I find the whole, familiars (like the fairies) can also turn and work as a magic staff really interesting and it makes me wish we had more about that, like I really want to know more about that concept and whether or not it works kind of like Ambrosia (since it's essentially a living staff)

Because the explanation Kui gave for Mithrun not having a staff is because he lost his all the time, but wouldn't his fairy fix the issue? Since they can follow their masters and become staves?

In her monster eater card Pattadol is also holding her staff while her fairy is there too, are there scenes in the manga where they're both there? Is this something only Pattadol does for some reason? Did Mithrun lose his fairy often? Is fairies becoming staves no longer canon? Kui come here I just wanna talk, answer me

I don't think ambrosia could do this tho, since Marcille weaved it herself? The changes ambrosia goes thru like when resurrecting Falin or when it gets overcharged with magic are pretty minimal.

Laios laments all the work he has to do as king, Kabru immediately offers to take on the majority of Laios's workload, briefly mentioning (more just talking to himself about logistics) that he'll have to let the Canaries know he won't be able to help with Mithrun as much

Laios: why don't I do it?

Kabru: what?

Laios: like a trade! you take on more of my royal responsibilities, and I help care for Mithrun.

Kabru: ... are you sure you want to do that? you really don't have to-

Laios: [already way too into the idea]
