It’s been months since he’s settled into life at Wayne Manor. It’s hilarious that they don’t think he knows about their obvious nightlife (and that’s coming from someone whose hero name was just their last name spelled differently) but they don’t know anything about his own past as a vigilante. To be fair, a dimensionally displaced Ghost King wasn’t really on the board for reasonable guesses. Danny Fenton blinked innocently at Duke, blue eyes watery and oh-so-trusting of his adopted older brother when Duke claimed that his bruising came from getting caught in Ivy’s attack on the busses today.

(“Oh my god he’s so trusting and pure what the hell?” He heard Steph whisper to Dick, who nodded emphatically.)

“Oh man, you should get some rest. You guys are seriously unlucky, you know? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Danny asked Duke, his core trilling as he allowed himself to fuss over a member of his ‘fraid.

“Nah, man. I’m good. I think I’ll take a nap and sleep it off.”

“Okay. Oh, here!” Danny fumbled for his bag, grabbing his prescribed pain meds- for his chronic pain, but they don’t actually do anything for him since his ectoplasm burns away most of it- and handed it to Duke. “Take one, and only one. Those bruises look nasty.”

And then Danny gave him the puppy dog eyes and Duke folded, because Danny knew that he wasn’t supposed to hand his meds out but these situations were kind of the reason he claimed chronic pain to being with (even if it was true and his hands shook with aftershocks).

“Thanks, Danny. I feel like death warmed over.”

Danny laughed, the opportunity to mess with the family sparking in his head. “Yeah, I’ve died before. Wouldn’t recommend it.”

With that, Danny threw Duke an easy going smile and walked towards his room, bag on his back.

From his peripherals, Danny watched Jason drop his bowl of snacks, Dick’s pale face, and the concerned and shocked look of everyone else. Except Damian, who just kind of scowled thoughtfully. Tim looked like he was going to rip Danny apart like an interesting puzzle, Cass sat up straight (and he made sure every micro expression he caught on others stayed unconcerned on his own body), and Duke froze.

He snickered- well out of regular earshot- as whispers and whispered shouts rung out after he left the room.

He can’t wait to drop the “I know you’re vigilantes” bomb on them. It’ll be hilarious.

Can we get MK randomly dumping the fact that Macaque fought him and hunted him down in the previous cycle? Like Macaque tells him "Be careful around my shadows" and MK is like "Don't worry, I've fought them before lol"

Poor Macaque is so confused😭 MK already forgave Macaque for hunting him/attacking him in the previous cycle, so sharing this info isn't that much of a big deal here✨ But that doesn't mean that Macaque is thrilled by this, MK already told him about him living in another time period and some basic stuffs, and he wonder why would he ever want to attack a kid-

It take longer for MK to share about the more complicated and heavy stuff, like how Macaque died (and how apparently Wukong is the one who killed him) and all the LBD events. But one things MK don't- and never want to talk about is his fight with Wukong and his sacrifice to end the cycle. (Wukong will remember it at one point tho-)

Wrestling lore is really funny to explain to non-wrestling people, mainly because you have to suspend your disbelief much more than you would do for stuff like anime or superhero fiction. Think of it like this; it’s normal for a shonen anime protagonist or a superhero to demonstrate they have superpowers usually because it’s established early on. That also goes for other parts of the lore, such as the world-building, the MacGuffins, and the history of that world.

But in wrestling, characters and storylines change all the time and are ongoing (I’ve seen the term “longform storytelling” used). So you end up with HUGE leaps in logic, such as:

1) There’s a supernatural being from hell who temporarily became a biker gang member, and then went back to being a supernatural being from hell

2) There’s a male model who gave out grooming tips who eventually evolved into Captain America/Homelander.

3) Triple H committed burglary on camera. He invaded Randy Orton’s home, beat him up, destroyed some of his property, and then threw Orton out the window. But it’s all fine because he’s the good guy, so he’s still employed by the WWE.

4) Dominik Mysterio is beefing with his dad, who literally fought for child custody of him in a wrestling match. Keep that in mind anytime you see Dominik not getting along with Rey.

5) Edge got sent to hell, but is okay now.

6) CM Punk was once a cult leader, but stopped doing that after he lost his hair. Then he became the opposite, as in he turned into an anti-authority rebel.

7) A lot of wrestlers, such as Sheamus and Shawn Spears, apparently used to work at WWE as background staff/security guards.

8) Real life famous music artist Bad Bunny is part of the lore and he actually beat a world champion (Damian Priest) in a match. And I don’t mean Bad Bunny is playing a character. In the WWE lore, Bad Bunny is playing himself.

I like to think this is how April met them -v-

I've seen a lot of separated aus around and decided to have a go at it.

But I didn't want this to be just any regular separated au, so I decided that rather than being separated at birth, the brothers were separated at timeline.

For example, Mikey's brothers died in the lab explosion back when they were itty bitty turtle tots.

Due to this, he was raised an only child, and despite having little memory of his brothers, he continued to be the happy-go-lucky box turtle mutant we all know and love.

He's done a lot of good in his timeline, like turning both Baron Draxum and Big Mama good, befriending would-be criminals like the Foot Clan and other villains in the show.

But he always wanted his brothers. The one thing he never had.

One day, during one of his mystic lessons with Draxum, Mikey was introduced to the multiverse theory. The many differing branches of timelines and alternate universes, etc. etc.

And that got Mikey curious.

So naturally, he went exploring.

And found three timelines unnaturally tied to his. In each timeline, he found a version of one of his brothers, a version that lost everything.

Three timelines. Three brothers.

Michelangelo might not have known these versions, but to him, they were immediately his family.

So he rescued them, and took them home with him.

Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello went through. . . a lot, to say the least.

But Mikey's going to do everything in his power to show them that life isn't just about surviving the next day.

And maybe, just maybe, they'll be able to become the family they all lost.
