I checked your newest designs. Despite my initial reservations upon seeing you mix glitter with pristine silk, I’m... actually quite pleased with the results. I’m also looking forward to seeing more of your work. Not to pressure you or anything but the show is less than two weeks away and I would prefer that you do not cram things at the last minute. I can not emphasize enough on how important this show will be for my- - I mean- - your career. Also I already paid for the venue and everything. I’m not one for being wasteful.

Meetings will keep me late til next week but I will continue to check on your progress. As always, call the chef if you want anything else for dinner. Call my assistant if you want any additional supplies.

that’s the vambraces so far. since I couldn’t make the jewel as big, I wanted to add a few (many?) little ones in a pattern underneath/around. what do you guys think I could do as pattern? something floral? abstract? continuing the bat-theme?

Another night at the bar, another night ENTERTAINING. Nadir, all smiles and a flirtatious fluttering of lashes, DANCED. Despite the slight chill on the stage, and the close proximity of the guests, who were, in all honestly, too rowdy and constantly jeering at him and the others, he danced like there was no one else. He had to, for any slip up would get him in trouble. And he kind of liked dancing, even though he had to wear such revealing clothes and to show himself off like a prize.

When it was all said and done, and the patrons cheered and cat-called, he returned to the floor. Time to pass out drinks, he supposed. The blonde grinned as he passed people by, offering a drink and turning down offers to sit with men. He came to quite an unusual customer, very different from the rest. Much better dressed than most, too. He smiled at the patron, holding out his tray.

"A drink, sir~?" He practically purred, leaning in some. He was really laying it on tonight, but if he did well enough here, he would be taken off escort rotation for the week. He needed a break, honestly.

        Yusef watches, quiet, unmoving. Prince Kouha is sharpening his skills with his eldest brother, and the servant does not want to disturb his Lord. There are very few times one can see him so concentrated. It is beautiful, bold, inspiring, the way His Highness uses his small size to his advantage, swiftly deals blows, thinks quick and retreats to keep safe. Never having the courage, Yusef wishes he could ask to fight just like His Highness. His hands grasp at his scarf. He too could fight like that! If only he didn’t have the heart of a rabbit.

        It seems that just in that moment when Yusef makes that wish, His Highness slips on the morning dew and is knocked in the face by Lord Kouen’s trailing elbow. The next scene that plays out has Yusef giggling. Lord Kouen is holding his youngest brother’s face and apologizing profusely in his gruff manner of speaking, wiping the blood with his sleeve, looking angrier and angrier that it wasn’t stopping just because he said so.

        The first prince’s eyes are suddenly snapping up and glaring right into Yusef’s, and he almost has a heart attack right then and there. Prince Kouen yells about coming over and helping, which only has Yusef crumpling to his knees.
