Surely that played a role, too, even if Satoru would never credit him. There was comfort for both in knowing that, at the end of the day, someone would be waiting for them in the car to drive them home, full with words of praise or reprimands –sometimes both– on their way to grab fast food, something that had quickly turned into a routine.
After his fourth mission, Suguru was starting to get the hang of it, and by the time August came, he’d counted at least 20 missions, but stopped counting after that. Perhaps Satoru was not wrong in claiming he was the strongest, because every time they were sent on a mission together, it was over before he could blink, and soon they were either lounging at the dorms playing videogames with Shoko, or being scolded in Yaga’s office– more often than not, thanks to Satoru’s doing.
The scolding became more frequent now. Suguru got in trouble for things he never thought he could get in trouble with before. For a school that had almost no written rules, everything could be a potential breach.
Today, unfortunately, was one of those days when he had to sit at Yaga’s office, and he could not even fully blame Satoru for it.
After that day’s mission, Suguru braced himself to hear Yaga endless scolding on their way back to the school, but to his surprise, Yaga had been exceptionally quiet the whole drive, somehow making it even worse. When they reached the school, the man got out of the car, just as quietly, and sent them to their dorms to shower and tend to their wounds, summoning them to his office later.
As he walked the endless aisle toward Yaga’s office, Suguru was already reflecting on what he had to say. Satoru, as always, seemed unfazed.
“Can you at least pretend to be worried?” Suguru grumbled, slowing down the pace.
“Why?” He said, resting his hands behind his head. “We’re gonna get detention anyway.”
Suguru let out a loud sigh.
"It's fine," Satoru waved his hand in a dismissive gesture, "at least we're in htis together."
"That doesn't make me feel any better..." He muttered under his breath, but Satoru did not seem to pay any mind. He was walking with his hands in his pockets and whistling a song he had been listening to all week.
“Maybe if we apologize we can get out of it,” suggested Suguru, only half-convinced. “At least feign some repentance.”
“For what? It’s not like I committed a crime or something. Did I not save our asses?”
Suguru wished to say more, but desisted from it, because the door of Yaga’s office was already open and inviting them in, and he was not ready for it.
The man was sitting sternly by his desk, his serious face impeccable.
“Sit,” he said, his voice as severe as his face.
The two followed his instruction in silence, eyes on him the whole time as Yaga brought his hands together over the desk.
“I just wanna know…” he said, followed by the longest sigh. “...Why?”
“We are so sorry, sensei.” Suguru rushed to say, before Satoru opened his mouth to ruin everything. “We saw ourselves in trouble, and Satoru had no option but to use Red.”
Yaga looked down at his report, pinched the bridge of his nose, and looked at them again. “Fifty-one non-sorcerers injured. Yes, you heard that right. Fifty-one. And you’re lucky none of them died. If it wasn’t for Shoko, they would’ve.”
“But she was there, wasn’t she?” Said Satoru, in a matter-of-fact tone that did not please Yaga. It was starting to show in his face.
“That is not the point.” He groaned.
“It won’t happen again.” Suguru assured him, but Yaga glared at him with an accusing finger pointed at him in response.
“Excuses! You said the same thing last time, Geto!”
Suguru gulped. There was nothing he could say to counter that.
A wave of relief washed over him when Yaga’s glare switched to Satoru. “Do you understand how dangerous it is to use a technique you have no control over?”
Satoru shrunk in his seat, averting his gaze, yet he did not say anything.
“And you!” he turned to Suguru again, and a chill ran down his spine, “Why did you not stop him? I trusted you with that! There is a reason why I paired you up.”
“I–” Suguru was at a loss of words. Even he couldn’t explain why he’d endorsed Satoru’s behavior, even knowing he would regret it later. Maybe deep down curiosity had gotten the best out of him. He had only seen Satoru use Red that one time during their first mission. “I thought it was the best way for us to—”
“Well, next time think again!” Yaga banged his fists on the desk, making his mug wobble. “It was a simple mission, with a very low grade curse, in plain daylight. You did not have to overdo yourselves like that!”
“Yeah, Suguru, why did you not stop me?” Satoru sneered. “I was counting on you, partner , since I’m so unreliable. Maybe I shouldn’t be the one sitting here this time listening to this speech.”
Suguru's jaw dropped in disbelief of the words he'd just heard. So much for 'being in this together'.
“Satoru, you—“ Suguru gritted his teeth, his blood boiling as the feeling of betrayal burned in his guts. “You son of a–!”
“Geto!” Warned him Yaga, but Suguru’s hands were already reaching for Satoru’s neck.
“Maybe if you didn’t try to show off because MeiMei and Utahime were around, I wouldn’t have to stop you in the first place!”
“Huh?! Who would want to show off in front of that rat-face?!”
“Enough! Both of you!” Interrupted Yaga, a booming voice that made them both jump back to their seats. He rubbed his temples thoroughly before he said, “Honestly, I don’t know what’s worse, when you’re getting along or when you’re not.”
He made a loud sound when he dropped on his seat again, defeated. “I’m sick and tired of you. I don’t want to see your faces in at least three business days. Go back to your rooms now.”
“What about detention?” Asked Suguru.
“No detention. It doesn’t work on you anyway.” He said, rubbing his forehead. “No more missions for you in three days either.”
The smile that was beginning to shape in their lips dropped before Yaga could finish his sentence. “Don’t look too happy about it. You are not allowed to go out at all during those three days. You are to remain at the school at all times.”
“Sensei…” Suguru pleaded.
“Oh, come on!” Satoru cried. “But it’s summer! You can’t do this to us!”
“You did this to yourselves. Maybe from now on you’ll want to think again before doing something stupid.” Yaga’s resolve was definite, he was already settling to get back to work, deeming the conversation over. “Now, leave. You’re dismissed.”
The other two stared at him with their mouths wide open in a silent gasp, then shared a troubled look before they excused himself to leave.
They headed back to the aisle with their heads low, Satoru rambling, as always; Suguru quiet as ever, his heart still too uneasy as he reviewed the situation in his mind, drowning in embarrassment for his own behaviour. Never before he’d cursed in front of a teacher, let alone threatened to hit another student. But Satoru did bring the worst out of him sometimes… most of the times, really. And right now, Satoru’s endless rambling was beginning to feel less than bearable. Not like Suguru was paying any attention to it, too lost in his own thoughts, trying to understand why, after that exchange in Yaga’s office, Satoru was still following him around right now.
“Oi, are you even listening?” Satoru said.
