And you can get access to all kinds of apps through your library! Many of the options I’ve seen are for TV and movies (Kanopy), magazines (RBDigital or Flipster), CreativeBug for learning crafts, access to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda, great for professional development), and good language learning apps (like Mango), just to name a few!

Ok, I've seen this sentiment before, but the amount of Kindle Unlimited ads I've been seeing is forcing me to repeat it-

Kindle Unlimited is offering two free months of unlimited ebooks. As a trial. Which will then become a paid subscription.

Your local library is offering unlimited ebooks all the time. Forever. No contracts, no predatory practices, no tracking of how long you spend on each particular page in the hopes that information about your habits can be sold for a profit.

Use your library. They want so badly to give you all of the things for free.

AABRIA MY BELOVED!!!

we actually did not know what this event was going to be beforehand, it seemed like it was going to be a panel or a lecture lol, but it turned out to be aabria DMing a one-shot with four players from the local board game cafe! it was SO wild and amazing to get to see the magic of aabria iyengar live and in person!!! she also did a short rundown of advice and stuff before the game, and she got really excited when she asked who in the audience was a DM and a large majority of people raised their hands lmao 🥹💖

also she forgot her dice 😛 she borrowed a set from someone in the front row and when her baddies kept rolling badly, she threw the d20 so it rolled off the stage back to them lmao. and she had to do that twice 💀

she hung out LONG after the event ended to meet a bunch of us and she was so kind and friendly!!! she took the time to connect with each and every person, having conversations and doing full-on debriefs of people's campaigns. i waited for so long i thought they were going to kick us out lol. but i did get to meet her and take a pic together!! there was SO many things i wanted to talk about but i just mentioned tumblr and mismag2. she laughed about killing brennan and said that she cornered him after filming episode 2 to talk about it while he was eating a bagel lmao

it was so much fun and truly a magical time!! ✨

sometimes I finish a book and none of the books i have at home are ones I want to read next so I go out to a bookstore and buy another book but during the time I spend wandering the bookstore struggling to pick out my next book I'm thinking back on the books I already own and still have yet to read and by the time I buy a book and leave I've decided my next read is just going to be a book I already had. but hey I still have a new book.
