The thing with Phillip is not only that you fight him the first time, then you fight him a second time, then he has a SECOND PHASE that second time, then he comes back and you fight him again as a distortion, then you fight him a fourth time as a member of the Reverberation Ensemble, then you fight him a FIFTH time for the final clash against the Reverberation Ensemble making a total of five receptions and six acts that include him, which is a lot given how the rest of the characters are fought once and RARELY just twice. No, no, it's not only that.

What makes him also special AND makes him feel specially persistent and annoying is that when you fight him as a distortion he has SEVEN phases that are a repetition of the same two. So it feels like you beat the same dual boss more than three times.

THE FACT THAT HE JUST KEEPS SHOWING AFTER THAT POINT JUST MAKES THE WHOLE THING FUNNIER THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY OF GETTING RID OF HIM.