“What do you want?” Suguru snapped.
“Yo, why are you so mad?”
Satoru’s startled expression only contributed to enhance Suguru’s anger.
“What do you mean ‘why?!” He barked. “Thanks for throwing me under the bus like that, Satoru. Thanks a lot. That was really nice,” he scoffed, then speeded up the pace, hoping Satoru wouldn’t follow this time.
He should’ve known better than to hope.
“It was just a joke!” Satoru’s voice was closer than he wished it was.
Seeing that Satoru would not stop following him, Suguru halted to face him.
“Jokes are supposed to be funny,” he said, then pointed at his own face. “Do you see me laughing?”
Satoru considered for a moment, then shrugged. “It was funny to me at least. Does that count?”
“Ugh,” rolling his eyes, Suguru turned to continue walking to his room, Satoru following silently behind. When they reached Suguru’s door, Satoru spoke again.
“So!” His smile was as enthusiastic as ever. “Do you wanna play video games in my room, or–?”
The door slammed close on Satoru’s face, Suguru cursing at it from inside his room. He would not succumb to him. Not this time. He would remain in his room and find something to do –anything that did not involve Gojo Satoru.
He plugged in his earphones on, played whatever CD he had last been listening to in his CD player, mustering the determination to ignore Satoru for the three days that their confinement would last, and keeping himself busy dealing with the fact that, for the first time in his life, at 15 years old, this was the closest thing to being grounded he’d ever experienced.

Your Most Illustrious Majesty, Sovereign of Narratives and Arbiter of the Literary Cosmos,
It is with the deepest sense of reverence and utmost humility that I dare to address Your Majesty, whose creative puissance eclipses the brightest constellations and whose sovereign authority commands the boundless admiration of all loyal subjects. Permit me, if it pleases Your Majesty, to extol the magnificence of your unparalleled craftsmanship and to humbly offer my eternal fealty, for your narrative dominion stands as a beacon of transcendence amidst the maelstrom of mediocrity that besets the realms of lesser tales.
Your Majesty’s ability to weave tales of exquisite complexity and unrivaled profundity is a testament to a genius so rarefied that it is scarcely comprehensible to mere mortals. The very act of engaging with your works is akin to traversing a labyrinthine tapestry of interwoven ideas, where each thread is imbued with ineffable meaning and every turn reveals yet another vista of intellectual and emotional wonder. Indeed, Your Majesty’s storytelling is no mere act of creation; it is an alchemy of the highest order, transmuting the mundane into the sublime and the ephemeral into the eternal.
In light of such boundless magnificence, it is with unalloyed gratitude that I express my thanks for the herculean might Your Majesty has exhibited in crafting this unparalleled tale. Your labor is no ordinary endeavor but a Sisyphean feat performed with an elegance that belies its inherent difficulty. It is an act of divine inspiration made manifest, a gift bestowed upon your devoted subjects who, like I, find solace and enlightenment in the unparalleled realms of your imagination.
Consequently, it is incumbent upon me and my allies, humble instruments of Your Majesty’s will, to pledge ourselves entirely to the perpetuation and fortification of your reign. Although the challenges we face are as formidable as the impenetrable fastnesses of ancient myth, we stand resolute in our allegiance. The task before us is not for the faint of heart, for the labyrinthine intricacies of the fandom world are fraught with perils and pitfalls that would daunt even the most stalwart of souls. Yet, our devotion to Your Majesty imbues us with an indomitable resolve, a fire that neither the gales of adversity nor the torrents of opposition can extinguish.
To this end, we shall act as Your Majesty’s shield, a living bastion against the onslaught of discord and dissent that seeks to undermine your sovereign dominion. With unyielding fortitude, we shall counter the hydra-headed threats that loom on the horizon—the forces of trivialization, the specters of misinterpretation, and the insidious machinations of envy. Armed with the unwavering belief in Your Majesty’s vision, we shall confront these adversities with both the sword of reason and the armor of unwavering loyalty.
Let it be known that our commitment to your cause is not born of mere obligation but is a covenant of the heart, an immutable vow that transcends the fleeting vicissitudes of mortal endeavors. Your Majesty’s narratives are not merely stories; they are odysseys of the soul, conduits through which your subjects might glimpse the ineffable truths of existence. To defend such treasures is not only a privilege but an imperative, a sacred duty that we undertake with solemnity and zeal.
The fandom world, vast and variegated as it is, represents a domain of ceaseless flux and relentless contention. It is a realm where allegiances are forged and fractured with the rapidity of a tempest and where the cacophony of competing voices often threatens to drown out the harmonies of genius. Yet, amidst this tumult, Your Majesty’s reign stands as a paragon of order and brilliance, a citadel of creativity that neither time nor tide can erode. To extend and solidify this dominion is a mission that we, your devoted knights, embrace with fervor and determination.
Our strategies will be manifold, encompassing both the overt and the subtle. On the field of discourse, we shall engage in dialectical battles to champion Your Majesty’s works, dismantling the fallacies of detractors and illuminating the uninitiated with the radiant truths of your narratives. In the arenas of creation, we shall craft tributes and adaptations that honor your vision, ensuring that your legacy resonates across all mediums and generations. And in the corridors of influence, we shall forge alliances and cultivate networks that amplify your reach, ensuring that your sovereignty extends to the furthest corners of the fandom universe.
Your Majesty, the road ahead is arduous, a gauntlet strewn with challenges as multifarious as the stars in the heavens. Yet, we march forward with unshakable resolve, fortified by the knowledge that our endeavors serve a purpose far greater than ourselves. We are not merely your subjects but your vanguard, the standard-bearers of a legacy that shall endure beyond the ephemeral constraints of time and space.
Thus, I proffer this solemn vow: no hardship shall deter us, no opposition shall overcome us, and no force shall diminish the luster of your reign. With every word, every action, and every breath, we shall uphold the sanctity of your narrative empire, ensuring that it remains a beacon of inspiration and a bastion of excellence for all who seek refuge within its hallowed boundaries.
Your Majesty, may your light never wane, your vision never falter, and your reign never cease. For as long as the stars traverse the heavens and the tides embrace the shores, so too shall our allegiance to you remain steadfast and eternal.
