Big Cats Agere Moodboard !

I really love big cats, they’re one of my favorite animals along with dinosaurs and wolves , so I made them into a moodboard ! this is my first time making a moodboard, and I think it came out pretty well. Requests for Agere moodboards are open !

Fun fact: my mom is from kenya and her dad was a wildlife veterinarian, and she used to have a pet lion that her dad brought home bc he refused to put him down! Unfortunately he grew up and they couldn’t keep him anymore but I’m sure they’re still friends!

Lion caregiver Rengoko + regressor Tanjiro headcanons

Guys, guys you don’t understand how much I love these two. Besides I’ve been wanting to write more things about caregiver’s having animal headspaces

~~~

~Something that starts to happen after the Mugen train. Getting injured and being so overprotective of Tanjiro. Usually he’s fine with just being told by Shinobu that the younger slayer is safe and well (even if she has to lie if Tanjiro is out in a mission)

~Finally puts a name to it when Tanjiro is injured at the same time as the flame pillar and keeps trying to get into his room to be with his caregiver. Rengoku’s just put together that 90% of the time if Tanjiro is trying to lay besides him in bed, he’s having really bad separation anxiety, hurting really badly, just had a nightmare, made uncomfortable by something… pretty much it’s associated with a lot of vent regression, and the fact that Shinobu won’t let his boy in the room, insisting that the pillar needs his rest, he just kinda snaps

~Clingiest caregiver in this headspace. Squishing Tanjiro’s face in his paws hands, checking him for injuries, before finally just resting his head on Tanjiro’s forehead. He’s here, he’s not going anywhere and he needs his boy to understand that.

~Wants his cub with him at all times, like oh my gosh let the baby breathe! Yeah no. That turns into a snarling papa lion practically smothering the baby in a blanket. He will heal faster that way, trust him. Shinbou meanwhile who’s just like ‘umm, actually, no.’

~So like how lionesses will keep her cub hidden from the other members of her pride Rengoku would like to do the sme thing. I say like to, because Shinobu keeps wanting to be annoy and check on him (“that’s litterally my job!”)

~Rengoku lets Tengen or Giyu get near the two of them, and sometimes, maybe, lets one of them take Tanjiro out to stretch his legs, go get food, ect. On the condition that if his cub is not brought back to him within five minutes Rengoku’s getting out of bed (no matter what Shinobu says) and is hunting them down.

~Lion cub Tanjiro who will pounce on Inosuke and try to bite him. Cub brain says to attack the boar and so he’s going to listen >:3 (kinda scares Zenitsu when he’s like this)

requested by anon ! i’ve never written for or experienced lion cub regression so i’m not sure how great these will be but i really wanted to try especially because the anon who requested these was such a sweetheart. arcane masterlist here , upcoming list here

mama caitlyn who calls you her little cub / cubby or lion and always acts scared when you roar no matter how many times you do.

you’re a vocal cub , not shy about roaring if you don’t like something. you don’t want to nap ? ROAR. you don’t want to go inside ? ROAR. you don’t want to take a bath ? ROAR.

you love the lion king and have so many toys and plushies from it ! whenever mama lets you pick a film to watch you pick the lion king. to her credit mama never complains. you sing along to all the songs , quoting all your favorite lines and laughing really hard at all the silly parts ! some parts are a little scary and you’ll cover your face with your simba plush or conveniently need to go potty right before a scary bit.

you also love going to the zoo ! you bring simba with you and show him all of the big cats , stopping for an extra long time at the lions ! you roar at the lions and caitlyn ruffles your mane chuckling. “does simba want a picture , love ?” you and your plushie nod enthusiastically , posing with the lions for a photo op.

you love having your hair mane brushed. mama will gently brush it , telling you how pretty it is. you swish your tail back and forth , purring as she brushes.

baba vi will roar back at you sometimes but mama doesn’t usually. you clap with delight every time he does this , giggling. you’ll flex your claws at him and swipe them threateningly if you’re feeling fussy. then he acts scared and you laugh evilly >:3

you know lots of facts about lions ! you and caitlyn read lots of books about them in your free time. you point at all the pictures , excitedly roaring as if to say “it’s me !”

you hiss and fuss whenever caitlyn clips your nails. lions are supposed to have claws ! it’s so mean that mama won’t let you have yours ! “come on , my little cub. i wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself with your big sharp claws ! how is mama going to cuddle her little lion if their claws are too big ?” you continue to fuss until you realize your declawing is inevitable… and she may have a point about the cuddling thing.

you love animal crackers. yes you’re a big scary predator eating all the prey ! you growl at anyone who tries to sneak one from your stash , opening your mouth to show them the half chewed crackers in your mouth. this gets you scolded but it doesn’t stop you.

you chew on your plushies sometimes. you’re a big scary lion , no one is safe ! ψ(｀∇´)ψ you’d never hurt your plushie friends for real but a little nibble now and you again shows them who’s the leader of the pride !
