Random thought: A big part of gcest is what a debacle would it be if someone finds out about their relationship. And we all know the deal: hiding, Liam always wants more, Noel has him on a leash but breaks his own rules whenever he wants... And all the scares when someone almost finds out. But I need more fics when their relationship accidentally gets made public!! And I don't mean the on stage groping or the questionable things both have said in interviews, no. I mean actual gut wrenching evidence that can't be denied. Almost like that one fic of a video getting leaked after years of them snogging. But even worse, something that even Noel's evil mind can't come up with an excuse for.

I need to see them suffer!! Because the press has written fucked up things about them and also collectively looked over some of their most questionable actions. But something this big??? Their families?? Noel freaking out, Liam having his dream come true but then realising that they kept it a secret for a reason because they are in deep levels of shit...

I was saving this for my bedtime because wow going to sleep with a head full of ideas helps me to dream better 💡

There's a lot of things to take in consideration for a big revelation like that: their family, especially Peggy, Paul and their kids. And suffering is right there in the middle of the table, is the main menu for everyone involved. First, let me explain the worst case scenario I can imagine: a drone flying over Liam's or Noel's house.

Think about it, what if Noel is visiting Liam, thinking they're getting away with it once again (as I imagine they met before the reunion a couple of times), and so they're comfortable, maybe on the second floor, with the curtains opened during a dark night, but the lights staying on. The drone manages to get inside Liam's property, carefully flying to the bright window. But they're just talking, and the drone guy is thinking he's gonna sell some pics and get a bunch of money. That's his only purpose, until things get weird, really weird. Liam is towering over Noel way to close, bumping noses, and roaming his hands over Noel's thighs. Instead of pushing him away, Noel accepts the touches and dives into kissing Liam with so much confidence one would think they've been together for years now. But aren't they fucking brothers??? The drone guy is absolutely hyperventilating with this, unconsciously shaking the drone. He can't stop staring, his eyes glued to the screen as Liam slowly goes down on Noel.

You wanted this to be gut wrenching evidence??? Then Liam gives Noel the sloppiest blowjob on camera, literally deep throating him lmao. Then in the middle of it all, Noel focuses his eyes on the window, catching a red bright dot in front of them. Uh oh, the drone guy also noticed his glance, and he flies away from the crime scene.

Of course after this Noel is screaming at Liam, telling him what he just saw. Liam would not believe him at first, dismissing it as "his imagination" (he would probably tell a bad joke about getting older). Next day though, the media is FREAKING THE FUCK OUT, and their phones are exploding with calls and messages and curses and a lot of fucked up stuff. If Noel stayed with Liam for the night, then they face this together, crashing out in their own ways.

And you want suffering? Then Peggy is SICK to her stomach. According to one of Paul's thousands of voice messages, she's crying her eyes out and bawling like they got assassinated or something. Absolutely heartbreaking for the three of them. And Paul is no less shocked, he'd probably call them out for their horrible behaviour during all those years when he felt like an outsider of their sick and twisted relationship. Now he knows why, and he's disgusted.

The kids? Jesus the kids are confused and disgusted too. I think Gene would have the worst reaction of them all, making a whole crashing scene when he confronts them in person (cuz I don't think the others would want to face Liam or Noel, not even Anaïs). Noel receives the worst hit though, because Sara is no way letting him get close to their sons during the scandal (and I bet she also knew the truth all those years)

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

Not from her childhood, no. But she does in fact have some of her last photos and newspaper clippings she wrote while up on the surface. The clippings she probably wouldn't be too upset about losing. Although she would worry that they had gotten stolen by some person with nefarious intent. Her photos though? That would upset her even more. It already hurts to know she had to sell her camera to get money to travel to London...

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

Like many of my characters, the first initial concept for Blair came from what my mind visualized during a song when I didn't already have a character to latch onto it. The song was Camaraderie by Casey Malanuk, and I visualized a private eye and conspiracist character putting connections together on a board about recent crimes and disappearances. When I realized that this could make a neat concept for a light fingers or bag a legend character, I knew I had to make that very concept real. Even better that I already had a character I barely got to work with that I had made for a mystery ttrpg that never even got past the second session, so I was able to bring him back!