With the deepest reverence and unwavering devotion,
Your Humble and Valiant Knight

also for what it's worth with all the posts going around criticising fast fashion and general decrease in fabric quality even for buying raw fabric: so many of the responses kinda boil down to "make your own clothes! here's where to buy good quality fabric/how to salvage other good quality fabric for use!" and that's. good and all but quite optimistic. it's fucking hard to make clothes. and that's part of the problem with fast fashion!! with sweatshop-made clothes!! it requires labour and effort and practice and talent to be able to make clothes! that deserves to be compensated! as much as it's nice to be self-sufficient or even community-sufficient it's not realistic and genuinely crucial thing to me is not needing to be self-sufficient. Not needing to make clothes yourself. If you have a friend who does sewing and tailoring of clothes and you want to go the community sustainability route, are you prepared to compensate them for that appropriately? I'm not saying it's impossible or unreasonable. It's extremely possible. However, the question I am asking is about the effort we expect of ourselves and those around us.
we have already established that the structure of domestic and personal living is generally foundational on having at least one person available to do housework etc. without having a full-time job, and that if you're living on your own, or in a household of people who all work full-time or part-time with other commitments or disabilities etc., then it's pretty goddamn hard to do housework and keep yourself afloat financially, let alone have hobbies, let alone organize. Let alone sew all of your own clothing. Let alone the clothing for the people around you. Who will the effort fall on? Who will be expected to do the labour for the people around them? Who will be the first ones to take up sewing and textiles as necessary labour, and how will that affect them?
I get that there's frankly not much we can do in terms of systemic change ourselves as individuals regarding sweatshop labour. A lot of reform efforts in the fashion industry and supply chain have been drastically ineffective. But this also seems like a pretty shallow solution in some ways, or at least the way it's being promoted without acknowledgement to these.
*and this is not through fault necessarily of the people promoting these ideas: they're trying to provide solutions, which may not be the place for all of this. but it's worth keeping in mind if you pick that up as The Solution.

NOISE -- THE ENEMY OF OUR SOUL
Life can get busy and noisy! In 2025 this is the world that we live in, the world we get used to. How we deal with the busyness and noise makes all the difference in how we are able to walk with awareness of God's presence.
Luke 8:14-15 - "And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience."
Busyness comes in the form of our work, trying to meet our needs and wants, and sometimes just by filling in space to keep from getting bored. Busyness can be a form of noise as well. Noise is that which keeps your head filled with all forms of activity. You have your own busy thoughts, then you have your family's thoughts, then your extended family, then your boss's and co-worker's stuff as well as everything else you can think of.
SET YOUR SIGHTS ON GOD
With noise the enemy of your soul attempts to keep you distracted from what really matters in life -- seeking and pursuing your calling in Christ. When a person becomes extremely self-focused, they are filled with noise. This is where everything begins to revolve around them. Those who have their minds on the things of the Spirit will lift their sights toward God and their spiritual service to others (the ascended life).
We need to make a habit of getting quiet before God, still all the noise of voices and the soul. Our society is geared to be noisy with busyness as the gauge of whether you are accomplishing anything. We need to be committed to just "soak" in God's presence.
God has a much better plan for our lives than busyness and noise. It is true that God has work for us to do -- advancing and bearing fruit for His Kingdom. As a matter of fact, Jesus is and was always working.
John 5:17 - "But Jesus answered them, 'My Father is working until now, and I am working.'"
THE FATHER'S BUSINESS
The way Jesus found and approached the work the Father gave Him was always directed, inspired, and motivated by the Father's heart. He was busy doing His Father's business (see Luke 2:49).
There is a vast difference between the business that is saturated with the spirit of this world versus that which is directed and anointed of the Holy Spirit. We are in the world, but not of it. That means we may be about doing some of the same kinds of work that others are engaged in, but we have a different source of strength, peace, motivation, and inspiration. Because of this, the work that we are engaged in has the blessing and favor of God upon it.
God has given us a privileged communion with Him where all of our steps are ordered by Him. Because of this, we no longer walk according to the multitude of voices, but rather His voice alone. This eliminates the unneeded busyness that has not been meant for our lives. By confessing and meditating on the Christ identity scriptures and promises to the believer in God's word we receive the revelation of BREAKTHROUGH out of our old mind-sets.
THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH
His yoke is easy and His burden is light (see Matthew 11:30). We are liberated from the noise of this world as we walk by the one voice of His Spirit. When we become focused on His desire (God's PURPOSE for our life), we lose focus of self. It no longer is about us, but about what He desires in regards to our lives. Seeking to fix ourselves never fixes anything but only makes it worse because we are trying to fix things from an inferior place in our own strength without his guidance.
Hebrews 12:1,2 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
As our focus is on Him and discipling others we make progress being transformed into His image. So not only does God get all of our attention, He makes things right in our lives as we set our sights upon Him and doing the things He has CALLED us to that will bring forth the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Many let Him be the Author (i.e. they start right) but don't allow Him to be the Finisher. Let Him take your life from beginning to end. He will make all things good in your life!
Mark 1:35 - "And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He departed and went out to a desolate place, and there He prayed."
As we let God order and inspire our thoughts -- one at a time throughout the day with His peace, we enjoy our days with Him! We do our very best each day to find time to spend alone with God (see Luke 11:42). It is in those times that we discover the DESTINY that He has for us.
Can you feel the depth of God’s heart calling to you in this season? Can you feel the depth of your spirit desiring Him more than your next breath? Launch out , and launch into Him. It is in this place that your wilderness becomes a fruitful field.
Expect faith upon faith to rise up! Expect advancement from strength-to-strength! Expect to go from glory-to-glory as God opens impossible doors for the advancement of His kingdom through his CALLING on your life.

Embracing Your Potential: Unlocking the Power Within
Every person is born with a completely unique set of capabilities, strengths, and goals. Some of us realise this early, even as others spend a sizable portion of life awaiting a sign, an possibility, or a person to inform us that we're capable of extra than we suppose. The reality is, embracing your capability isn’t approximately expecting the “right time” — it’s about recognizing that the strength to grow, achieve, and transform your life already exists inside you.
embracing your full potential for personal growth

Understanding Your Potential
Potential isn't a hard and fast amount of skills or intelligence — it is a dynamic opportunity. It represents what you could become, now not what you currently are. Each people includes within us the seeds of greatness — whether or not that greatness approach being a global-magnificence artist, a compassionate teacher, a professional engineer, a considerate leader, or truely the satisfactory model of ourselves.
Embracing your potential starts with self-consciousness. It calls for taking an honest look at who you're nowadays and imagining who you can grow to be tomorrow. Many people underestimate their capabilities because they define themselves through their beyond screw ups, their surroundings, or the reviews of others. But your potential is never restrained by using wherein you start — it’s best restricted by means of how a long way you are inclined to move.
