Most historical romance-coded show I've seen.... maybe ever. It's swoony, it's full of heated tension and kissing, and it ends on an optimistic note (like, the HEA isn't ASSURED, but it's obviously going to happen) if that is the ending. Which, tbh... I don't know. I've become very fond of limited series and minis. I like an ending. I don't like quality decline. If that is it for that show, I'm fine.

Romance storylines have declined significantly, just like onscreen sex in general. It's a bummer.

If you're looking for something dark and toxic and not actually in a show I'd call heavily romance.... while also being heavily based on the romance arc lmao, I personally think Lestat and Louis from Interview with the Vampire have had one of the most compelling TV romances I've seen in FOREVER. I'm OBSESSSSED with Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson's chemistry. Some of the best I've seen EVER. It's soooo hot, you get the obsession on both sides, I looove the changes they made in the adaptation (as someone who does nOT like the book or the 1994 adaptation) and I frankly cannot wait for Lestat to show up in 2020 or whenever the present timeline is set all "LOOEE! MY PETIT SCOUNDREL! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MEEEEE" while wearing what I can only assume will be the most gauche outfit known to man.

Also: "I wanted him dead. I wanted him all to myself" over slow motion intense eye contact in a ballroom is one of the greatest things committed to television thanks

I really loved Ed and Stede in Our Flag Means Death. Like, the first season is one of my favorite seasons of TV. I was not a fan of s2, but you can just skip to the last five minutes for their HEA lmao. But yeah, great chemistry, a really interesting angle (an interracial romance between two middle aged men, one of which is basically a goth and the other... the opposite of goth).

Most of the rest is like. Less recent lol. Maybe within the last 6-7 years.

I've noticed a few people in the VnC fandom mistakenly writing Louis' name as "Louise".

If you know a bit of French, you should know that usually, when a word ends with an s, the s is silent. The same thing applies to e, if a word ends with an e, usually the e is silent. So when you write "Louis", it's pronounced "Looee" (if I have to write it for English speaking people). But if you write "Louise" it's pronounced "Looeez". It's not another way of writing it, it's another name.

What I want to explain with this is that Louise is the feminine alternative to Louis and I am extremely confused.

9/1/2019 to 1/3/19 Milan,Thirroul,Chch,Brisbane,Sunshine Coast, Perth...

So flew out of Milan on the 9th of Jan...into Sydney 10th. Stayed with Kay, Arty and family. Lots of love from Lucy Mia and Harvey..(dogs)...have missed having fur babies in my life. Beach walks, coffee, family and good old Ozzie tucker, hair repaired, toe nails detailed.... and a whole new time zone ... now 10 hours ahead of Italy...

16 Jan...flight to Christchurch NZ to catch with parents and family. Surprise for mum and dad..they didn’t know I was coming. A quick catch up, then headed south to stay with Philip and Sally .... day trip to Peel forest, lunches, walks, catch with Lauryn, Simon, Isobel and dogs...oh also Gus my favourite hooman cat.. Sal and I even helped sort the dirt for Kyle and Adams yard...hard yakka in the heat.

Back to stay with mum and dad, some day trips, some problems solving, just spending time...man getting old isn’t that much fun...

Caught up with Mark, Ash and Dino...walk at the Gryones with Dee, Leo and Charlee..exciting news new bub on the way..indoor netball game, checking out new homes... Another new time zone, 12 hours ahead of Italy... enjoying food choices...

31st January..flew to Brisbane..stayed with Toni and Gracie..catch up time with Earnshaw family, Cathy, Nel and Juleso...walks with Gracie, massage, bit of shopping and sharing pilates with Toni, ride on new train from Wynnum to Eagle Junction to have lunch date with Juleso... 9th to 14th..headed to sunny coast to catch with Alecz, Ash, Juleso, Max,Jett and the refuge group.

While at cricket got to catch up with Johnnie H...breakfast catch up with AandA...checked out the new house, walk down the beach. Stayed with Max..and morning with the dogs at the refuge..then moved to stay with Juleso..caught up with Louise...more good tucker..oysters, bugs and prawns... caught with our neighbours..Wayne, Nicole,Luke and their fur baby Moses...what a great match...reminds me how spoilt we are with such great neighbours...Moses such a lucky dog finding a great family..with lots of love..another time zone done..9 hours ahead of Italy...

Now after speaking with Jac and Reece, we all decided to move Pudd back to her mumma!! So collected Pudd and stayed over night with Toni and Gracie.. (Pudd the cat, Gracie the Westie).. we all survived...packed Pudd up and flew to Perth... oh saw Mary Poppins returns...great movie..

14th Feb...look out Perth here Pudd and I come...got to see R and J’s new home..R had bought Pudd a bed...was appreciated by Pudd...gym mornings, beach walks, breakfasts, dinners and catch ups with R’s family.. bike rides along the beach bright blue skies and time spent with the kids... toes nails repolished...hair coloured..massage..pack my bags...another time zone 7 hours ahead of Italy...
