Just keep going with the flow that aligns with your "life" flow.
So, ayun na nga. One more day before the super long weekend. Keep it up po, opo.
Another weekend na naman na papalapit tayo sa ating munting life goal na work from anywhere like Siqui jungle zone, Duma, at syempre, the very elusive Bicolandia Extravaganza with my wonky MatchaME na napaka tagal na sa bucket list ko. Sana nga matuloy kasi mga 2 weeks while grinding po like crazy ang plano then 'pag walang grind, bike, bike, bike. Sana rin kasama si Vici kaso autoimmune is not kidding e. HAYYYY. Don't get me wrong. Walang masama sa dog na natahol. It's just that my two kiddos are super fine. LOL. LUH. Pero 'pag kami lang naman, well-mannered siya most of the time. Baka kasi Aries din dad ko.
So, whyyyyyy Bicolandia?
Una, mura. Pangalawa, 'di siya super layo. Masarap 'to long drive for sure, so mag-drive na ba talaga ako ulit? Fourth, oks for biking. Pabebe man or bomba bike. Akala mo naman may practice tayong mainam, ano? Plus, my Calaguas experience ages ago is one forda books. Sobrang mura, sobrang payak, sobrang solid. Inom. Kain ng bagong lutong ihaw. Inom. Yosi. Kwentuhan. Walang signal. Hahahahaha. Shemay. Those were my glory days. Buti may flashlight.
Pero next time, bike packer mode, g!
HAHAHAHA. Funds na lang talaga ang labanan. LOL. May overdue driving lessons tayong nakalista for Q4 this year. Kaya naman, abangan!!! Kaso, mas mahal 'pag nagda-drive kasi mas madali akong ayain, honestly. There were times na from MNL house to masukal na Antipolo kahit dis oras ng gabi at traffic pabalik, oks lang sa akin. Basta may Aegis saka yosi sa traffic. Ganern. Lobo in Batangas? Basic. Hahahahaha. 'Di ba? Kaloka. YIKES. Hahahahaha.
Speaking of which, isa ko pang gusto talagang matutunan ay.... scooter. As a Vespa cutie na may angkas na... wait for it... cutie MatchaME. Hahahahahahaha. And ngayon, gusto na rin ng tatay ko 'tong combo na 'to. Sabi niya: 'Nak, ganda ng bike mo. Very convenient siya lalo for Vici. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Pero, nakwento ko na yata 'to before. The main reason din ng pag-uproot natin outside MNL is because I'm seeking ways na ma-enjoy lalo ng tatay kong pakitong-kitong ang retirement season niya. OPAK. Going beyond transactional na talaga tayo, 'di ba? LUH. And I know so well these days, that mom is praying for this day to come. EME. Ganun.
While my fave Aegis is playing rn, self, malayo na, pero malayo pa. Hihihihihihihi. Keep not choosing choices that make you anxious and overthink kahit overthinker ka naman talaga kahit saan, kahit kailan. Pero gets mo naman what I mean. And most importantly, keep choosing to laugh, cry, and let the emotions flow, so you can let them go, too. Kaya mo 'yan. Kaya mo na. Ora et labora season is on talaga. Salamat sa nanay kong dragon na akala mo naman buhay na buhay pa talaga siya kahit for sure, fertilizer na siya sa lupa these days. Alam mo na, ma. 'Yung bulong ko sa'yo e. Hahahaha.

"Beh, ano na?" sigaw ng Iron Man. "Portal na, bilis!"
Walang pasubaling nagpaikot-ikot ng kamay ang Master of the Mystic Arts.
Napatda ang Iron Man.
“Shet,” bulong nito, "narinig mo 'yun,?"
"Ba't mo tinawag na 'Beh' yung wizard?" Humalukipkip si Rhodey. "Mag-ano ba kayo talaga?"
"Hoy gago," sigaw niya sa Master of the Mystic Arts sa di-kalayuan. "Psst. HUY. 'Lika rito."
"Mag-ano ba tayo? Mag-jowa, mag-waswit, magkamag-anak, magka-fans club, ano?"
Tiningnan ng Master of the Mystic Arts si Tony, tapos si Rhodey sa likod niya, tapos si Tony ulit. At bumuntung-hininga.
" 'Tado!"
Coat and tie 'yun, ha!