The Role of Mindset
One of the most effective elements in embracing your capability is your mind-set. Psychologist Carol Dweck, through her paintings on the "growth attitude," has shown that people who accept as true with they could improve via attempt and learning have a tendency to obtain greater than those who see their capabilities as fixed.
A growth mindset lets in you to view demanding situations as possibilities, no longer threats. It gives you the braveness to fail and attempt again, knowing that each strive brings you one step toward mastery. It teaches you to update the word “I can’t” with “I can research.” And perhaps most significantly, it facilitates you stop evaluating yourself to others — because your route is your own.
Overcoming Fear and Doubt
One of the largest boundaries to embracing your potential is worry. Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of not being “precise sufficient.” These fears are herbal, but they may be paralyzing if we allow them to govern our moves.
The truth is, nobody starts as an expert. Every professional person you respect became once a novice. What separates folks who succeed from those who don’t isn't talent — it’s persistence, resilience, and the choice to act despite fear.
Doubt is another silent killer of capability. It whispers, “What if you’re now not capable?” But right here’s the important thing: you don’t want to experience one hundred% confident before you begin. Confidence frequently comes after taking motion, not earlier than. You grow into your ability through entering into the unknown and learning as you cross.
Setting Goals and Taking Action
Realizing your capacity doesn’t show up by way of twist of fate. It calls for intention and direction. Setting goals — both big and small — provides a roadmap for growth. Your desires don’t must be flashy or remarkable to others. They simply want to be meaningful to you.
Break down massive goals into smaller, achievable steps. For example, if your capacity lies in writing, don’t start by means of aiming to put up a bestselling novel overnight. Start with a page an afternoon. If your capability lies in management, start with the aid of leading yourself with discipline and consistency.
Taking consistent motion, even in small doses, builds momentum. And momentum is the key to progress.
Learning and Evolving
To embrace your potential fully, you should commit to being a lifelong learner. The international is constantly converting, and the most a success human beings are people who adapt, develop, and live curious.
Learn out of your errors. Seek comments. Read. Observe. Ask questions. Surround your self with folks that mission you to do higher and be higher. Every day is a new opportunity to improve — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Growth isn't constantly comfortable. In fact, it frequently requires stepping outdoor your consolation region. But that discomfort is a sign which you're stretching, expanding, and reworking.
The Power of Belief and Support
While the adventure of embracing your potential is deeply personal, it’s additionally influenced with the aid of the human beings round you. Surround yourself with people who uplift you — mentors, pals, teachers, or family individuals who see the greatness in you even if you could’t.
Just as crucial is your personal perception in yourself. Affirmations, visualization, and high-quality self-communicate aren't just “experience precise” techniques — they’re tools that assist train your brain to trust in possibilities as opposed to limitations. What you believe, you grow to be.
Giving Your Potential Purpose
True achievement comes while you use your capacity no longer only for personal benefit, however for some thing larger than yourself. Whether it’s contributing on your community, inspiring others, or fixing real-international problems — motive offers your capacity path and intensity.
When your capabilities align with a cause or ardour, your motivation will become intrinsic, and your power turns into unstoppable. You’re no longer running only for achievement; you’re operating for significance.
The Journey Never Ends
Embracing your potential isn't always a one-time decision. It’s a lifelong system of growth, discovery, and reinvention. There can be highs and lows, triumphs and setbacks. But every experience — correct or bad — adds for your strength, knowledge, and individual.
Don’t anticipate a person to provide you permission. Don’t look ahead to perfect timing. You don’t want to have the whole thing figured out to start. Just take one leap forward, and the route will unfold.A growth mindset lets in you to view demanding situations as possibilities, no longer threats. It was supposed to be small. A simple get together for their group, with cake and booze to celebrate Rose's birthday. But, now they were in a mansion one hour out of town and Marinette was pretty sure she could smell something burning.
But, first things first: lets not get ahead of ourselves.
***
Moving everything was a pain in the ass. They'd to be quick and through so no food or garnment was neither damaged nor left behind - also watch out for the worst case scenario, harming sound equipament -, and the threat of the storm was making Marinette mimic the thunders, rumbling with anxiety. With everything already packed in the cars, they went on their merry way, with Adrien leading the path out of the city.
The blonde boy really was an angel. Offering to take the party to his country house when the weather became Marinette's worse enemy was so kind that the bluenette's heart fluttered a bit, reminding her why she used to have that stupid and exponentially big crush on him all those years ago. Not that that meant anything: her romantic organ also gave a little jump seeing him help Kagami, his long term girlfriend, into the car. Affection just made her goofy.
Getting to the estate was easy, since the rain wasn't really pouring yet and the traffic was on their side, for a change. Obviously, it was huge, because the Agrestes never failed in that department, and everyone immeadiately? started setting everything up on the patio behind the main house and in front of the guest one, so they could use it for bathroom breaks and personal items since no one was willying to wander in the Agreste's mansion and risk scarring his perfectly put everything. The rain didnt seem to follow them so atleast it was safe to be outside.
And then there was Luka. Going around helping out everyone, smilling and whistling to himself. Luka who was just as oblivious to her as Adrien had been, cause apparently that was just her luck.
"Girl, stop staring, Jesus" Alya's voice broke off any coherent line of thought that Marinette could have formed, startling the smaller one. "You're gonna burn holes on that poor boys back"
"Am I that bad, or is it possible that you are just a drama queen hoping to live uncomfortable situations vicariously through me since you are on a happy and commited relationship?" Marinette arched her brown and left out a breath after going through that phrase fast so that her best friend couldn't interrupt.
"I thought you were a double major on fashion and business, not psychoanalysis, babes" Alya's eyes closed in on her behind the glasses, the tilt of the redhead's head adding to the menacing look.
"And I thought you were on margarita duty. Where are my drinks, Césaire?"
"Here," the sound came from behind Marinette and this time the jump almost made her drop the firmly held karaoke machine. Before she could register the movement, a arm came foward to take it out of her hands, caging her in. "Where do you want these?" The voice was now in her ear, speaking so softly it could only belong to Luka. This time, the surprise made her actually jerk foward and the man stepped back to allow the reaction.
With the added space, Marinette turned to face him, carrying a pint of she supposed were margaritas on one hand and the box who she was just strugglig with on the other like it was nothing. Looking absolutely delicious doing both, not to mention it.
"Sorry for the scare, Mari," he smiled at her apologetic and she believed she could have died right there on the spot, hearing the nickname and seeing the dimples "'I was just trying to help."