🏊 SWIMMING - can they swim? or are they afraid of water? how well do they swim? how do they feel about swimming in the ocean?

They can swim, but admittedly not very well. Most they can get by with is a doggy paddle and slow back stroke. The zee in the neath already scares them, and their mentors warnings before getting a boat... did not help at all.

💡 LIGHTBULB - is your oc a planner? do they write down every small detail or just wing it?

Blair meticulously plans most of the time, yes. But when it comes to being put on the spot, he tends to freeze up and forget everything he planned. And then he improvises. But... not well.

🚆 TRAIN - what is their answer to the trolley problem?

"I hate this question :("

Jokes about morals aside, if they were actually put on the spot? They'd try to cause the least amount of harm as possible and switch the tracks so only one person died.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

To not get into journalism and crime investigation. He's in too deep now, and the curiosity has him by a chokehold. If there were any way he could steer himself away from coming to the neath... he'd try.

💖 SPARKLING HEART - are they a subtle or a showy lover?

More like a deer in headlights type of lover. If she ever even got in a relationship that is. Otherwise I think she'd be lowkey about pda, but would still love to give gifts and show affection when she's not being watched by others.

My Journey with the Lomography Diana 🎞️ 📷

Today, I’d like to share my experience with one of my earliest lomo cameras: the Lomography Diana.

I don’t remember exactly when I got my hands on it, but it wasn’t my first lomo camera. However, it was the first true Lomography-branded camera I owned—complete with its iconic toy-like design and 1960s vintage vibe. Mine was the Diana Hong Meow edition 🐼, styled in black and white with a panda on the film dial and a signature bamboo-green strap.

The Diana’s Unique Features ✨

This fully mechanical camera offers a lot of creative potential, especially for those who enjoy experimenting with analog photography:

Aperture Options: Choose between apertures for cloudy or sunny days—or even a pinhole setting!

Lens Focal Positions: 75mm lens focal length options include portrait, group photo, and landscape.

Signature Lens: The single plastic lens creates a dreamy, blurry effect that remains one of my favorite features to this day.

The spirit of experimentation is exciting, but the results are often unexpected—which is one of the reasons I eventually sold the camera.

Medium Format Film and Flexibility 🎞️

The Diana uses 120 medium format roll film, producing 12 square 6x6 negatives. However, by using a special bracket, you can switch to 16 smaller 6x4.5 negatives, maximizing the number of shots per roll. The film advancement is manually controlled and monitored through a small, red-filtered window on the back of the camera.

Flash and Accessories 💡

One of the standout features is the vintage-looking flash, powered by 2 AA batteries. It is versatile enough to use with other cameras, including modern DSLRs, thanks to the included hot shoe adapter. A set of colored filters for the flash adds to the camera’s experimental potential, allowing for creative lighting effects.

The Diana is also compatible with a variety of accessories. One of my favorites was a lens attachment that exposed fractions of the film, creating kaleidoscopic effects in a single shot.

The Diana Experience 🎨

The Diana offers endless opportunities for experimentation, both intentional and accidental. With full manual control over aperture, focus, and film advancement, it isn't uncommon to end up with underexposed, overexposed, or double-exposed shots. This unpredictability, combined with the limitations of roll film, made the Diana less versatile and reliable for me than other cameras.

Today, the Diana is available in both 120 and 135 (35mm) film formats 🎞️. If I were to shoot with a Diana again, I’d likely opt for the 135 version or use a 120-to-135 adapter. The camera is surprisingly sharp in the center of the frame but heavily dependent on good lighting, so I’d recommend shooting with the flash (something I regret not doing enough).

For those looking for a similar aesthetic with added practicality, I’d suggest considering the 135mm Holga, which offers comparable creative potential with greater versatility.

Final Thoughts