Short Filipino slang glossary:
"beh" = short for "baby"
"gago" = figuratively meaning "idiot," can be a term of endearment among friends

"jowa/syota" = slang for boyfriend/girlfriend. the latter has a derisive connotation of "short time," but not everybody knows that (tony is pretending he doesn’t).
"waswit" = dated slang for “spouse”...specifically, “wife” (cough).
"mag-'on' kami" = a vague term that could mean anything from "we're seeing each other" to "we're going steady"

Magsisihan
Hindi na maitatatwa
Banta ng paghihiwalay
Kulang na kulang sa tawa
Ang pagsasamang matamlay
Ang ugnayang nabubutas
Parang barkong lumulubog

Baguio City’s successful contact tracing due to ‘quality info’
#PHnews: Baguio City’s successful contact tracing due to ‘quality info’
MANILA – Baguio City Mayor Benjamin “Benjie” Magalong said the key to successful contact tracing is the quality of information obtained by tracers to get a clear picture of the city’s rate of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection.
Magalong, a retired general, likened contact tracing to “investigating a serial criminal offense”, stressing that it was more than just a matter of identifying and listing people’s names.
Saan galing iyong infection? Ang dami po nating dapat alamin (We need to find out the whole story because we are running after a lot of people — how did this person get infected? Where did the infection come from? There’s so much to know) and that is the reason why I keep on saying that contact tracing is very similar po sa pag-iimbestiga po ng isang (to investigating a) serial criminal offense,” he said in a virtual presser with Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday.
He emphasized the importance of having “cognitive interviewing skills” among investigators to efficiently collect information.
“Hindi ho basta-bastang puwede na lang kumuha ng mga ordinary na workers diyan at turuan na lang po diyan (We can’t just get ordinary workers and teach them) because they need to be trained po sa cognitive interviewing skills, pati ho iyong mga (even) basic investigation,” he said.
Investigators, he said, should be able to help a person recall the incident in as much detail as possible.
“Can you just imagine, iyong atin pong positive case ay kalimitan po iyan conflicted, ang taas po ng anxiety level niyan, litung-lito po iyan. Kaya dito po papasok iyong skill na ito ng isang investigator (positive cases are usually conflicted, they have high anxiety levels, they are confused. This is where the skills of the investigator come in),” he said.
Besides this, he said there should also be a seamless collaboration between law enforcement, investigators, and health authorities.
“Importante po ito na magkasama po ang ating mga PNP investigators at ating mga doctors and nurses...Ang importante po rito ay iyong effort ng isa complements the effort of the other (It’s important that our Philippine National Police investigators and our doctors and nurses work together. What’s important here is the effort of one complements the effort of the other),” he said.
Magalong also stressed that extensive testing is critical to contact tracing.
Despite medical groups’ opposition to rapid antibody testing, he said these tests were crucial in the “process of elimination” in terms of contact tracing.
We isolate them at ilu-launch po namin iyong contact tracing (we can focus on those who tested positive. We isolate them and launch contact tracing). Meantime, they are subjected to RT-PCR [real time polymerase chain reaction] tests,” he said.
Rapid antibody test kits use blood samples but are unable to detect the virus. Instead, they measure a patient’s antibodies through the sample. These tests are still subjected to PCR confirmatory tests.
He said successful contact tracing should also have transparency and speed, noting that “every second matters.”
Magalong also said the use of technology such as analytical tools, is “indispensable.”
“There is no substitute to being proactive,” Magalong said.
Baguio City was earlier recognized by the National Task Force Covid-19 as a model local government unit for managing to keep its Covid-19 cases low.
Currently, the Philippines is short of about 94,000 contact tracers to achieve the ideal ratio of one tracer per 800 people, according to the Department of Health. The agency aims to address the lack of contact tracers through emergency hiring. (PNA)