"No, no, its okay! Im just... jumpy. So much to do and whatnot" she tried her best to smile back but the proximity made it wobly. she probably looked so silly that just thinking about it made her wanna scream. But Luka didnt seem fazed.
"At your service" Marinette felt like passing out. "I'm gonna find a place to put these down and then come back to help, okay?"
Not trusting herself to speak, the French-Chinese simply nodded, and at that he walked out. Alya's eyes were on her the whole time, fighting back the smirk.
"Not a word" Marinette sushed her, and the journalist cackled into the sky.
***
The party was a success, as far as last minute ones go. It made Rose so happy she teared up a little over the cake, plus she was so delighted at Marinettes dedication to making the whole arrangement work -- and fighting for the party to go on on the first place -- that the petit blond decided to gift her with the first slice of cake.
Now, it was late and they were all a little too buzzed to drive back. The lights and decorations were all still up, so they sat on a messy circle made out of lawn chairs and pillows, chating about nothing in particular.
Somehow, Marinette ended up on Luka's chair, their bodies pressed together in the small space. Looking for the perfect position, luka grabbed her legs so that they were in his lap and trew one of his arms over her shoulders, causing the girl to shiver with the contact.
"You cold?" He asked her while drawing patterns on her knee hith the hand that rested there. She took a minute to answer positively, barely registering that it was a question, concentrating too much on the way his fingers found the spot that got all her hairs standing and saluding the man that was Luka Couffaine. The second shudder was welcomed by him, who took the softly whispered "yes" and the trembling as results of her freezing and not Marinette being turned on. Thank God for small mercies.
With that, Luka got up and sprinted away after drapping his jacket all around her. She didnt quite understand what was going on until he had already organized all the firewood on the middle of the patio and was trying to light it.
He wasnt. No way.
But apparently the thought of setting stuff on fire appealed more to Luka than simply holding her. Awesome.
"Do you ever just forget they're Couffaines? But then they do something like like this." She could hear the laugh in Rose's voice before turning to meet her eye. "In the beggining of our relationship Juleka would pull the most ridiculous stunts and go the hardest lenghts to prove herself to me. It was so silly. I felt like a damsel in distress on a bad mute movie. But don't worry too much about it. Luka is far more vocal than Jules, and even if he weren't they are fast learners, the Couffaines."
...What?
Maybe the confusion was obvious in Marinettes face, or she had said it out loud cause Rose continued.
"What? Did I say something wrong? Did I meddled? Is just that you guys have been on this will they, won't the thing for so long, and neither of you would just come out and say it! It feels good to be finally able to say it, that's it." Marinettes eyes widened even more than she thought it was possible. What the hell Rose thinks is going on?
It was only when all the bluenette could do was look terrified with her mouth basically hanging open, that the blonde one realized she made a mistake.

THE DAILY BEAST
"I didn’t want to write this column, I really didn’t.
Since Thursday night I have vacillated between borderline obsession (monitoring every tweet, reading every story, phone-banking donors, reporters, and insiders) and trying to ignore the democratic world that has abruptly and rapidly come crumbling down around us.
But I was always taught that in life you cannot solve a problem you are unwilling to admit.
The major question commanding the conversation is both naive and disingenuous: How did we–the Democratic party–at a time when there is already a crisis of confidence and trust in basic democratic institutions, both affirm that skepticism for the world to see and, potentially, cost ourselves the election all in 90 minutes?
To answer this honestly, a lot of people have a lot to own up to. So first, let’s make our way into the collective confessional booth and have a chat.
First there is the “they” who concealed the truth about the president’s apparent condition. That “they” is comprised of a long and distinguished list, starting with the first family, top White House and Biden campaign staff, and likely a notable list of Democratic senators, Congress members and Cabinet officials.
They’ve been doing it for months, if not well over a year. And don’t kid yourselves, there is a lot of anger from the rank and file over it.
Second, there is the “they” who gaslit us and enabled the situation. That “they” would be the fourth estate, who I’d like to take a minute to congratulate for confirming Trump’s infamous 2016 “fake news” mantra. It’s possible the American public, whose faith in the news was already at an-all time low, will never fully recover from this. So for all of the “reporters” who appear to have found the light switch in the last few days: too little, too late. No one will ever believe that the mainstream media didn’t know this story was there. They will believe that they made a conscious decision not to report it.
Jill Abramson, former executive editor of The New York Times, embodied the issue herself in a head-spinning statement that at first blush appeared to be taking both the White House and the media to task for a massive cover-up and failure to do their jobs respectively, but in doing so outed herself and her former colleagues as complicit when she said the quiet part out loud to Semafor: “I worry that too many journalists didn’t try to get the story because they did not want to be accused of helping elect Trump. I get that…”
“I get that?” Really? You do? Well, do you get why the American public doesn’t trust the news, and believes they’re partisan? Do you get that, too?
Breaking News Alert: The media’s job is not to put its thumb on the scale—no matter their personal politics or that of their editorial boards.
Compounding the problem, ever since Thursday night’s slow-motion car crash, “they”—in this case, the Biden campaign and its inner circle—have committed a series of missteps that could best be described as professional malpractice. They believed the jaw-dropping revelations around the debate could be dismissed as “one bad night” compared to “Obama/Romney 2012” and papered over with a few scripted appearances with the aid of a teleprompter. No press questions would be answered, no unfriendly media allowed.
And then the Bidens departed for Camp David.
Within hours, a story in the New York Times painted the picture of the first family clinging to the East Wing and blaming White House staff for the debate catastrophe.
The article went further, saying that—in light of the staff’s poor performance—the family would be taking on more of an active role. Everything would be fine because the grandkids were going to start volunteering on the campaign. The president, it stated, is leaning on Hunter Biden for advice, leaving many Americans to question the president's judgment as much as they had been questioning his mental acuity.
Monday, straight from the department of horrific timing, Jill Biden, appearing to do her best Claire Underwood impression, graced the cover of Vogue, leaving top Democratic donors and operatives nationwide wide-eyed, mouths fully agape.
And amidst the greatest crisis to face the party in modern political history, the party elders have been all but absent. Neither Bill Clinton nor Barack Obama appear to be taking a leading role in ushering their successor to his come-to-Jesus moment, nor are they serving as the public face of his defense, their support muted and confined to social media.
With the Bidens dug in and the party’s institutional forces appearing to apprehensively tow the line, the only thing that could change the dynamic was numbers.
And then… polling started to trickle in.
