100 years ago the bullshit health tinctures had cocaine or opium or 50% ABV in them but now our bullshit health cures are just celery juice or apple cider vinegar and no fun stuff. Our modern snake oil also doesn’t cure you of anything either but at least the old got them high or drunk or helped them focus.