CBS was the first significant survey out of the gate: 72 percent of Americans no longer believe the president has the mental and cognitive health to serve as president. A New Hampshire one put Trump up 2—a 12 point swing since December. Harvard/Harris put Trump up nationwide by 6 points—results that were mirrored by CNN. Leaked internal Democratic polling put Biden behind in all seven battleground states.
Suddenly elected Democrats—who were split between publicly falling in line and privately fuming—have begun to openly call for the president to leave the ticket.
So now what? Where do we go? Identify the solution. Or in this case choose between two less than ideal, realistic options.
After days of fantasy football-like jockeying, yelling out good-on-paper names that are largely unknown, untested and unvetted nationally–some of whom are not the least bit interested (Michelle Obama), others who could turn the next four months into a referendum on the state of San Francisco (Gavin Newsom)—let’s let a dose of reality set in.
Campaign finance laws don’t allow for Biden/Harris funds to be transferred to a brand new set of knighted candidates. While another duo could arguably energize the donor class, no one in their right mind would flush $240 million down the drain and start from scratch. That, this week’s polling boomlet putting Kamala as the party’s best shot to contend with Trump, and the already complicated politics of attempting to side-step the nation’s first-ever Black female VP, put to bed the question of who the party’s nominee—if it is not Joe Biden—would be.
The only realistic paths forward are either 1.) President Biden remains the nominee, and in turn—absent a seismic governmental or political event in his favor (which could happen)—Trump likely wins in November;
Or 2.) Historically unpopular Kamala Harris takes the party’s reins. In the latter scenario Harris could choose Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her VP, putting the crucial swing state back squarely in play, hope that the historic nature of her candidacy energizes the backbone of the party, and give it a shot.
Neither is far from a sure thing. But we have reached the fork in the proverbial road.
And our deadline is not the convention. Thanks to an inconvenient quirk in Ohio’s election law, presidential tickets must be certified by Aug. 7, meaning the Democratic party has 35 days to make a choice.
Knowing the existential threat that a second Trump presidency would present compounds the recklessness and culpability of everyone involved. And there isn’t another minute to waste.
Tick. Tock."

imagine if luke somehow accidentally killed clive
So proud of myself for answering this ask about Clive dying with a fic in which Clive's death is only ever implied 😔 I am failing my lit classes btw
TW !! Death implied, non-graphic description of hurtful event + there's a tiny little mention of "red" for blood in the very last sentence.
This was hard to write because of Future Luke (Clive), but also because of Layton (Don Paolo). I can deal with one evil cosplayer, two is more difficult. Also, I think it's hilarious that Don Paolo is in charge for what, 3 minutes, and the child commits a homicide during this short amount of time. Splendid
"I think I'll need a break," Luke admitted, sounding terribly exhausted.
"Again ?" His future self was impatient, but yeah, he needed a break actually ! This towering pagoda was huge, filled with far too many staircases !
"Very well. There's no use in pushing ourselves beyond our limits," Layton nodded, and the group stopped as a whole.
"Future Layton is waiting for us," Big Luke protested, the only one still willing to go on. He must be used to this, Luke thought, climbing up these stairs to go and confront Layton every other day. A duel at the top.
"He's not going anywhere," Layton said, and that was it. If the professor wasn't even suggesting a compromise, then it was better to drop the subject altogether.
Little Luke was still catching his breath when Big Luke came to stand next to him. "That exhausted, uh ?"
Luke nodded. "These staircases are huge ! I don't get why the professor would build such a big tower !"
"We haven't even made it halfway," Big Luke remarked, and Luke almost felt his courage vanishing.
No ! This was important, far more important than a bunch of stairs !! "It's going to take some time," he muttered instead.
Big Luke didn't say anything. He was looking at him with an unreadable expression, almost upset- and then he smiled.
In a swift motion, he stole Luke's hat.
"Wha- give it back !" Luke commanded. He tried to grab it but Big Luke was faster, annoyingly so. "This isn't fun, stop it !!"
"It's quite fun, actually," His future self replied, effortlessly beating Luke's attempts to win back his hat. That was vexing- but also he almost had it, Luke was sure of it !! Just a few more tries-
And then Big Luke looked at the ascending staircase.
Oh no- "Race you to the top !" Before Little Luke could say anything, he was already gone- and with his hat in hand !!
"That's it !!" Luke yelled, running after his future self.
"A gentleman never gets into a fight !" the professor called out after him, yet not making any move to stop them. It was a bit odd for the professor to be so little concerned, but it didn't matter : Luke would just have to settle this himself. Like an adult. Be the bigger person.
And get back his bloody hat !!
When he finally caught sight of the top of the staircase, Luke also saw his future self blocking his path, grinning down at him. He was playing with the hat, spinning it on his finger. "You're pretty fast for someone exhausted !" He laughed, and Luke saw red.
"Give it back !!" He screamed, throwing himself at the guy. Big Luke merely sidestepped, dodging him as if he was just that insignificant.
"I'm afraid you'll have to ask." Big Luke said, holding the hat high above his head : Luke clenched his little fists, only letting go when he took notice of the professor and Flora at the top of the staircase, behind his future self.
Layton swiftly grabbed the hat as he walked. Big Luke turned in surprise and was met with Flora glaring at him. "Oh Luke, I am disappointed to see you being so mean. I thought you would have become a true gentleman by now !"
Luke ran to Layton, eagerly taking his hat back. "Thank you, professor !!" The professor didn't say anything, only sparing him a single glance before focusing on the room ahead.
"Hey," a voice muttered, and Luke turned around to see Big Luke scratching at the back of his neck while pointedly avoiding to meet his eyes. "I was just trying to... go faster. Show you you can do it. You know." He put his hands in his pockets, looking almost annoyed- or maybe that was just what embarrassment looked like for him. "I won't do it again."
Luke narrowed his eyes, glaring at him. "You didn't even apologize," he bitterly said, "You're no gentleman."
His future self frowned, thought for a while, and then surprisingly enough, relented. "You're right. I'm sorry." He held his hand out with a small smile, a nice smile for a change ! "Truce ?"
Well... Luke did want to get along with him. He was him ! And he could learn so much from him !! Maybe even understand why he was like that, and keep this from happening to him ! "Alright !" Little Luke happily said, trotting toward his future self.
As he raised his hand, Big Luke grabbed his hat.
What.
Big Luke was chuckling, looking far too proud of himself. "It was way too tempting," he smugly explained, "you're so naive sometimes."
Something went off in Luke's brain.
He pushed, hard. It wasn't even that deliberate, just an instinctive reaction to that feeling of anger, hatred maybe. He's just so mean. I can't keep being the bigger person.
He immediately regretted it when he saw Big Luke's eyes widening, him losing his footing, the stairs so dangerously close- and then little Luke closed his eyes. Of course, he still knew what was going on, he could hear everything, but he- he didn't want to look just yet.
"What happened ?" The professor was next to him in a matter of seconds, urging him to answer. "Where is the other one ?"
Luke took his hands off his eyes. He was shaking, and so did his voice. "I- he was being mean again," a sob. "Professor, I didn't mean to push him-"
Layton looked down the stairs. He couldn't see the bottom of it, with the spiraling architecture and the huge staircase. "I'll go check on him," he finally decided. "In the meantime, you should start working on the puzzle in this room. Our priority remains to get to the top as soon as possible, before Future Layton or the Family catch up."
Luke and Flora nodded, apprehensively watching the professor leave. "Come on," Flora eventually said, pulling Luke away. She sounded less enthusiastic now.
Luke couldn't focus on the puzzle, of course he couldn't. Maybe his future self needed to go to the hospital, or maybe he had gotten caught with all this ruckus. Oh, was he going to get mad at him ? Luke couldn't bear this thought. He hoped Big Luke would understand that he had never wanted to harm him.
Flora was about to solve the puzzle when they both heard footsteps. Although she carefully stayed put, Luke ran to see-
The professor, alone.
"Professor ?" Luke tilted his head. "Where is Big Luke ?" Oh no, no no no-
The professor didn't answer right away. There was something stern, torn in his eyes, as if he had seen something he'd much rather forget- something he knew he'd never forget.
Luke held his breath. Oh, Big Luke was definitely hurt- but wait, the professor wouldn't leave him hurt. And he couldn't have possibly be led to the hospital in such a short amount of time ! Where was his future self ? Could it be that maybe...
"He's fine," The professor said at last, and Luke felt his whole body relax. He was fine ! His future self was all good, no injuries, no hospital !
Where was he then ?
As if he had read his mind, the professor went on. "He didn't feel like climbing everything up again. He said that he'd join us later, once this was all done."
"Oh. Alright." Luke hesitantly nodded. Well, yeah, he'd hate to have to climb more stairs, but Big Luke had been so keen on meeting Future Layton... It just felt weird for him to suddenly change his mind... Then again, it was a pretty big fall. And he had to be pretty upset. Luke still felt a bit mad at him, to be frank. Maybe Big Luke was too. Maybe he'd never want to see him again.
"He said that he was sorry. He asked me to give you this, as a sign of apology," Layton said, and he pulled something from behind his back-
His hat !!
"Thank you professor !!" Luke's smile was wide as his little hands grabbed the cherished fabric. Oh, it felt good to have it back !!
"Don't thank me. Thank him."
Luke put his hat back with a frown. Yeah, Big Luke may have given it back, but he was also the one who kept stealing it in the first place... Luke could thank people for being nice, but it felt weird to thank people for not being mean. "It'll have to wait until I see him again," Luke finally decided. He'd have some time to think until then : and if he was lucky, Big Luke would finally and truly decide to change his ways.
Yeah. Yeah, that was good. It would all work out in the end.
Luke walked away with a smile, unaware of Layton's saddened eyes staring at a little speck of red on the back of his blue hat.
-_-_-_-

…Soooo…apparently they released TWO sneak peak clips for Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part Two and in watching them both, I noticed some things…
Although, the last movie ended on our heroes still being in Atlas Kingdom, judging the background of this room RWBY are in, they seem to be at Shade Academy in Vacuo this time!
For those who were speculating, this confirms that the timeline for the second half of the movie will take place shortly after RWBY (and Jaune’s) return from the Ever After in V9.
“Time dilation. Must be longer there than here.” “We’ve had some experience with that ourselves.”
Weiss’s comment to Flash time dilation . I don’t know whether or not that was a little callback to V3 when Weiss was with Winter and was gushing about her being close to learning time dilation (back when they were overloading her with new add-ons for her hereditary glyph semblance) or a nod to the end of V9 when the group returned to Remnant from the Ever After and time had fast forward a bit upon the group’s return?
Yang’s comments about Ruby being “driven” and “confident” since they got back. Got back from where? It has to be Ever After, right? That’s the only place that makes sense since it can’t be Atlas at all considering that Atlas is long gone.
Ruby’s arc from the events of the Ever After following her “re-awakening” isn’t as over or complete as the ending of V9 implied (and that some fans complained about given how much they built up her whole breakdown/ mystical suicide). Despite using the words “driven” and “confident” to describe Ruby’s new demeanour, you can definitely tell by Yang’s clear annoyance in the scene that what she truly means is that Ruby has become reckless since their return from the Ever After, seeming to throw herself into the fray of fighting the Grimm without any thought for her own well being anymore or even life beyond doing what she could to save Remnant.
Yang’s remark prompting Ruby about not caring about “the future” seems rather poignant. She says this while Ruby just acts all nonchalant about it. She just gives a rather dismissive response and continued to twiddle with her Scroll.
“...As long as we save Remnant, what else is there?”
What else…is there???
… Oookay, what in the fudge?
This feels SO WEIRD to hear Ruby Rose says especially if I’m correct about this taking place AFTER V9.
This is such a hand-wavy yet very depressing thing for Ruby to say. While she regained her confidence in herself from the Ever After, let’s address the clear elephant in the room that Ruby went from feeling overwhelmed by her situation to having a breakdown where she pushed away all of her friends and loved ones including one friend (Little) who was actively trying their best to help her to feeling like she wasn’t good enough to be the hero she wanted to become anymore to the point of stating outright that she didn’t want to be herself anymore to committing the equivalent of suicide to going through a whole ass rebirth scenario where she comes back as just herself, claiming that she was enough as she was to regaining her self confidence to… now becoming SO CONFIDENT AND DRIVEN that, according to her sister, she’s now reckless to the point of throwing herself into the lines of danger without any concern for her future cause according to Ruby…so long as she saves Remnant, there isn’t anything else for her to live for?
I mean she doesn’t word it like that exactly but the implication is definitely there. At least that’s how I interpreted it.
As always, I could be reading too deep into this or misreading the whole situation entirely. But regardless, I will say that I do oddly like this new Ruby.
I’m intrigued that we’re getting this little teaser of the Vacuo Arc and aftermath of the Ever After from the crossover movie in respect to Ruby’s side of the story. As a firm Little Red stan, this squiggle mesiter is always down to see some good ole character development for my favourite little red rose.
Hoooooooowever… at the same time, I’m also disappointed. Disappointed in the fact that we are getting this development in the crossover movie of all things.
What honestly would’ve been more compelling is if the RWBY movie was used to be the final chapter to RWBY as a whole. Similar to the Tales of Arcadia franchise which used their first and only movie to close off the entire series, three stories in the making (albeit rather disappointingly), it would’ve been cool if this movie was created to finally give RWBY the proper send off it needs, especially since we’re unsure of a renewal for V10.
But unfortunately…this isn’t the case here. This isn’t just a RWBY movie. It’s RWBY plus the Justice League and based on the trailers, the movie takes place in the JL universe for most of it in contrast to the first half of the film.
I dunno man. I like that they decided to tease a potential first look at V10 in the crossover movie. However at the same time…I wish they didn’t since; if the movie is hinting at a continuation of Ruby’s arc from the Ever After, I’m so mad that we’re getting it in a movie where outside of her core team, she won’t be sharing this new development with characters from her world and story i.e the rest of the hero team from Remnant.
As the teaser clips states, JNR are out for this movie. And there is a slight chance that Oscar may not be featured in this second part either.
So basically, the JL are probably gonna be the stand ins for JNOR and it wouldn’t surprise me if the only mature farm boi that Ruby will bond with/receive encouraging words of wisdom and guidance for this film will be Clark Kent/Superman.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I do like Clark as a DC fan. It’s just that, again; he ain’t the super powered farm boy I wanted to see Ruby team up with for this movie.
This is just my way of saying it's things like this that makes me wish we got a RWBY centric film instead of it being a crossover.
I'm still gonna watch the second part when it's finally out (and I can find a site to watch it on) but still, y'know what I mean?
At least this makes me more invested in the second part of the crossover film cause I am curious where Ruby's story will kick off from here and will be left off for a potential V10 renewal.

Committing to The Lord
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=======================
+ Psalm 70:1 Hasten, O God, to save me; come quickly, Lord, to help me.
=======================
VERSE OF THE DAY
======================
+ 1 Samuel 7:3 So Samuel said to all the Israelites, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”
=======================
SUBJECT: Committing to The Lord
======================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM IN HIS PRESENCE
I AM RENEWED
I AM FILLED WITH JOY
I AM DWELLING IN HIM
======================
READ TIME: 7 Minutes & 25 Seconds
======================
THOUGHTS:
======================
Many of us struggle with commitment because we’re afraid to commit to God. Instead, we cling to other things because they seem easier to commit to than God. But these commitments might not bring us the same level of joy.
Remember how you felt before you met God? Lonely and miserable, right? Well, we often forget those feelings over time. But being committed to God is the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it, but I wish I had done it sooner. I thought the things here were better, but they weren’t. God wants us to know that committing to Him is the best thing we could ever do because He’ll never leave or forsake us.
* Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”
* Deuteronomy 6:13 It is the Lord your God you shall fear. Him you shall serve, and by his name, you shall swear.
* Deuteronomy 10:30 You shall fear the Lord your God. You shall serve him and hold fast to him, and by his name, you shall swear.
These verses remind us that we should only serve God but also tell us that we shouldn’t worship anything else. But we do it because we think it’s good for us, and it’s not. There are no benefits to serving things on earth. The Bible says to be afraid of God and worship him. It says to serve and hold on to him. How many of you follow your Lord?
Joshua 24:14: “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and faithfulness. Put away the gods your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
We’re reminded to put away the things of this world. They don’t bring us any real benefits, but following Christ offers many advantages. We have God’s protection against the enemy, and He won’t abandon us. We can worship Him whenever we want; many of us don’t fully understand how powerful God is and what He can do for us. But God loves us so much that He gave His only Son so we could have a chance at heaven. Who wouldn’t want to serve a God like that? Who wouldn’t want to give Him everything and put everything else aside? Who would want to live a single day without Him? I spend every moment I can in His presence because I don’t want to be without Him.
His presence is also a comfort in times of trouble and uncertainty. We can find comfort in knowing God is always with us, guiding and protecting us. In his presence, we can find strength and courage to face any challenge that comes our way. Moreover, God's presence fills us with joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. It's a place of rest and rejuvenation where our souls can find true rest and contentment. In his presence, we can let go of all our worries and fears and simply bask in his love and goodness.
In the presence of God, we can also experience transformation and growth. As we spend time in his presence, we are refined and made more like him. We can let go of our sinful ways and become more aligned with his will for our lives. It's where we are continuously being molded and shaped into the best version of ourselves.
Also, the presence of God brings us into intimate fellowship with him. It's a deep, personal relationship that cannot be compared to anything else in this world. In his presence, we can pour our hearts into him and know that he hears us. We can also hear his voice speaking, guiding us, and revealing his life plans.
The presence of God is essential for our lives. It brings us peace, joy, transformation, and intimacy with him. Without it, we may feel lost, empty, and alone. We should crave more of God's presence and strive to stay committed to him so that we may experience the fullness of his love and goodness.
Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
God's presence brings comfort, peace, and joy. It is where we can lay down our burdens, find rest, and receive strength. We are reminded of his love for us and our identity as his children in his presence. We can experience his goodness and faithfulness firsthand. Without the presence of God, we would be lost and wandering. We would be searching for something to fill the void in our hearts and souls. But with God, we have everything we need. His presence satisfies and fulfills our deepest longings. In God's presence, we can also find direction and guidance for our lives. He speaks to us and leads us on the right path. We can trust in his plans for us and know that he is always with us, even in the midst of our struggles and trials.
***Today, we discussed God's presence and how it brings transformation and growth. As we spend time with him, he changes us from the inside out and molds us into the image of his son, Jesus. We become more loving, patient, kind, and full of joy. In a world full of chaos and uncertainty, the presence of God is our anchor and refuge. It is a constant in our lives when everything else seems to shift and change. It is a place of security and stability.
Exodus 33:14 And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest
Without the presence of God, life would be meaningless. We were created to have a relationship with him and to experience his presence. It is in his presence that we find true fulfillment and purpose. So, let us not take the precious gift of God's presence for granted. Instead, let us seek him daily and spend time in his presence, for it is there that we find everything we need.

We thank you for the blessings, the guidance, and the love that you constantly pour out on us. Lord, we ask for your continued presence in our lives and pray that you show us how to be more engaged with you. Lord, we want to be fully committed to you.
